I booked my appt ahead of time for myself and one of my friends as a birthday gift outing, there were no issues being able to schedule both at the same time which was really nice that way we didn't have to wait for each other to finish. Parking is out front, the spa is tucked in the corner of the plaza with a quiet calm indoor setting. Loved the foliage decor hanging from the ceiling. The spa room was clean, professional, & ready for us upon arrival. We both received the beginner hair head care since it was my friends first time and over a year since I last went. The service was amazing, total relaxation and such a nice calming vibe. Seeing the zoomed in view of my scalp with their special camera is always so cool to see. I'm able to adjust my hair wash routine per their recommendations so that's helpful too!! The massage was a relaxing, with the hair scan and the hair care happening afterwards. Everything was wonderful, my hair felt so light leaving the spa. The head massage, scrubbing, was fantastic and the products smelled so nice. I'm over due for a hair cut but wanted to come here first to get my hair deep cleaned and wow, I feel brand new. I can tell my hair & scalp gets healthier after every visit because I can see what my scalp health is like and make life adjustments. This has helped my hair growing long and strong. The scalp images they show you are real. My sister barely had any buildup, and mine had hella LOL which totally checks out since she actually takes care of her scalp and I... don't lol. I could definitely feel the difference after the appointment. Normally my scalp feels itchy/oily the day after washing, but I didn't feel the need to wash my hair again until two days later. Each room is private and only fits one person. I did the beginner head care, which starts with a back massage over a thin blanket. Definitely come without jewelry. They also massage your arms a bit. After a while, it turns into skin-to-skin massage, so your top will be off. They lift the blanket to cover their eyes (lol) while you flip over before washing your hair. The hair wash itself was amazing. The back-and-forth motion with what felt like a brush felt sooo good. I didn't realize you could be that rough with your scalp (in a good way). My only small wish was more neck massage, but overall it was such a great experience that it actually got me thinking about their membership. This location seems a bit easier to book an appt online. My friend was able to find an opening for 2 for the same time (a month out) which makes for a great pamper day. I tend to hold most my tension in my face, head, neck, shoulders so I was really looking forward to a relaxing scalp treatment with massage. As another reviewer noted the description is a little misleading as it notes a massage with your treatment. It starts off with a very light, 5 min upper body massage and well...that was it! Hmm can't say it was beneficial as it was so quick...Next, was a wand scan of my scalp (shown on a monitor) showing I was oily with a recommendation of a double wash with a hair moisturizing mask. The treatment was very relaxing that I fell asleep while my therapist massaged my temples, lightly scrubbed my scalp and used their special rinsing contraption while you're zen-ing. Overall, a wonderful experience and would recommend the basic or intermediate treatment for your first visit. I can't say they customize based on your needs as my friend and I compared notes from our treatment and it seemed she got a double wash as well even after being told she had a dry scalp...not sure if they used different cleansers/shampoos...hmmm. Made an appointment for my mom and I to experience the beginner head care. I booked about two months in advance because this place is so popular! You can sometimes get lucky with last minute cancellations though. They have two treatment rooms, so while I was able to get my mom and I the same appointment time, we were in separate rooms. The outside is pretty unassuming and in a plaza, but the inside is neat and modern-looking. For my treatment I had CC: -started with a back massage (you will have to remove all your upper body clothing for the entire treatment) -she took pictures of my scalp and explained to me what she saw (I appreciated her saying that the beginner treatment was enough for my scalp needs! Felt nice that she wasn't pushing for me to spend more) -after pictures, she did a deep wash of my hair, used various tools on my scalp, scalp massage, did a neck/shoulder massage, steamed my hair -she showed me after pictures of my scalp -ended with her blow drying my hair and applying olaplex products! -she went 20min over the time even though I was 10min late! I was able to make an appointment online the week before without needing a credit card to book it. The appointment day was on a Monday. It allows you to cancel the day of, if necessary. The place is totally hidden in a very small residential neighborhood plaza. There is no way you'd know this place was there unless you know about it from somewhere like social media or by someone who knows about it. When you walk in, there are two seats next to the reception area which in itself is very small. There are only two rooms in this place. They are tandem with one long hallway and a bathroom in the back. I'm surprised it's not bigger, given this is the second location and the original H2O is very popular. Now for the service. From the beginning to end, the two ladies who were working were both very nice. I booked the beginner service as this was my first time. Note: first timers get 20% off! It comes with hair and scalp analysis (they use a camera to look at your scalp, hair, follicles) and a back, neck, and shoulder massage. They start with the back massage. I got almost fully undressed, but left my underwear on. Once that is done, they do the scalp and hair test. My person noticed that I have dry and red spots from my eczema, so she suggested the Special Scalp Care for persons with eczema/psoriasis. She was not pushy at all. She pulled out the service pamphlet to show me what