I own nine restaurants in California I hate to put a better review on a restaurant ,but I think I have an obligation and express my frustration after tthis experience at this restaurant tonight, I travel to Spain, which so far I love everything about it. I eat many different restaurants because I'm love to see what's the culinary experience
on other place of the world, we came to this establishment recommended by the concierge from the hotel and good expectations, the location is phenomenal. The restaurant look really nice., Starting with the hostess as we arrive, they couldn't find a reservation that I witness my concierge call on front of me, we wait 30 minutes for a available Table finally with seating outside with a nice view, so far enjoyable, server took 30 minutes to arrive to the table ask if we know what we wanna drink, I ask that would be helpful. If he can give us a wine list, after 20 minutes we receive the wine I order, server open and drop at the table without even give me a test. Ask me if I was OK with the wine, he never come back to refill glass once, we also order a mineral ,water 20 minutes after the wine arrive I ask if the water it was in his way, most likely he forgot, he bring the water ,same thing drop in the table like will happen a Tavern, but not in an upscale restaurant !
we have to pour water and wine ourselves for the rest of the night, I'm still trying to get clue of what's going on with the server and I'm trying to be understanding because It's an older man and I'm sure. He's trying his best but once a star give me attitude after I ask for a lemon for my fish and he brought me slice of lemon and just wondering how I supposed to squeeze the slice of lemons on my fish so I ask for quarters or a lemon at that point I see it very frustrated and say I will go and look for another lemon, the poor guy, which I feel sorry for had a no clue what's going on with three tables. It was going around look busy because it was so confused, at the end of the dinner I'm still very patient and I asked for an espresso and for the Bill, another 30 minutes pass, and it's chatting with the table next to me another couple having dinner that apparently satisfied with a poor service, the server tell this couple couple two feet away from my table. That was a pleasure to work with people like them and no with people that complaining. All the time, look at me and made it a face remark. At that point, my patient completely went away went to look for somebody in front to pay my bill and leave. I never get my espresso and a lady that I believe she was the manager of the restaurant. She asked me what happened. I didn't wanna go on and on so I just said Service wasn't on point and I need to leave, again never complain about any restaurant i dine and I do visit 2 to 3 different restaurants per week with my wife., but this was something else, I'm sure this restaurant doesn't care about any bad review like I see. I'm not the first one complaining about the service,
but I have the obligation to tell whoever owns this restaurant to really figure out what's going on with the service, food is acceptable. We could have enjoyable night with a good service, but didn't happen. read more
