We were not able to take the tour but that's okay, I'm familiar with how whiskey is distilled. So we arrived and had cocktails and food. We sat at the bar area. The staff were friendly and service was good. I enjoyed everything I tried. The best thing I had was a straight pour of the cask strength rye whiskey. I recommend you taste the spirits straight up to get more flavor and I thought the cocktail flavors were okay, need a bit more depth imo. I love the open space of the tasting room/bar area, the lighting is nice and there's good ambiance. The outdoor back patio is nice as well with a good view of downtown. Most fun was their presentation of the smoked whiskey cocktail.

I decided to try the Sangria, which had an unexpected flavor--more like melted grape-flavored popsicles than traditional sangria. It was interesting, though I couldn't quite decide if I liked it or not. While I wasn't completely sold on the drink I tried, I really enjoyed the vibe and setting of this place. They acted giddy and happy to help us put everything together, reassuring us that they would be there to support us on our big day. That all changed the moment they got paid. On the day of the event, we only saw the owners twice, and neither time was to help us. When I walked up to the owner to thank him for having us, his response was completely unprofessional: "Are you kidding? This is for you, you paid for it." The only other time he approached us was to aggressively complain about someone taking up two parking spots--and it wasn't even one of our guests. They also explicitly promised they would check on us throughout the event to see if we needed refills on water or drinks. They completely ghosted. We never saw them, and our guests were left without service. It has been three weeks since the event, and we haven't received a single follow-up call or text to ask how things went. They got their money and completely checked out. Nice place, but terrible owners and even worse service. Never again will we book with them. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff actually cares about your business.
