Kaitlin at Lola Beauty is amazing! I am so so thankful that I had the chance to work with her for my wedding day trials, welcome party and my wedding day! She is an exceptional hairstylist and I absolutely loved my hair for each of my two events. Additionally, my bridemaids all raved about their different wedding day hairstyles. Working with Kaitlin and her team was amazing! She is extremely professional, punctual and an overall amazing person! I would highly recommend booking Kaitlin at Lola Beauty! Thank you again for making my day so special! read more

BRIDES BEWARE!! While I should have been aware of the redflags leading up to my trial (this was in May 2026) the day before I still had no time confirmed- terrible communication. Now fast forward 2 months before my wedding (November 2026) and they double booked my stylist (Ashley- who is incredible and not the problem here - the company that manages is) after I've paid. Been confirmed via email. They tell me I have no contract signed which was an overlook and caused a double booked. Terrible customer service and I would not risk your perfect day with this company- their customers are clearly not first. DO NOT USE. read more

Amazing!!! So glad I went with them for my big day! LoLa did my wedding makeup and hair, and they did not disappoint. Everyone loved them! Joseph and Sloan brought my dream look to life and made sure I felt beautiful on my big day. They were so kind and made everyone feel comfortable. Additionally, all my bridesmaids were so thrilled with their looks. My sister said she liked her hair and makeup better than on her own wedding day! Joseph did some flawless makeup, a mix of traditional and airbrush. It was exactly what I asked for, but better. And Sloan was the sweetest--she stayed back and waited extra time so I could fit in PJ photos and helped me figure out the best look for my flower crown. She was so great and my hair was freaking beautiful--she is so talented. Highly, highly recommend for all beauty needs! Professional photos to come. read more

I found LoLa Beauty when researching hair & makeup teams for my wedding in Fredericksburg, TX. This is THE team to hire if you want you and your girls to look absolutely flawless on wedding day!! Sophia did my makeup and Miranda did my hair for both my engagement photos and on wedding day, and we also had Paige who did both hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. Everyone looked so beautiful! I hear this team has over 40 stylists to work with, and if you check out their Instagram, you can tell the level of professionalism their work conveys! They are the best of the best and I highly recommend reaching out to LoLa for your next big event! read more

Tanya and her team were phenomenal! Seriously never felt more beautiful and confident. I booked LoLa Beauty based on a friend that previously used them for her wedding, reviews and how well their prices were laid out on their website. Tanya was my lead stylist and I cannot say enough great things about her. From my trial to my wedding day, she was absolutely perfect. My hair looked exactly like the photo I chose on Pinterest and my makeup was flawless. Plus, my entire bridal party loved their hair and makeup. .which I feel rarely happens. Tanya's team really listened to each persons needs and wants and delivered. Everyone was on time and professional, plus they added a last minute makeup, literally that day. .my mom didn't remember that she opted out of makeup and the ladies quickly decided they would fit her in. We still left on time. They also had to deal with a screaming toddler who did not want her hair touched. They were seriously so patient. I was ready to give up on my niece and was totally fine if they couldn't get her hair done lol but they did it! Thank y'all so much! read more

LoLa was wonderful for myself, my girls, and the moms on my wedding day. They were on time, professional, kind, and uplifting. My trial with them was super easy, and they took photos as a reference for my wedding day. My mom also did a trial so she could see what she would like. We were all done early on my wedding day, which made my life so much easier without having to stress over getting ready. I would recommend them every time! read more

Terrible customer service. Firstly, you will never talk to an actual person. They only send vague emails with no contact name or number. Sometimes emails go a week without being answered (although they are super fast when you are interested in booking!). Secondly, I had to reschedule my wedding because of covid. I gave them almost 4 months notice and they still refused to pay my almost $600 deposit. They could have easily booked another wedding. Their contract is much stricter than other hair & makeup companies so be 100% sure with everything before signing. They'll say it's to protect their artists but it's really to take advantage of people, like me, so they can make extra money. read more

