I've had very thin hair my whole life, and was finally super excited to have long, thick hair. So this was very upsetting and disappointing. After researching hair extensions in Austin when I got here, I found Dede. She readjusted all my tape in extensions. They never fell out again, and I was very happy! The tape ins were great, but still weren't exactly what I wanted. Dede talked to me about the keratin bonded extensions, which are her expertise, and I was sold. I switched from tape ins to Great Lengths about a week ago, and I couldn't be happier. They look more natural and I don't have to worry if anyone can see the tapes. Also, I now can pull up my hair and do so much more with it. Thanks Dede! :)

I was referred to Keri by a trusted family member, and I'm so glad I went to her! This is during COVID-19, and I couldn't have felt safer in her private studio at Grapevine Salons in South Austin. She kept her mask on the entire time and worked around my mask straps. She listened to my home salon mistakes without judgement, and talked me through the process so I knew what to expect. I feel so much better now that Keri has fixed my hair! I will absolutely be returning to her for future services. Keri was able to color correct my hair and now I get compliments ALL the time on my blonde. Keri made the color fit to my skin tone... not just doing a standard blonde color across the board. I have an ashy skin tone, so my blonde is now more ashy rather than yellow and it has made ALL the difference. And the color is DIMENSIONAL. I love it. Not only is Keri great with color and blondes, but she also knows what products to use to keep your hair healthy, and she can educate you on what you should be using for your hair type. My hair is so long and healthy now, people literally all the time ask me if I have extensions... and I don't. (*Important to note that Keri does do the best extensions in town. This is feedback I've heard from other hair dressers in the building.) I have been going to Keri for over 4 years now. She has the sweetest, funniest personality and will keep you entertained throughout your time with her. She always remembers details about whats going on in my life and is intentional to follow up with things from my prior appointment. She cares about your hair & she cares about your soul. 100% recommend.

In the end, I learned that you have to cover the grey and then do highlights, or your hair turns red. But she did them together. I went back to have her "fix" it at no charge, but she made it worse. Because she did not really know how to fix it. I had to go to a hair color expert to color correct that red out of my hair. It cost me 3 times as much as getting my hair done because I had to do it twice. The expert said to let my hair rest before stripping it again of the color that Britany did to ruin my hair - making it unnaturally red. So I had to live with it for a month before I could strip my hair of more red. I would not even give one star. Please do not go Brtany - she is still learning. And ruining hair is how she learned with me. Not sure she learned how to do it better... not using bleach on sensitive scalps??? I learned not to go to Bradz. When I went back to 'fix" it, she confessed it happened a lot with her. And said, "At least you came back, most do not.". When I talked to her, she wanted to design clothes, not do hair... but she is there doing hair with a hit-or-miss record at Bradz. The people were nice - the service is good, but my hair was torched, and I had to spend so much money fixing it at Organic Hair Salon - https://www.theorganiccolorsalon.com/ Nora knew just what to do to fix it... and I will only be going to her from now on. I recommend her highly and suggest you going there too.

I had seriously struggled since moving to the states to find a hairdresser that worked for me - and had,as such, hopped all over the place trying one after another in the search for a normal highlight. The result was some disastrously stripy sections and terrible / severe regrowth. Emily took one look, showed me the damage - I won't pretend to know exactly what she did, some sort of witchcraft possibly - but I emerged just under two hours later with a uniformly golden mop - and she has since transitioned my highlight over to a super natural balayage. So. Much. Better. She's great - delightful, knowledgable, efficient and very very very good at what she does - I wouldn't let anyone else in Austin touch my hair!
