Was so pleased with this restaurant! It's located down an alley, seemingly only known to locals which was nice. One of my friends has a gluten allergy so we were on the hunt for an eatery with gluten-friendly options. Habanita was so great and even had a gluten free menu! It was also vegetarian and vegan friendly, so I'd recommend it for any dietary restricted eaters. There is both indoor and outdoor seating here and the lighting is a bit dim so good for an intimate setting. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and offers suggestions whenever asked. The sangria was delicious, but I hear to order the mojito. The food kind of borders Central American/Caribbean dining. For our main course, we ordered fried plantains, rice & beans, minced chicken, arepas, and gluten free lasagna. Everything was amazing, particularly the arepas and lasagna. We were also given complimentary shots at the end of the meal, so that was a lovely surprise to start our night out! All in all, awesome experience and I'd highly recommend stopping by if you're in town!

Came with friends on a short visit to Sevilla. One of my friends is pescatarian but prefers to eat vegetarian and we've been having issues finding variety of veggie options in Spain. This place was amazing. We had an incredible eggplant dish, spinach lasagna, dried tomato croquetas (and then revuelto de jamón for the meat eaters). The water was free which is not usual in Spain and cheap bread for the table. The atmosphere was lovely in a hidden back corner of Sevilla's center and the waiters were very nice and attentive. I'm in Sevilla about once a month so while my friends are returning home, I'll definitely be back.

Croquetas Veganas and French fries

I was looking for vegan/vegetarian food and I stumbled on this place for lunch. I asked the owner what he recommended and he suggested the Croquetas Veganas. They were wonderful. A taste fairly foreign to me but delicious. They are fried and crispy and melt in your mouth.

Unassuming decor but tasty vegan and vegetarian food (along with meat options, which we did not try). Quick service. Recommend!

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. We sat at the bar and I was able to practice my Spanish with the bartender. The ham was a generous portion and I loved watching them cut it behind the bar! Very fun and old establishment-y vibes. Wish we could've tried more on the menu if we didn't have other plans!

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

The best food I had in all of Seville.. stopped by this place for late dinner during my recent trip…read moreto Seville and this place did not disappoint. We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered their sangria and tinto de verano. Every dish we ordered was AMAZING - tasty flavorful well seasoned melt in your mouth meat bursting with flavors. We devoured every bite and it was hard to pick a favorite. Both the lamb and pork dishes were 11/10. Not just the taste but the presentation of every tapa was fantastic. Their drinks were also great. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. Since we walked in around 11pm, we got a seat and were well taken care of all thru the night. Also noticed alot of veggie options on the menu which was great. Service was awesome ambience is chic. I am certain I am going to crave their tapas once I am back home. Highly highly recommend this place when in Seville.

Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.

I was absolutely blown away by the texture and quality of the "chicken." I also enjoyed talking to our server, who was super friendly and even told me how they make the "chicken" look and taste so authentic. For dessert I had the cerveza negra cake, and had a hard time believing it was actually vegan! That cream frosting would have even the most professional bakers fooled! The only downside is that they make large batches of the food each day and once customers order it all, they run out for the day and don't offer more. There were quite a few items on the menu that had run out by mid afternoon, so if you want to go, definitely go for early lunch!

We ordered the castillas (ribs) de seitan, the Vegan Chorizo & the Seitan con salsa porcini. We loved the chewy texture of the seitan castillas & the BBQ sauce served with it was really good. The Seitan porcini was worth ordering for the sauce alone. The Chorizo was really disappointing & a fairly small portion for the money. The other week we returned & ordered the super Mauser burger. We were really excited by the Jack Daniels sauce, which was disappointingly lacking.. The burger was really poorly presented too, with a cheap bun, a large lettuce leaf, slice of tomato & some red onion accompanying the seitan burger. I really want to give this place four stars for the good dishes (as well as for being a purely vegan bar) but the lacklustre other dishes drag it down to @ 3* rating