it entails and that though it is $198, it would be 20% off because I'm a first time customer. I went for it and I did not regret it. Having my scalp scratched and massaged was so relaxing. She went over the hour time limit. She used the scalp camera during the treatment and afterward as well so I could really see the difference the treatment made. My hair looked so shiny, clean, and soft. Booking an appointment was super easy; the one flaw IMO was not having the option to choose the staff. When you book online, you're given the option of "Employee 1" or "Employee 2". Parking was easy as there's a private lot. I booked the beginner headcare service, but after doing my scalp evaluation, Na-na suggested the special scalp hair treatment, which included everything in the beginner headcare service in addition to a Chinese herb hair washing (focuses more on scalp deep cleansing). The service starts with a short back massage and the overall treatment was very relaxing. The before and after was evident. The treatment ended with Na-na blow drying my hair and applying Olaplex No. 6 (bond smoother, decreases blow dry time, and helps with frizz) and Olaplex No. 7 (bonding oil and boosts shine). I had booked a beginner headcare appointment but after doing my scalp evaluation, Gosia suggested the special scalp hair treatment instead, as it came with a Chinese herb hair washing which would help with the oil and dead skin buildup I had. The before and after was a stark difference - my hair was so clean and healthy after going through the treatment and Gosia had neutralized the red patches on my scalp using a red light electrode. They will even take care of the blow dry after your service so you don't have to lift a finger. Updating stars to 2. A month or so have passed and my scalp actually has dandruff now (confirmed by my hair dresser). When I went originally my hair definitely had build up and I had minor dry scalp but never dandruff or psoriasis. The "Special" treatment did something to my scalp. This place is really a hidden gem; not super visible from the street but easy to get to and tons of parking. I got there a little early but didn't have to wait at all to be taken back to my cozy room. Stella did my scalp care and massage and she took amazing care of me. She checked in often about pressure and temperature to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I've always struggled with a dry and itchy scalp. No surprise when I came here and they showed me my scalp under the camera it was flakey and had buildup. A friend and I went for an appointment together to try this out. We were lured in by the reviews and the description of services that included massage. The place is easy to find with parking available. The business is smaller inside, but enough space for service provided. One bathroom for all. The service began laying on your stomach and a 5 minute back massage. Literally 5 minutes, maybe less. HA! It was okay, but honestly, advertising for this with the service is a bit misleading. Then you lay on your back and the esthetician started by using a tool to show you if there was build-up around you hair follicles. I had minimal and my scalp looked great. Then a wire handlheld device is used for a simple scalp massage (this tool can be bought anywhere for this type of thing) and honestly, while it didn't last more than 1-2 minutes, the best part of the entire service. Next, was a shampoo added to your scalp and the esthetician massaged this in using firm pressure from her nails and fingers. This felt nice. Next, a tool (felt like a wooden comb) was used to scrape at the scalp as she sectioned my hair apart. This was to remove any build-up around hair follicles or even if you have scalp issues, would definitely scrape dead skin off. This took the majority of the 1 hour service. Shampoo was rinsed and then a deep conditioning mask was applied. Hair was covered with a camp and this sat on my hair for probably 5-10 minutes. This was then rinsed and my hair was towel dried. I was told to put my clothes back on (only had upper clothing off) and to wait as the esthetician would be back. I sat in a chair and she blew my hair dry. I have short hair, so I would've preferred to dry my hair myself so I could have some style before I left. It was okay, I'm not local, so really didn't mind who saw me afterwards. My hair so incredibly soft and flat as can be. HA! The type of soft that if you touched it, it would become immediately staticky. I received the advertised Intermediate service for $150. I got a 20% discount (I believe for being a first time customer) and then I added tip. Unless you have hair and scalp issues, I would say this is a great once a year type of thing. Interestingly, my friend and I were talking about our services. My esthetician asked how frequently I washed and dried my hair. I told her I shower and wash my hair daily and blow dry my hair daily. She told me this is exellent as both are great for hair and scalp. My friend told her esthetician that she washes her hair every 3 days and doesn't usually blow dry....her esthetician also told her that was great because that's what was best for hair too. HA! All in all, not a bad service, but I think it's a bit overpriced and descriptions overexaggerated. First off let me start by saying Gosia is the best! She made me feel so comfortable and was so nice. As for the treatment, I chose the special scalp treatment because of my psoriasis. You start with a back massage. Then you switch to the scalp treatment end of the bed. She uses a microscope camera to see the scalp before and after the treatment. She put an eye mask on me and washed my hair. Water was not too hot which is nice. She gives you another neck and shoulder massage. The Chinese herbs she soaked my scalp in smells like a top ramen seasoning packet lol. Then she removed my psoriasis which was not painful at all, actually felt good. Then she washed my hair again with Olaplex and used an electrode wand. The Spa music was very relaxing. Everything was very clean. You also get 20% off your first time!