I was so relieved when I found LoLa Beauty! Being a 2020 bride there were so many curveballs and changes, and they worked with me through all of them. My trial was SO good I was totally at ease on my wedding day with Lauren doing my hair and makeup. My maid of honor even decided to get her makeup done after seeing my trial photos and she never does. I felt so confident on my wedding day, hair and makeup looked amazing even by the time I got back to the hotel. I can't say enough good things about LoLa Beauty! read more

WOW! I am SO glad that I had the LoLa Beauty ATX team to help me and my bridesmaids feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day! I have always been a bit skeptical about having my makeup done for weddings because I am pretty particular about my makeup and I don't want to look like a completely different person because of how my makeup is done. I fell in love with the LoLa Beauty team at my brother's wedding when they did our makeup for his wife and her bridesmaids (which I was one of). I knew I would be hiring them for my wedding when the day came. Tanya absolutely knocked it out of the park! I have never felt more beautiful in my life and it was all thanks to her! Luna and Joseph did my bridesmaids hair and makeup and every single girl was so happy with how it turned out! Joseph was actually who did my makeup for my brother's wedding, so I knew my girls were in great hands! Tanya, Luna, and Joseph are seriously the DREAM TEAM! Not only did they make each of us feel so beautiful and confident, they were also so much fun to have around while we were all getting ready the morning of my wedding. They have such great energy and personality - exactly what you want the morning of your wedding. I am forever thankful for the LoLa Beauty team and the huge role they played in my wedding! read more

Like most brides-to-be I spent many hours on Pinterest, and looked through many stylist sites to see what kinds of looks I liked and would like to have at my wedding; and based on the many beautiful photos chose Lola Beauty. My trial went awesome, she spent painstaking hours on my hair and makeup and I couldn't have been more happy with the flawless results. We arranged how many members of the bridal party needed to be styled, the time of photos, paid for extra stylists etc. Fast forward to my wedding day, we walk in at the pre-arranged time to find only 2 stylists (half of our supposed team) unpacking and looking stressed. My stylist sat me down and started hurriedly pinning curls to the top of my head while making multiple phone calls calling her boss and trying to track down the people who were supposed to be there; while the stylist next to me was trying to whip as many bridesmaids through as possible (as we had 3 hours to do hair and makeup on 8 people). Not the relaxing morning drinking mimosas I had in mind, and I know half of my bridesmaids ended up sneaking into the bathroom to fix their hair and makeup blunders that should have been done by a professional we paid a lot of money to (i.e. applying smudged black liner under one eye and nothing under the other). By the last hour another team coming from another wedding pulled in; there were people setting up makeup all over the place, it was absolute chaos. I sat there for hours nervously staring at the clock with curls still pinned to the top of my head and was thrown in the chair at the last moment to have my makeup quickly applied. I didn't realize I was supposed to bring the tiny sample lipstick she handed me at the trial, so she didn't apply anything to my lips, and I had to send my friend racing to my house to get it. My curls were quickly brushed out as my photographer was reminding the team that we were well behind schedule. I had to ask to even have my veil placed as they were packing up ready to roll. My friend walked in with the lipstick sample just before the last guy left and he quickly slapped it on and rolled. I was hurried out the door, we did photos. I teared up, which ruined my foundation immediately, and had to be fixed by my sisters (who luckily had supplies there). We had an awesome ceremony, did all of our pictures, socialized for a few moments in the cocktail hour; I finally got a moment to walk inside and looked in the mirror for the first time and almost burst into tears. My hair was terrible! I mean a flat, frizzed out mess with a single teased out bump on the top of my head. I didn't know what to do; it looked so bad! Somebody was eventually able to find me a hair elastic and I spent the rest of my wedding with my hair in a side pony. I paid $400 for a frizzed out side pony! I could have done a better job doing my own hair that day, and it probably would have looked better and been a less stressful experience. We had such a special, awesome day with all of our friends and family, but I spent the entire day after the wedding in tears! As all of the photos started rolling in on Facebook I realized how terrible my hair looked the entire day! I was so upset! My cherished photos from one of the most important days of my life looked horrible! That's just something you can't get back. I understand mistakes happen, and at the end of the day it's not about the hair, but when you pay a lot of money for a service, you should get what you paid for. Nobody ever apologized for the mistake made, no money was reimbursed (for the extra stylist) and at this point I'm really hesitant to print any photos of my wedding day. read more

