The crowd was pretty light, but sometimes that's exactly the mood--you can actually relax, laugh, and enjoy the people you came with instead of shouting over the music all night. We came prepared with games and finally tried the viral magnet game everyone's been talking about. Let me just say--it 100% lives up to the hype. Easy to learn, surprisingly competitive, and absolutely begging to be turned into a drinking game (future plans unlocked). We also played a few rounds of Phase 10, which turned out to be way more entertaining than expected and kept us posted up for a good while. Of course, we had to grab a few cocktails and some food. The drinks were solid and poured just right. She ordered the buffalo wings with fries--simple, classic, and hit the spot. I went with the Rasta Pasta, which is always a win here. Creamy, flavorful, and consistently good--one of those dishes you order with confidence because you already know what it's giving. All in all, it was a chill, fun Christmas Eve outing. Nothing over the top, just good vibes, games, drinks, and food in a laid-back setting. Sometimes that's all you need--and Euphoria delivered exactly that.

The area is generally clean and mess free. Inside it is pretty spacious with regular tables, high tops, booths and a bar top. Nice mirrors to take pictures in, nice stage area. They have really good food and drinks, my favorite is the loaded fries and side car. Pretty decent service, not the quickest but if it's busy expect it to take a bit longer

It cost $40 to get in and I showed up at about 1:30AM, hardly a line too. Got inside it was like 75% full. CASH ONLY and no ATM on site. Free open parking. It's one big open space, two VIP sections flanked on both sides of the stage. A few booth/table sections scattered on the main floor. They had a ton of photographers aimlessly walking around. I counted about five. Kind of annoying when you're trying to enjoy the performance and they are bumping and milling about even if you move to give them space they will still find a way to bump into you. I wish they hired like two dedicated who stayed in a designated area. I didn't care for the opening acts. It detracted from the headliner Derez Deshon instead of warming up the stage for him. He came on right at about 2AM. Performed for a good 15-20 minutes. The DJ played the same songs for all of 30 seconds over again (Ski, Back in Blood, Faneto) in between opening acts before Derez Deshon performed so he didn't do a good job of keeping the crowd entertained. I wouldn't break my neck to drive all the way out to Humble again unless someone I'm really trying to see perform is headlining.

Anybody that knows me knows I hate driving. So what am I to do when all the dancing spots are located deep in Houston. I may have the energy to dance the night away but I definitely don't want to waste my time driving. So Amazonia caters to me by being close and right off I-45 and beltway 8. I tend to arrive to clubs relatively early so I've never encountered an unbearable line or anything like that at this location. It may start at slow but by midnight this place is packed. I should add that the majority of the crowd here is hispanic and that men DO get patted down at the entrance. Additionally theres a strip club right next door so it appears as though they share a good amount of the male clientele. This is not the place I would choose for a single-ladies night out, but if you have a dance partner it's not as likely you'll be bothered. This venue is a split club, and it has two dance floors. The main floor is International night on Saturdays and it has two bars, bathrooms and a VIP section, they play salsa, cambia, merengue, bachata, punta etc. The smaller dance floor claims to play hip-hop, electronic and top 40's but honestly its about 80% reggaeton, 10% trap, and 10% rap from the early 2000's. Theres also bathrooms, another bar and two strip poles and a hoop hanging from the ceiling where girls perform on certain nights. They have some bar stools and couches in both dance areas too. Overall the decor isn't luxurious, and the place is somewhere between clean and dingy. I come back to Amazonia because I come here to dance, not lounge or inspect the decor, so I don't really need more than some good music and a dance floor. One thing that did disappoint me this last visit was that the shots went up in price and are ridiculously small now. I will not be purchasing any shots here anymore, but I'll keep frequently this place when I get my dance fever and don't want to invest much gas or driving time.
