I have been going to Dream Skin for many years now - I highly recommend this place. The staff here are wonderful & friendly and the place is super clean and well kept. The owner, Ming, is always responsive via text + calls and super flexible with appointments as well. She is knowledgeable with skin and has suggested ways to maintain healthy looking skin. My experience: 4/5 years ago I had adult painful cystic acne and it was all over my face. But after doing monthly facials at Dream Skin, my skin improved significantly and now I have little to no acne. Now I go to her place every single month to maintain healthy looking skin! Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. (I got the hydration treatment facial) The lady who did my facial was so sweet and would ask me questions to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. She would also explain the products and machines she'd use so that I would know what was going on, which I very much appreciated! I also asked questions to which she was knowledgeable and provided answers. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star experience was because I could hear the conversations happening outside in the hallways or near the entrance area. It was quite loud and kind of made the relaxation aspect feel a bit dull. I've been to many spas and the sound level is usually kept to a minimum, and some even enforcing no noise to help facilitate a relaxing ambience. Despite this, I still appreciated the facial and how it made my skin feel after. So yes, I would recommend for the facials, but just some caution around noise level outside the rooms. read more

Such a nice little salon! I had a great facial with Sophie. It was super hydrating, lasted 90 minutes, included a shoulder massage, steam, extractions, exfoliant, and a mask. She finished with toner and moisturizer and SPF. She was very sweet and the place is so clean and nicely decorated. You should go here! read more

I started coming here a few months ago. Ming is so professional, efficient, is passionate about her job and wants to make her clients happy. Her team is warm, welcoming, and the office is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Each time I go there I fall asleep. I have a facial package with Ming. If she sees that my skin needs a different type of treatment, she does it out of the goodness of her heart because she takes pride in her work. Ming does a fantastic job! She has been taking care of my brows (and cancelled or missed appointments) for the past month or so and I really like the work she does. It's inexpensive, in comparison to some of the high end spots I have been, close to work, close to home and she does a great job!!! I've been to see Carol for a facial twice and absolutely loved the experience. I have been to Nordstrom spa in the city for a facial and they do a wonderful job, but the price is a bit steep for a blue collar lad such as myself. Carol is very thorough and I love that about her. I've been to this place many moons ago and I forgot to review. It's okay. It's nice, quiet and clean. I have never heard of GM Collins before (products that she uses). Her door is always locked so it is best you make an appointment before you go. It's pretty standard for a hydration facial $75/90 minutes (I think). Easy parking. Very reasonably priced facials and Ming is very nice. I bought a package of 10 facials for $500 and go once a month. Facials last about 1.5 hrs-she leaves you alone for about half hour while you're in a mask. She gives a short shoulder, neck, and face massage. She is open 6 days a week and although she books quickly on Saturdays, I am usually able to get an appointment with her in a timely manner. I was 20 minutes late one time because my babysitter hit traffic and was running late. I called to let her know I was going to be late. When I arrived, she did not cut short my time. She still gave me a full facial. I appreciate that. read more

Ming Yiu owns and runs this place. I tried the hydrating facial that is either $60 each or $500 for a package of 10. You can also purchase a mini facial for only $35 as well as a full regular facial for $50. I was finished after 2 hours of pampering which included the nap that I took since the facial was so relaxing. Ming also included a nice massage while the steamer was doing its work on my skin. She takes her time getting all the extractions around my nose, more care than the lady Nancy down the street at Fontane. This place looks very clean and I saw her tools and sponge in the sterilizer machine which I much appreciated. At Fontane they didn't use sponges but tissue which doesn't feel as pleasant on the face. They probably don't want to deal with sterilizing. read more

I love Dream Skin! So as my prom was approaching, i felt it was time to get over my fear of eye brow waxing. I was always worried that it would come out horrible or that it would be extremely painful, but i was totally wrong! I went with my friend and I watched her go first, which made me feel a lot better. I have been going to this place for over 10 years for primary facial treatment. It feels like a relaxing spa each time I go in. The owner Ming is very good at doing facial, I have always purchase the facial package. Price may vary base on the type of facial you pick, it's typically good for 10 times. Ming has done laser treatment for my nasty skin tags after giving birth. I had 20 - 30 of them and she got them all :). I recently learn that she's very experience in doing eyebrow embroidery as well as eye lash perming. I wish I have known that because her price is much more reasonable than this other place I went to, and most importantly I trust Ming more than any other places. As for convenience, a lot of street parking are available. I would highly recommend this place for facial and other beauty service. read more

Ming is really nice and polite. The salon is very clean and soothing. I have gotten my eye lash perm there once and it turned out ok. I think when she asked me "natural lash" in my mind that might look like I didn't perm it, so I asked to curl it a bit more... and boy, I was wrong. It was definitely too curly for me. So when she asks you, natural curl?, you say: yes! I regularly get my waxing done here. She is so reasonable with her waxing charge. I am asian and don't have alot of hair, so for my legs I only get the bottom half waxed (knee down). I believe she charges $25 or $30. Which is still great! Saves me from weeks of shaving. I haven't gotten a chance to try her facial service, but hope that I'll get around to it this year. :D read more

I go here to get my eyelashes permed and think Ming does a great job! I've been to a few places in San Francisco and I feel that she does the best job. The perm lasts long and all the lashes are permed smoothly and consistent. The place is pretty clean too. And she is very nice. read more
