One thing that makes them stand out from other groceries is a big bulk section (think nuts, grains, candies, powders, and coffee beans with its own grinding station). Another is a massive vitamins and supplements area for holistic health fans. One of my favorite items to pick up is their turkey carnitas from the prepackaged deli food area; it's tender and flavorful when heated up and effortlessly works rice and sandwiches :) There's always a dedicated shelf near the produce area for new products that I always end up grabbing a few things from too (This time was a pistachio creme protein shake that actually was amazing!) Those that have shopped at Trader Joe's, knows that Trader Joe's got some really good product a very diverse variety of groceries. Me and my kids really enjoy there snack isle we always grab few bags of the white cheddar corn puffs and sour cream corn puffs. We also love their green tea lemonade and teas. We also like to get for lunch or dinner the spanakopita spinach and cheese pie the filo dough is so good! They have so many others things to name if you know you know! Also if you see there tote bags mini or big grab them they are very popular and good quality. I'm happy they opened up in the area!

The store has ample parking and is about the size of the other typical Trader Joe's stores I have been in, albeit some out in San Francisco were bigger and one had a first and second floor! I waited a month to go in, didn't want to fight crowds when it opened. I had to drop a package at the nearby UPS store so I just walked over and meandered through the store. Did I buy anything? This location in Atascocita was the first one I visited in Houston and found it to be very similar to the set-up in Chicagoland and Los Angeles that we frequent. Large chocolate bars seem to be another good-buy as well, with the Choco changer brand milk chocolate being especially good. I've heard of burgers at car washes but never burgers at a grocery store/laundromat. Yep, they own the laundromat next door too. I came mainly for the burger and jalapeno poppers, but sadly they no longer have the latter, not enough people ordered them. I simply ordered a burger basket with onion rings instead of fries, big mistake! The onion ring breading was so rock hard, it hurts my mouth when I tried to bite into them. The burger weighs in at about 1/3 pound and is pressed very thin. It resembles and tastes nearly identical to Whataburger, with exception of one important thing, they use fresh ground beef here. No surprise a lot of Yelpers mention Whataburger in their reviews. My patty was cooked medium, but they don't ask how you want it cooked. The burger normally comes with toasted bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard and mayo. I added sliced, pickled jalapenos for free at the suggestion of the lady taking my order. I also added a 500 mL Mexican Coke and the total came out to about $7. They also use American cheese, so I skipped that. As compared to Hippo burger, which I had to pass just to get here, I like the buns here more, since they hold up well. However, Hippo has a more flavorful beef patty, and it's thick which is my preference. Average service when placing my order, but the man at the cash register was very friendly and seemed like one of the owners. They don't have anywhere to sit down inside, so its definitely to-go only. Next time I come back, I'll try a double burger with fries.
