Brewery #402 Megaton Brewing is like the ultimate 40-year old's mancave. Beer, baseball and video games everywhere. More specifically Fallout and Roger Clemens dominate 2 of those categories. I tried 4 different beers, and I wouldn't say one dominated, but my favorite was the Stellarator imperial IPA. There is a big indoor area with lots of seating, video games to play and a stage for bands. There was also a covered area outside with lots of picnic tables. I don't believe they have a kitchen onsite (I didn't see one) but I assume they have food trucks as the large parking lot is set up for them. What a fun Fallout themed brewery! I checked out their site before coming to meet up with friends and saw that they frequently host events, although there were no events listed for that evening. Needless to say we were a bit surprised to enter the brewery to see strobe lights and a bass guitar duel-off followed by several other live musicians for the remainder of the night. We couldn't really hear each other with the live performers but the venue was cool, beers were interesting, and they had plenty of parking. They are dog and kid friendly (until 9:30 pm). read more

It's a nice Fallout theme bar that has board games to play. They don't serve food but they do have snacks and food trucks that are set up outside. I'm not really a fan of Brewery's in general because I don't like Beer. I did try the cherry sour drink and it was pretty ok. It wasn't the best drink but it was something. We only left early because it was just loud tonight. There was karaoke going on and everyone needed to talk louder then normal to have a conversation. I may return when its a more quieter night. read more

Great place for dogs, kids, games and not far from North Houston suburbs in downtown. Nice outdoor area is not far from downtown / airport / humble area. So nice that they have video games and board games for the kids, even a shuffleboard. Their beers are high quality and diverse. The staff was super patient with our 5 year olds craziness. read more

Beerquality meh several flawed beers . There was apair of kids pounding, pounding ! On a game next to our table made for a decidedly nerve-wracking experience. Even if the games are the draw, you still need good beer, right?the parents of the kids were a few tables away and apparently oblivious to the behavior of their children. Our family made a short stop in for a drink and to listen to Dadbod Band play. I ordered the grapefruit margaritas sour and it was delicious! Our teenagers enjoyed the Xbox gaming area at the brewery. There is also a food truck outside when you first arrive that you can order from. The food trucks vary depending on the day. A few months back we ordered Birria tacos from the food truck there that day and they were great! read more

Nothing to be impressed with. The servers at the bar last Saturday were less than enthusiastic to be there. They have a handful of beers, and only one IPA. It's like a large warehouse. Cold and unwelcoming. Someone was having a party and the noise was too loud. Not worth a trip from Spring when there are so many others in our area that are much better. read more

SAT 1/18 @ about 6pm the place had about 20 kids! I felt like I was having a beer at a playground! This was my third time and each time the place had lots of kids running around. One men's bathroom (suggest placing Porta Pottys out back). Beers are a bit pricy. Owners need to decide if they want to attract adults buying beer or kids buying coke. This could be a cool place to hang out with friends and enjoy wonderful beer, but appears owners are more interested in attracting children (with parents) with venue's table and video games than to cater to beer lovers - a real shame since the place had potential. read more

Great place to hang out and kid friendly during the day. I'm not a big fan of beer but came here on a family outing and was not disappointed. Tried some sort of fruit punch beer and it was amazing. There's video game consoles, shuffle boards and a couple other games so there's different things to keep entertained and the vibes are amazing. There's also a food truck in the front that is open after 3pm. Food was not available for vegetarians. Your menus recent changes have assured me and my family's last visit. Service was as good as it was previous. Ambiance was not welcoming. The recent restaurant menu changes have made it a definite 0 star rating. I am a vegetarian and your new menu selections have removed vegetarian/vegan options. This local brewery is a must to visit. Its a very relaxed atmosphere and the people here are friendly and welcoming. I've only been here a few times but it is truly a hidden gem. The band that was playing was also remarkable! They played rock music and gave the place a good music while we played on the free arcade games. I really wanted to like this place, but I've been here a few times and just had awful experiences, I went here pre Covid and the service was slow and terrible, I had to run across the bar to get the servers attention to even get a drink and when they brought the drinks to the table some were just not what I had asked for and are always overpriced bringing 4 total people there and each having 1 beer is not worth $80. The owner Jered has never been friendly towards me and I've been told by friends that's I've brought there that he makes them uncomfortable (mainly women) and that made me really unhappy to hear, and that was it for me and this place. Stopped in tonight to check out not only this brewery but also the Southern Stand food truck. Started with the Whiskey Cookie Bomb Bunker Buster a stout 8.8 AVB. Great flavor and very smooth. I followed that with the Bunker Buster, another nice and smooth stout. Two beers I would definitely have again. The location is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. I met the owner and he has a wonderful enthusiasm for his beer and establishment. The food from the Southern Stand was fantastic! read more