We had a big group setup to get makeup and hair done by LoLa Beauty ATX. They were always early and set up so no one had to wait around. Not only was everyone beyond impressed with the services, but also the quality. Not a single product was used with already used brushes or other face products. Everything was treated so hygienic which is something you rarely see in this industry anymore. All the staff were so friendly, took their time, listened and addressed any concerns, and sent every client away with a finished product that put a gorgeous smile on their faces! Will definitely be recommending this company to others. Thanks so much, services done in November 2018. read more

Lauren and Lorena are two of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. I was picky about my hair and makeup, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied! I only paid for Lauren to come and to me and my bridesmaids hair and makeup, but LoLa was concerned that we would be crunched for time--so Lorena came too and no extra charge! Ariel and Joseph are a bride's DREAM TEAM. First off, I want to mention that I was literally a nervous wreck on getting professional makeup done since I had never done something like that and I really wanted to look natural on my wedding day. I've seen so many brides over due it and their excuse is "oh it looks natural in pictures". Well ya. It may. But in my opinion...you are traumatizing your guests who get to see you in person with your face all caked up. So I swore I wouldn't do too much, and Joseph nailed the effortless look! God bless that guy. I was seriously annoying. I constantly was critiquing myself and telling him pointers on what I like and don't like. And he listened to it ALL and made any adjustments I wanted. He is a saint of a man for dealing with me. I looked my very best and I felt so confident thanks to him. I even took pictures outside in the heat and I was shocked that my makeup lasted all day after that without looking sweaty and oily since I already have oily skin. For my hair...well I was so nervous for that too. I was worried about it all really. I just didn't want to scare my soon to be hubby on the day we got married with a ton of face makeup and frizzy tight curls that made me look like a poodle. He would have run for the hills. And some hair dressers just can't curl hair. So I was worried about that with Ariel. But let me tell you...Ariel can do it ALL! Show her whatever picture you have of any braid, and she can do it and make it look effortless. I loved that she gave her opinion on what would look best on my girls and that she never over did anything. She is just so easy to talk to and so sweet! She posts some hair advice on her insta and she is always so kind when I ask her questions on there. Really both her and Joseph are. I have messaged both of them multiple times on what to use or how to do something and they are quick to respond and genuinely want to help. I could really rave about these two forever. But in conclusion to my extremely long post, if you want your bridesmaids and you to feel amazing on your big day, then ask for Ariel and Joseph at Lola Beauty in ATX. They are the best people to work with and they make the whole experience so fun and wonderful. I will continue to use them throughout the years, since I will probably force my family to do yearly photos or something. I'll need an excuse every now and then to feel as awesome as I did on my wedding day! read more

I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and these girls are AMAZING. I had pinterest pics, but really I just went with whatever she recommended and I got many compliments. I didn't looked washed out and I still looked like myself---but better and very "modern" as I had requested. They did an awesome up-do so quickly and even made time for a girl who wasn't originally having her make up done. They are fun to chat with-have some great stories and I hope to hire them if I ever tie the knot or need make up done again. My fake lashes lasted a whole day too (bonus!) read more

