Kendall and Julian are an amazing team! I just moved from San Francisco and I was looking for someone who does the i-tip extensions, they're the least damaging to my hair. It was impossible to find anyone who does them! Then I found Kendall and could not be happier! I'm incredibly particular about my hair. I haven't even found a doctor or a dentist out here yet, I prioritized finding a hair place. You can totally judge me for that, but hopefully this assure you this review is very legit and well deserved. Kendall knows her stuff. She even has her own line of extensions that are a whole inch thicker than the industry standard. I truly can not say enough good things about my experience with Kendall! She absolutely knows everything about hair extensions and is just a wonderful person. I was so nervous about getting extensions, but I always wanted to have longer and fuller hair. I finally decided to try them and I'm so thankful I did. The whole experience was awesome- I loved having extensions! I received endless compliments on how great my hair looked and if I gave away my secret that I had extensions people were shocked at how they could not even tell and how beautiful they looked! After 7 months of having them, I made a decision to remove them because my 8 month old was starting to pull at my hair and I found myself keeping my hair in a braid all day long and not getting the chance to enjoy them. Once he is out of the grabbing stage, I'll definitely be back to have them reinstalled. My natural hair remained healthy and looks just as good as it did before I had extensions installed thanks to Kendall's advice and guidance on how to properly care for and maintain my extensions. This was my biggest fear- having them removed and finding my hair to be damaged like I heard from so many others that went elsewhere, especially because I have very fine hair. That did not happen to me at all! My natural hair looks and feels just as healthy as it was before the extensions. She was honest with me from day one and she did an amazing job all around. Honestly I cannot say enough good things about Kendall. I have some of the hardest red hair to color match and have never found someone that is both able and willing to put in the work to give me beautiful hair. I purchased a Groupon for full highlights and a cut. Typically I am a little nervous about services purchased on there but I needed my hair done and it was a pretty good deal. Kendall called me right back to schedule and was nice and professional on the phone. The location is adorable and very clean. I was worried about parking during Rot Rally but it wasn't a problem. Kendall has seriously transformed my hair over the last year. Between Brazilian Blowouts, color and *most importantly* extensions, she has helped me achieve my ultimate hair goals. She has been so flexible and creative as we've played around with ombré, highlights, color and length on my extensions, and never makes me feel high maintenance (even though I clearly am ) -- she loves her clients and treats us like close friends... no topic is off-limits and no judgment is passed if I come in with my messy ponytail and gym clothes. I needed a haircut because I've been growing my hair long from a short cut for a few months now, and I was referred to Kendall by a friend. I'm always a little skeptical trying out new hair stylists because of bad past experiences, but Kendall was great, she made me feel comfortable right away, she was funny, and asked exactly what I was wanting done with my hair. She listened and didn't pressure me at all. She spent her time, using only scissors and fixing the wire-y mess that was my hair from all the previous cuts I've gotten with a razor. Kendall did my hair for my wedding and she was fantastic! I would highly recommend her as a hair stylist. She is professional, seriously talented, and just fun to hang out with. She came to do my wedding hair around 8 AM, bright and early, and helped me feel calm and relaxed. She did my sister's hair as well, which looked amazing! One thing I especially loved is that instead of using a ton of bobby pins for an updo, she used this piece of thread, and sewed the hairdo into place - something I've never seen before. I just moved back to Texas from Seattle. And the frizziness of my hair was getting unbearable. I bought a Living Social for a Brazilian Blowout with Kendall at Mayhem in an act of desperation and frustration. I went to Kendall last week for the Brazilian Blowout and a haircut. My only regret is that I didn't start getting BBs when I lived in Texas before! It is amazing! My hair is so smooth. It takes me about 1/3 of the time to style it and the frizz is totally gone. Kendall also did a great job with my cut. She fixed the things I wasn't liking about my hair (some intense facial framing) and kept the length I wanted to keep. On top of being a great stylist, Kendall is funny and smart as a whip. Plus, her hair is awesome, which should be on everyone's list of criteria when selecting a stylist. My wife's review: Kendall is an absolute professional in every way...business strategy, client savvy, industry/product knowledge, realistic approach, friendly attitude, personal integrity, and outstanding results. I cannot speak highly enough of her shop and quality of service, which I decided to try through a Living Social deal. My Brazilian Blowout was reasonably quick, deeply moisturizing (surprise!) and gave me exactly the incredible results I was hoping for. Kendall herself made the appointment even more fun...she's intelligent and easy to talk to. I've never been more comfortable with any stylist EVER, and completely trust her with my hair. The keratin treatment she uses is the real deal, not a harsh 'chemical' straightener. I wasn't worried about the high-temperature process because my hair handles heat very well, but even so, Kendall was gentle with the blowdryer and easy on the flat-iron. She did not try to up-sell ANY products, but simply reminded me not to use any sulfate shampoos or Argan oil on my keratinized hair, as either one will strip the treatment prematurely. With this particular process, she said I could immediately wash and style my hair the same evening...no waiting period or gross 'curing' stage with this one! Yay! I highly recommend working with Kendall for a wedding! I met her at my maid of honor's wedding. She came on time, even a bit early if I remember, to do makeup. And when the hairstylist showed up extremely late (he worked at a different salon, not associated with Mayhem Beauty), she chose to stay to help out with doing hair too! Everyone's makeup and hair looked amazing, so I thought she would be perfect for my wedding 2 months later. Kendall is amazing. She was a wedding gift to me and did hair and makeup for both myself and my mother. She was incredibly patient, kind, calm, pleasant, and a total beauty rockstar. My mother did not want her makeup done because she had never felt like anyone else did it right for her. After my mothers hair was done, Kendall picked up her brushes and started on her face and my mom went with it (it had been a crazy day). My mother later said that she didnt even know it was possible to look like that, and felt more lovely than she had in 15 years (and she really did look fantastic). As for me, Kendall gave me the exact hair that I had wanted, and understood exactly what I wanted the first time I tried to describe it. She also did a wonderful job with my makeup --I did not want "bridal" makeup, but something that looked natural and light and still beautifully made up.