Great beer in a very nice, yet completely comfortable venue. Tons of options beer-wise, IPA's, stouts, ales, even a couple on nitro. Was there for the grand opening and will definitely be back. Obviously there were a few hitches with opening day, but when the place is at capacity, service will always slow. Two things could use a little work: 1. There's nothing to warn you that the outside bar is a more limited offering. On busy nights, waiting in line with a beer menu only to find out when you get to the front that you have to go wait for the main bar is frustrating. Maybe print separate bar menus for the outside & inside bars. 2. Parking is limited. Luckily we were warned by someone that we'd be towed if we parked where we first went. Maybe put a map on the website showing where approved parking is. Other than that, looking forward to having a venue closer to home that we can drop in at occasionally. read more

Wow! Mind blown! This place was awesome! Super clean, great atmosphere and great beer! My wife was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms. Overall it's a very laid back and family friendly place. Talking with the owner it's clear he's very well informed and educated about his brewing process. He goes to great length and minute detail to craft the highest quality products. Also has non-beer options for the "plus one's" so don't be afraid to bring along your friends for a great time! I had higher hopes from following them on Facebook even before they opened. Finally made it and perhaps it was just an off night for them. Facility: is not as steampunk as I had envisioned but that's fine Bathroom: filthy. Paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor and this was shortly after a worker had wheeled a cart full of paper supplies to the bathrooms so there was a chance to clean it. Bar: stood there for quite some time, even to the point where another couple walked in after us and were acknowledged and served. Ok fine, maybe an off night. Beer: Good selection of their beers as well as guest beers. End of evening: This is where it fell apart. We know that typically the bartenders at breweries are busy and there is no one on the floor so we always bring our glasses back to the counter to save them some work. In this case however, the bartender snapped at us as the glasses were placed adjacent to clean glasses (not next to clean glasses). The clean glasses were upside down and the dirty glasses were right side up. It may not seem like a big deal, and we probably would have overlooked everything else, but to be snapped at by an employee is really hard to overlook. Not a place we would travel 90 minutes again to visit. read more

I created this Yelp account just to put this review :) This bar is not a diverse bar. My friends and I visited this place the other day and we were not being served at all. It was this bald head bartender who clearly saw us waiting but he kept skipping us. We waited about 10-15 min to finally get served but he was just giving us attitude. We were obviously not white but everyone there was white. He was all positive with the other people but when it came to us he just gave us this glare. Did not feel welcomed at all. The beer was great I would say that. But did not feel welcomed. I would love to come again but with that kind of experience I wouldn't. read more

Was traveling to Houston for business. Near the airport, popped in and had an unbelievable time. Such a laid back enjoyable staff, variety of outstanding beers and just a cool place to hang. If you are anywhere around Houston, I really can't think of a more fun and safe place to get some good drinks and food. Uber Over and enjoy the night. read more

They are a little too proud of their beer... What happened to $3 or $4 beer at a brewery. Their beers are around $8, and almost everything comes in some sort of snifter. Their beer isn't THAT good to pay that much.. oh and, there are no prices posted so you have no idea how much the beer is and what glass it comes in. I was completely blown-away by Megaton at their grand-opening. It was PACKED there and my friends and I had a fantastic time! Phenomenal micro-brewed beer. Got to talk with one of the staff there about their beers and brewing, supper knowledgeable. Megaton had so many games, things to do, live music, and such amazing vibes.