I cannot say enough good things about Lola beauty particularly Tanya who was my makeup artist. My wedding was a fusion wedding and it was challenging because we had to switch 3 different looks within 24 hours with tight turnaround times. Tanya was efficient professional and beyond great at her job. She could duplicate any makeup look for a picture. Lola beauty as a business itself is amazing.... the morning of the weddinf the second makeup artist called in sick so the owner herself came to do my mom and sisters makeup. Tanya is the real deal and I'm so fortunate to have found her. She made me feel confident and happy on my big day and I could not be more grateful. read more

Lauren and her team (two other gals who work with her) came to the Omni Hotel to do bridal makeup and hair for my friend who was getting married, her six bridesmaids, and an assortment of family members and others who wanted to look pretty for the wedding. LoLa doesn't currently have a brick-and-mortar studio as they are a mobile service provider and travel to wedding venues and other locations for special events (though Lauren mentioned they might be adding a studio in the near future for photo shoots). First of all, they couldn't have been nicer. They all three were super cute, personable, professional and a lot of fun to spend four hours with. They did my hair exactly how I wanted---even though I wasn't entirely sure what that was going into them. Ditto to the makeup. I rarely wear makeup so was nervous it would come off looking as I was entering a pageant, but Lauren made me up in a way that was natural while still putting on enough makeup that would last a 14-hour day. I wish I could get her to do my makeup every day--I might start to wear some if that were the case! And the bride's hair! OMG, it was gorgeous. She has hair on the finer side so bought extensions that Lauren and her team put in and then trimmed, and then turned into a work of hair art. I would HIGHLY recommend this team of awesome ladies for any hair/makeup needs! read more

Great work, great women! I was lucky enough to have both Lauren and Lorena style me and my wedding party this past March. I have been a bridesmaid in A LOT of weddings. A lot. And I've never been in one where every single girl LOVES their hair. There's always someone in the bathroom trying to fix the situation on their head and saying "oh, well, it's not my day". That was absolutely NOT the case with Lauren and her team. EVERY SINGLE ONE of my bridesmaids LOVED their hair!! And for me, it was more than I ever could have imagined. I did my trial a couple weeks before the wedding and had only a few ideas for how I wanted it to look. Lauren crafted the most amazing updo that made me feel like a rockstar but most importantly myself. My hair stayed all night and looked flawless. She is the sweetest and her whole team was so easy to work with. Day of they were fast, fun, and reasonable. Don't hesitate to book this team!! read more

My hair and make-up were LITERALLY PERFECTION for my wedding, and I am eternally grateful to Luna at LoLa Beauty for that!!! I was originally booked with Lorena, one of the co-owners of the company, and had had a trial already. She was awesome, but due to her schedule (and I think an alignment of the stars), there was a last minute change and I was placed in the hands of Luna. Let me tell you, Luna has IT. There are some things that can't be taught, especially in the "artistic" vocations, and Luna has that intuition and talent. I brought photos of make up and hair that I liked, and she knew exactly how to tailor it to MY face and hair. I was so worried about my wedding look due to the last minute change and am particular about the way my eyes and eyebrows are done. But Luna listened well to my likes and dislikes and made minor adjustments based off them. She kept on reassuring me not to question or judge individual areas until the final look was put together, and holy crap was she right!! My make-up and hair ended up being EXACTLY what I envisioned; I didn't know it could be achieved and that I could look like that!! My mom was also so impressed (which is not easy, let me tell you). My friends could not stop commenting on how flawless my make-up and hair were, and it lasted aaaaallll day and night (12 hours!), even in the mist. Every women wants to look the most beautiful she's ever been on her wedding day, and that is how I felt. I had never been more excited about posing for photos in my life haha. Do yourself a favor and book with LoLa Beauty, and especially with Luna if you are lucky enough to get into her schedule!!! read more

