And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Thanks but no thanks I don't do off roading! At 2pm this place was packed! There was a DJ, people everywhere, small children everywhere and quite a few dogs. All in all, I am giving the stars for private room because that is what my experience consisted of.

Limited parking spaces were even more limited due to giant potholes filled with water. I had to move my car because once I parked I couldn't get out without getting my shoes soaked. Venue itself is a huge warehouse space. Large shaded deck spans the building. Tables are picnic tables. Great airflow inside with large fans. There is a separate room attached to the large main hall with some high tops and foosball table. Live music this evening with local youth bands from School of Rock. Other touches around the room reinforced their community support (local art on the walls, silent auction for a charity). Great beer selection- B52 beers ranging from IPAs, Pils, Ale, coffee porter. I tried the Bishop Crackberry Cider- just enough sweetness and perfect for the summer night. Service was nice. Food is served outback from a food truck: They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around outside waiting for them to call your name. I shared a Chicken Vindaloo pizza with one other person. Portion size was perfect for 2 adults. Although it promised "tongue searing curry" it totally lacked spice. The Indian flavors were there though. Just don't promise me tongue searing- and it's ketchup level spicy. Thin crust was topped with chicken, Black Truffle Ricotta, Mozzerella, Basil- it was an unexpected exotic flavor to find at a traditional brewery.

B-52 also brews 11 Below's beers so they have both available in the tap room. I got my standard flight which consisted of a stout, 2 IPA's and a doppelbock. All of them were pretty good but the doppelbock was phenomenal. The best I have ever had for that style. It was a little chocolately, malty, and sweet. They had a pizza kitchen onsite that looked tasty. The outdoor sitting area is very nice, lots of trees so it feels like you are at a campsite. They also have an indoor sitting area but it's not much on atmosphere.

Neither of us are the beer-drinking type. She started with wine. I had the Patriotic Pickle sour beer. She finally went with the other sour they had, and she liked it. I was hoping they had the Cherry sour. Omg!!! It's the best; it tastes like a Cherry Jolly Rancher. Seriously, that's not a lie, and the Patriotic Pickle is so good that I've had it and switched right to the Cherry sour. The owner is a wonder, a totally down-to-earth guy. Next month, in June, they will have been open for one year! They're really doing it right. They were crazy busy this Wednesday evening. I had no idea, but it was a FREE bingo night. On other nights, they have music bingo, or you can learn to paint, or listen to music. They normally have a food truck. Sometimes, if the truck doesn't show up, they have pizza; otherwise, you can bring your own food. Plus, it's dog-friendly!!

But I think that standard for most brewery that serve food. If I ever do come back I'll probably just go for some beers and a light snack.

While we were visiting we learned they have a dart league and a corn hole league. We were able to watch the dart league play which was nice. They also have a alternating food trucks Thursdays through Sunday to provide food for customers. When you drive up, it doesn't look like your normal brewery but that is a part of the environment that makes it so cool. Once you get inside, there is table seating, the bar and an area with lounging chairs and sofas if you'd like to have a "living room" feel. There is also an outdoor covered patio to enjoy sitting outside when the weather permits. It was too hot for us to enjoy outside. Talking to Gary, the owner, we learned they have three events a year: anniversary event, October fest and Christmas fest. My husband and I came because he enjoys craft beers.
