The bar is pretty spacious, there's lots of room to just hang and drink besides the bar. Adam was our guide & bartender! The drinks were good and the tour was cool. My fave part, besides the cool event room murals, was learning they use poly covers for the barrels to keep track of Angel share (barrel evaporation). And the tasting at the end was great as well.

Drove to Yellow Rose Distillery not knowing what to expect. So there is free parking as Yellow Rose is located in a business strip center. They have a large cozy sitting area which has comfortable sofas with big chairs and high tables with bar stools. There is also sitting at the bar. They also have several TV's to watch sports on. You order and pay at the bar get your drink and pick a place to sit and enjoy your drink. I got an Old Fashion made with their outlaw bourbon. They also give tours of the distillery for a fee, which we did not do. The drinks were nice for HH prices. The service was nice as it's really just the people that are the bartenders. It's a nice place with nice people. Give it a try as it's local bourbon. Support local businesses.

Turns out we were there during a special event, so the menu of the night was limited, even so, it was yummy! The bartender was quick to help me make my drink just the way I like it (I highly recommend their vodka with soda, strawberry, and lime). The tour was very informative, and our guide answered all of our questions with excitement. We will be going back and bringing friends with us. From the outside, you'd never think this neatly crafted distillery was here. It is for sure a neighborhood gem. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Kisha was working the bar and was very helpful suggesting a drink for us. She asked all the right questions and I selected the hibiscus drink and my husband got the spiced drink (sorry can't remember the names). They were mad with love and perfection. The upstairs of the distillery is uniquely designed and has local art to add to the flavor of the environment. They have the cutest sitting room so you can enjoy your drinks. We purchased a tour and Bruce, the tour guide, added to the atmosphere with his humor and knowledge. During the tour you get to taste all the rums and they are all made with love. You will learn more about it during the tour. The owner, Eric, is also very welcoming and doesn't shy away from his guests. It's definitely a place I would return to purchase rum and also bring my visitors.