This review is so overdue it's embarrassing! My wedding was quickly approaching and I still hadn't found a hair and makeup artist. Many companies were non-responsive and I even had one company tell me a party (7 girls) our size wasn't worth their time. Not exactly how I envisioned being pampered on my wedding day. And then I found Lola Beauty. I contacted them a few weeks before my wedding-cutting it too close but they were able to accommodate me and my girls. They were so quick to respond and so friendly but I was nervous about getting my hair and makeup done because I've had it done in the last but never liked it. Lauren and I set up a trial and all of my fears disappeared in no time as Lauren listened intently to my vision and executed it perfectly! She made the whole experience so fun. When my wedding day rolled around on June 7, 2014, I knew me and my girls were in great hands. Lauren and her assistant were the ultimate professionals but they made us feel so at ease and truly feel pampered. Each girl had a different style and I wanted that to be represented on the day of and they nailed it! It was hot and muggy and we danced our faces off but our hair and makeup still looked incredible at the end of the night! The entire process was easy (and as a stressed out bride I so appreciated that) and their prices are fanastic for the incredible quality of work. I felt like such a princess on my special day and I can't thank Lauren and the Lola Team enough! read more

Penny and Paige were amazing ! Super detailed oriented and truly cared! So blessed to have worked with these ladies !

My hair and makeup for my wedding was everything I had hoped and dreamed! I highly recommend doing a trial session! My hair and makeup got even better the second time around after she was able to get a feel for my skin and hair. I love the way my pictures turned out, my makeup looks flawless, but not in the way that I look like I have any heavy bridal makeup on. I just simply looked my best on my wedding day and I was so happy with all the compliments I have received regarding my makeup and hair. I know my bridesmaids were all in love with their hair and non of them wanted to pay for makeup but after seeing my mom, sister, and I all getting ours done, every single one of them changed their minds and got the nine yards! We all looked so gorgeous and everyone's makeup help up the entire night and it was July!!!! Lauren and her team are so professional and just so good at what they do its really cool! Lauren and her team did makeup and hair for over 13 attendants at my wedding and she was outstanding! Everyone looked perfect and we all received compliments throughout the night of how well everything held and looked. Lauren & Kendall are amazing! They did my bridal hair & makeup as well as my three bridesmaids, mother, and two aunts. We were all blown away! Lauren & Kendall were on time and had incredible time management. They even had time to re-do the hair of two of my bridesmaids who steamed their dresses in a closet and their hair styles got a little loose from the steam. All of my bridesmaids wear very little makeup in their day-to-day lives and Lauren and Kendall were so great at doing light makeup on them that made them feel comfortable but also was enough to translate into photos. Every girl look stunning and feel that way too! I have only had my hair and makeup done professionally once and I was so impressed with Kendall and Lauren. Lauren brought my vision to life for my bridal hair and even wove fresh flowers in which was stunning! She really listened to what I was hoping to achieve for my makeup and hit it out of the park! My aunts were both on the fence of whether getting their hair and makeup would be worth it for them since they are particular. Both of them were raving about how much they LOVED their hair and makeup and even bought some of the products Lauren and Kendall used on them afterwards. My mom's hair even looked gorgeous for two days after the wedding. Our styles stayed in all night and our makeup didn't move at all even after crying during each other's speeches. I couldn't have felt anymore beautiful on my wedding day thanks to LoLa Beauty and Kendall and Lauren. Thank you both for making my special day! read more

