The bartender Falynn is incredible. Cheap prices, cold beer, cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a bar. Bar regulars treat you like family.

The parking lot is well lit & large. The bar is nice size with a good bandstand. There is also a…read moregame room off the bar that has shuffleboard & pool. The bar is clean, along with the restrooms, which have surfboards as handles, which is cute & unique. They also have bar food, which is good. We went to see Al Bettis & his band and they were great! The sound in this bar is very good, no echo just pure sound! They are a tight band! Now let's get to the service... a big HUG shout-out to LOREN!! She became our favorite server as the drinks kept coming, as they should! She is cute, friendly & a good sense of play!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

I happened to be in Kingwood for my friend's engagement party and decided to stop by Cowboy Surfer…read morefor a night cap. I've been to the original location in Spring Branch, but this was my first time visiting this location. The bar is located in a shopping strip off of 59. Parking is plentiful. Unlike the original location, you do not have to scan your ID (if you've been to the Spring Branch location, then you know what I'm talking about). It was pretty early on a Saturday evening, so it wasn't terribly busy. I sat at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name that served me, but she was nice. I ordered the Kingwood which is a gin based cocktail with cucumber. The drink was fine, but it was a little tart for my preference. A splash of simple syrup would have balanced it out. I did request for it to be less spicy (it has jalapeño in it). They have live music, though when I was there, they didn't have a band playing. They serve typical bar food like burgers, salads, and nachos. The vibe wasn't quite the same as the location in Spring Branch, but it was fine. This is a nice option for craft cocktails in Kingwood.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because it's the perfect explanation of a hole in the wall bar…read more That's not an insult I promise, I love a good ole hole in the wall bar that is comfortable and laid back. The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Mostly everyone was playing darts inside and nothing else was going on outside probably because it's just too damn hot for that. The biggest complaint is the parking lot, it's got some big craters or pot holes, call it what you want but just drive really slow. I don't think they have a kitchen serving food but I could be wrong. I will be back in the fall

Asked to leave because of service dogs not allowed (Marine Corps Veteran). For a place that has…read moremilitary flags hanging through out it was shocking. Didn't ask for documentation, tags or identification (all docs available upon request). The service dog was wearing his vest, tags and leash. When we told them it's illegal to deny a person with a service dog, they did not care. We asked if the owner knew we were being denied entry and we were told that the owner was the one denying the entry. We were told he could see us on the cameras and wanted us to leave. Texas law are clear on this and this establishment is breaking the law. Picture of the service dog has been added to this review. Not aggressive and over 10k in training.
