I've been to Hai Di Lao at Santa Anita several times now, and it continues to be one of my favorite dining experiences. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh, from the meats to the vegetables, and you can really taste the quality. Hot pot is definitely a meal you should set aside time for, but that's part of the fun! The restaurant has such a lively, energetic atmosphere that you honestly lose track of time while enjoying your meal. This was actually the first visit where something went a little wrong, they accidentally forgot to bring one of our items, and before we realized it, we were being rushed with the check. But as soon as we mentioned it, the staff immediately apologized, corrected the mistake, and went above and beyond to make it right. Everyone was so kind and genuinely apologetic that it completely turned the situation around. No restaurant is perfect 100% of the time, and what really matters is how they handle the rare mistake. Hai Di Lao proved once again why it deserves five stars. Amazing food, fresh ingredients, wonderful service, and a fun dining experience every single time. I'll absolutely keep coming back! Highly recommend this spot for everyone as well!

I really could eat this for the rest of my life and be okay. They still have great quality meat and vegetables. I don't like the seafood much cause it's kinda flavorless frozen seafood, and aside from the shrimp, every time I order some form of seafood I regret it. Kitty is a fantastic server, very attentive and helpful, and she was working her tail off yesterday. The service is generally good but the kitchen has been rough the last couple of times. We had missing items this last time, and we legitimately waited almost 50 minutes for the majority of our dishes the time before that. This was around 3:30pm on a weekday so maybe only one person was working or something.

First timers here. We were supposed to try their lunch all you can eat but when we arrived we were told that we only had like 30 mins to order, eat and pay. We were a party of 6 with 3 adults and 3 kids. And my 5 year old and 10 year old was already considered adult price. My kids don't really eat hot pot but I wanted them to try it but not for adult price. We ended up getting the one meat lunch special since we were short on time for the ayce. Then when our server was explaining everything to us, all I hear is it's extra for everything even the sauce for each person. It's kinda ridiculous. The decor was really nice. We gave it a chance but the food was eh. The broth was really plain compare to other hot pot places. And the meat was not enough. Although the kids did enjoyed the noodles. Other than that it was mid. I would rather go to Broth in Cerritos.

Don't go to this restaurant, ad scam promotion on internet. It is ad scam. For $24.99, you can get 1 choice of meat from 5 to choose. FOR $19.99, You get 1 choice of meat from 3 kind of meats to choose. So you get only one plate of meat about10 thin slices, chicken or beef or pork belly, and a small bowl of vegetable, and one can of coke or sprite, if you take some soy sauce or sesame paste from the sauce bar, they charge $3.99 per person on your table. I think it's a scam, for I and my family have been charged $3.99 per person. Otherwise, you don't even have soy sauce if you don't pay $3.99

I've never had hot pot but want to try. Is this something I can have delivered or even picked up? Or is it a dine-in only experience? This is not my culture & people are often rude when you try to explore other cultures. I'd like to try AND be safe.

They have many classic Chinese dishes at a truly affordable price point. The food: We ordered four different dishes: green beans (v), stir fried egg plants (v), mapo tofu (v), and chicken with rice. For the first three dishes, we clarified with the owner to make this vegetarian (also vegan), which she was able to do very easily and without question. We communicated with her in Chinese, but she also spoke English to us, when we discovered that our Chinese was likely not as fluent as native speakers. Everything was flavorful, without relying on just an overwhelming amount of salt, and we really enjoyed the green beans that seemed to be cooked in fermented bean paste. I found the eggplants particularly tasty too! The service: This small store had so much business, so we did spend some time waiting before we could actually order our meal. The restaurant itself was filled with folks dining in, and there were multiple parties waiting for take out. Even so, once we did order our meal, it didn't take too long for all four dishes to come out. For these reasons, I can't say service was particularly attentive, but they were still polite and I felt like they did try to make it a good experience for us, even if it was so busy. Everything else: They accept credit card with a small surcharge. Parking exists, but during dinner time on a Friday, expect it to be full and very cramped.

Served bubbling hot beneath a generous layer of browned, melted cheese, it developed an irresistible toasted, savory crust that elevated every bite. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly al dente, providing just the right amount of bite, while the rich, hearty Bolognese sauce coated each strand beautifully. Accompanied by crisp, buttery garlic bread and an impressively generous portion, this comforting classic easily stands out as the restaurant's signature dish. Despite its unremarkable service, Arcadia Garden Cafe shines where it matters most--the food. If you're willing to overlook the slower pace, it's easy to see why the restaurant has remained a local staple for so many years.