Three wks ago I had the experience of having LoLa Beauty do my hair and makeup for a wedding. When I got to the venue, my hair was a bit damp. I had washed it hrs before and had it in a pony tail, so when I took it out, there were some slightly damp spots. They acted like it was a big deal, didn't even touch it to see how damp it was, and just told me I'd have to wait til it dried. (Between two hair stylists, neither had a hair dryer.) When I suggest they put it on their list of do's and don'ts before showing up, Lauren said rudely, "Oh no, girlfriend- it is on there. Big capital letters, DRY CLEAN hair." It was rude and embarrassing to say the least. I didn't say anything to her because I didn't want to cause drama in front of the bride, but I checked the word document that the whole party had received to see if maybe I had missed it. I hadn't. It says make sure your hair is clean, nothing about being dry. Also, as honest advice for Lauren, who introduced herself and the other hairstylist as business partners and owners of the company- I'm not your girlfriend. I'm your client/customer. I wouldn't have to pay one of my girlfriends 160 to do my hair, so you may want to try to be more professional. I will say the makeup artist whose name I didn't get (neither Lauren or Lorena) was sweet, quick, efficient, and the finished faces were AMAZING. Also, there was one woman in the party who wasn't excited how her hair turned out but didn't know exactly what she wanted differently- and both Lauren and Lorena kind of gave a "Well I don't know what she wants or expects.." kind of response. I thought surely if this is their profession and they seem to stay busy, they are used to being flexible and showing clients other options or working to make them happy with their style. If these two situations had been handled better I would have given a much better review and would be willing to suggest to friends getting married or needing this service to use this company. Hopefully these two business partners can learn to better communicate with their clients. The attitude is just not necessary. Edited to Add: It would have been nice to have a little swab of the lipstick used for touching up throughout the event. read more

Wow! Where do I start. My daughter got married this past weekend, had chosen LoLa beauty for her hair and makeup, as well as for her bridal entourage. Words cannot express the absolutely fantastic job Lorena and Lauren did!!! They were as professional as they were talented (so I cannot understand the few critical reviews!) Everyone that had their hair and makeup done said it was the best ever, and the parents and guests agreed. The wedding was a somewhat sophisticated affair, and it would not have been if LoLa Beauty had not been there. They were the icing on the cake. I really do believe that you get what you pay for, and that is why they have won the Austin award 4 years in a row. read more

LoLa Beauty was everything I dreamed of. Tanya did my hair and makeup for my trial and my wedding day. She is so extremely talented and I was over the moon excited about her work. She was so sweet and professional. She made me feel comfortable and BEAUTIFUL! I showed her pictures of both the hair and makeup look I was going for, and she executed them perfectly. She gave me recommendations and tips. I gave her some artistic freedom since she is the expert, and I was just so happy with the result. My wedding day is the prettiest I have ever felt, which is what I know brides want. People kept telling me- "You look flawless!" Tanya also did makeup for all of my bridesmaids, and she had a partner, Paige, who did all of their hair. My bridesmaids were equally as happy with their results. I will say LoLa Beauty is on the more expensive side. I almost did not pick them because of the price, but I am so so happy that I did. Now that my wedding is over, and I'm reflecting on all of it, I feel that the money spent on this vendor was 100% worth every penny. You get what you pay for, and I could not have expected more from a hair/makeup vendor. If you choose them, it's an investment, but you will not be disappointed. read more

I hired Lauren to do my wedding hair and make up after a trial run six months before my wedding. She did an amazing job at the trial and was so fun and sweet, I thought she'd be the perfect person to have around on my wedding day. I did a second "trial" with her because I had engagement photos and wanted to look good and was equally pleased with the results. I also hired her to do hair and make up for my six bridesmaids, two mothers, and then I asked guests if they'd like to use her team since many of our guests were in from out of town. After all was said and done, Lauren and two teammates (Daniella and Kaitlin, I think) were at our hotel doing hair and make up from 9am until 4pm, pretty much non-stop, on 14 people total and everyone loved them! They did such a good job tailoring each girl's look to their requests, and the hair was straight out of pinterest, rather than some kind of 80s bridesmaids do (come on, you know you've seen it). I would definitely recommend Team Lola to anyone looking for quality modern hair and make up. read more

One of my best friends booked Lauren and her team for my wedding (3/27/15). I could not have be HAPPIER! I loved the way she made my hair and makeup look! I didn't even want to wash my face or put my hair up by the end of the night. I am not an easy person to work on since I talk a lot and am very animated, but Lauren still did an awesome job and it seemed to go by fast. Even my pickiest and most demanding bridesmaid loved her hair and makeup! I also changed my mind on what I wanted done with my hair and she had no problems-- she knew exactly what I wanted!