It was 6 of us and we get seated at the large round table in the middle of the restaurant. The menu is HUGE but me, my sister, and my uncle will usually order the grilled chicken and pork dish. My aunt usually gets a noodle dish such as the beef chow fun this time. My son got a meat sauce pasta with fries. We also got Thai tea which is refillable. My dad unfortunately didn't know what to get but he ultimately decided on the hainan chicken. The waiter confirmed 3 of the same dishes and we confirmed. The food came but mine didn't and it seemed the waiter only put in 2 orders. Therefore, I had to wait but my uncle shared half his pork and chicken with me because it was a lot for him. Good thing they didn't put on my order because i wanted pasta and not rice and my sister and uncle asked for rice, so good thing i got mine after with mushroom sauce (black pepper sauce is surprisingly too spicy for me). I love the mixed vegetables, but sure what makes it good since it's just bland zucchini, peas, green beans, carrots, and corn. But goes so well with the dish. The mash potatoes were also good...I loved everything tbh... My sister and I each got a refill on our drink and I felt a weird aura from the start so u didn't ask for another. We had so much leftover since I ate most of my uncles dish and he barely ate but I'm so happy they still had great portions.

Luscious Dumplings gave us another amazing dining experience! It had been about a year since the…read morelast time we ate here. We came in recently to redeem our SGV Food Passport for 1 order of the mixed pan fried dumplings. The parking is typically not bad around the evening time. The location is always busy and sometimes 80% full. They have maybe 8-10 tables inside. We came in and were seated quickly the staff was awesome she explained everything about our SGV redemption and we orders some XLB dumplings as well. We both redeemed our deals as ended up with 20 free pan fried dumplings. We got to try 4 types of the pan fried plates. We ate the chicken, shrimp & cabbage, fish and pork. These are some of BEST pan fried dumplings in the SGV. These tasted even better than the first time we came here. I'm happy they still deliver on quality of food and quality of service! Thanks again, Luscious Dumplings!

The broth is delicate but packs a mean punch of flavor, no restaurant has come close to a balance as good as this. If you have been to the OG luscious or one one dumpling, this is the exact same. - Pan Fried Pork Dumpling 13.5 The skin is thick and fried to caramelized heaven. I would say if you want a hefty dumpling this is the place. If you remember the original location, the dumplings taste similar but not fried as well. Still one of the best spots around. - Pork XLB 13.5 One of the dishes you just have to get when eating taiwanese beef noodle soup. No notes, a great XLB with thin skin that doesn't break easily! If you have never been here, you have to come. The chili oil is my sister's favorite that she buys a bottle every time we visit. My brother in law has me order take out every time I visit him in the bay, this place is truly that good. Ambiance isn't great but thats not the reason why this place is amazing, the emphasis is on the food. Bathroom rating is 4 stars, decent enough to use. Not much interaction with staff, you order with QR Code.

So happy to see more Xi'an food popping up around SGV, especially when it's done this well. As…read moresomeone born and raised in Xi'an, the flavors here felt genuinely authentic, and I already know I'll be back. We ordered the Youpo Noodles with Beef Brisket, Marinated Beef Sandwich, and Cumin Lamb Sandwich. The marinated beef sandwich was the standout. They absolutely nailed the execution, from the tender, flavorful meat to the texture of the bread. I would come back for this alone. It immediately took me back to eating rou jia mo from a street cart while walking around Xi'an, which is about the highest compliment I can give it. The noodles were freshly handmade, wonderfully springy, and completely soaked with flavor. The beef brisket made them even more satisfying. The cumin lamb sandwich was the only item I felt slightly on the fence about. The filling was good, but I personally wanted a little more seasoning and a stronger cumin flavor. The interior is spacious and clean, service was fast and painless, and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Such a great addition to Arcadia and easily one of the better Xi'an spots I've tried in the area.

XiAn Foodie 李老三 serves food that is not only delicious, but authentic and full of soul. The handmade noodles were impressive. perfectly chewy and springy, soaking up the rich sauce. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying! The lamb skewers, beef skewers, beef shank noodles, lamb & carrot dumplings, and oil-splashed noodles are all highly recommended. Everything was tender, aromatic, and clearly prepared with great care and attention to flavor and ingredients. Spice lovers will definitely be happy here, but even if you normally don't eat spicy food, you'll still find yourself going back for bite after bite. The restaurant itself is simple yet elegant, clean, and comfortable, with the warm feeling of a beloved local spot. The service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly, creating a relaxed and welcoming dining experience. Especially after a long day, having a hot bowl of their oil-splashed noodles feels genuinely comforting. If you enjoy unique Xi'an cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You can taste that the flavors have not been overly adjusted just to appeal to the masses. Instead, the restaurant preserves the authentic spirit, warmth, and bold flavors of traditional Xi'an cooking.
