I hadn't visited a Paris Baguette since I moved from California, so I was so pleasantly surprised to see a location opening here in The Woodlands. I've stopped in a few times now and picked up treats, cakes, and breads, and everything has been fresh and delicious. For Easter, I grabbed their special carrot cake, and it was exceptional. It had pineapple, pecans, carrots, and raisins, which made it so unique. It's honestly one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had. I also love their tiramisu. Wow! Every time I come here I spent $50 and that is with me having some modicum of self-control! The Dubai latte was the single most best Dubai product I've ever had and I've had a ton. Their coffee and Matcha drinks are phenomenal. It is so nice to have a French type pastry place like I did in LA. Not for my pocketbook though lol! Their king donuts are bar none the softest yeastiest tasting things and the cream inside is next level! I'm not a fortune teller but I foresee this place getting me in trouble with my nutritionist, especially now that it's in the Woodlands. This particular complex is known for its rotating cast of characters. The only resident that's stood the test of time is Bellagreen. Again, not a fortune teller, but I'm liking the current line up of businesses. Paris Baguette specifically offers a large selection of baked goods and pastries. They offer classic croissants alongside those with chocolate puddings, red bean puffs and various tarts. I personally love that the pastries aren't too sweet. You can also find various cakes behind the counter as well as drinks to order. They offer something for everyone. Out of the 6 pastries I ordered, I was able to try...all 6. I'd only reorder 2 of the 6, but I'm learning their menu, which is my clever way of creating an excuse to return to try more ;). read more

I went to this establishment today because I really wanted to try the apple pie streusel pudding cake but if it is not advertised online saying it's only available between these hours and these hours, it should be advertised like that online I went to this establishment at 6 AM this morning and I really wanted to try it so I asked the lady where is it in the case and she's like oh you don't have that until 11 AM mind you I don't drive because I'm disabled so I was really ticked off cause I wasn't about to sit at the establishment and wait for the item to come out. This establishment is also very expensive. I only got a sprite, a ham and cheese croissant and a pudding cup and it was like $16. That's crazy. The cashier let me taste the Korean milk coffee because I was unsure....he was so sweet and did a good job of explaining things to me. We were able to hang out for a couple of hours. I've been here a few times and the ONE time I actually stepped into this pastry... I met an employee named CONNOR. I ordered a cinnamon churro latte with oat milk which I absolutely love. As I am checking out she tells me, you have to get the app for $3 off latte this month. I'm a sucker for sweets and each time I saw their ads on tv I would drool lol. This place surely doesn't make it easy to fight those sweet cravings lol. I found out there was a location close to me and absolutely had to check them out! Upon entry you grab a tray, tongs, and a piece of parchment paper. They have donuts, cakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, pastries, and so much more!! All of these items are located in closed cabinets and you walk around choosing the items of your liking. Once you finish making your selections, you bring it to the counter for it to be boxed by one of the employees. I grabbed 2 sweet treats and a savory grilled cheese. All were delish and high quality. What a treat. We love to visit her atleast once every other week. It's a great support when my husband pulls up to their parking lot. I've never been to Paris Baguette and we were visiting from out of town and I have got to say, aside from visiting family, that this was my favorite place to go for the week we were in the area. While we were staying further away from this area for the later half of our trip, we came here almost every day. No issues with parking, this place does get quite busy though. You grab a tray and a set of tongs and can go through and pick up what you would like and take it to the counter. They have pastries, savory pastries, cakes, breads, coffee, you name it. Looking online, I zoned in on the Chocolate Supreme Croissant. I didn't get to go the first day and unfortunately, they didn't have any on the shelf BUT the others that I tried were great. On the first day, we got the Strawberry Croissant, the Pain au Chocolat, the Butter Cream Bread, the Chocolate Croissant and the Very Berry Pastry. We shared everything and there wasn't anything that we didn't enjoy. On the second day, I was finally able to get the Chocolate Supreme Croissant and it was absolutely worth the wait and delicious. While they didn't have any on the shelves, I asked at the front and was able to get my hands on one. We also ordered the Curry Croquette, the Pepperoni Pizetta, the Hash Brown Bread and a Strawberry Mochi Donut, a Coffee Croissant Donut, and an easter Mochi Donut. Loved the savory Curry Croquette and the flavor of the savory Pepperoni Pizetta. The Mochi donut were good and I did love the Coffee Croissant Donut. The Chocolate Supreme Croissant was easily my favorite. It's filled with this delicious chocolate custard cream which I did not know. We also did order a sweet potato bread for our grandfather and while he loved it, the bread did get a little stuck in his dentures. Our third day, we ordered a Hazelnut Latte and a Vanilla Latte and went back for our favorites. We ordered the curry croquette and not one, not two but three of the Chocolate Supreme Croissant. Absolutely worth it and I could probably eat those all day. Lattes were delicious, definitely get the rewards app if you live close and plan on going 7 days a week because I definitely would if I could. Really nice location to have some pastry and a drink. Walking inside, you're immediately greeted by all of their baked goods-each one more enticing than the last. The woman working the counter was very friendly and helped us with our order efficiently. The food comes out quickly (given that it only needs to be heated) as they call your name to pick up your order. The sandwiches we ordered were good, but the pastries are much better. They had just opened when we went. Lots of kinks to work out. They didn't have some of the sandwiches and when asked they said it would be an hour for the baguettes. Seemed weird since they had tons of baguettes on trays in the dining room. Refilling cases with large racks in the dining room made the packed space even harder to move in. He wiped all the crumbs onto the chairs, I guess we were supposed to sit in them. We brushed them off with our hands. My iced tea had about 1/3 of the ice and was filled about 70%. We spent over $20 on one piece of chocolate strawberry cake, one iced tea and one cream puff. I don't mind paying premium prices, if the quality of service, cleanliness, and food quality is there. This place will be a flash in the pan unless they train their employees and monitor them at some level. The couple behind us returned both of their coffee drinks because they were supposed to not have sugar. I asked for some more tea, I was told they don't do refills. I understand that but at least give the proper fill the first time. They ask for a tip at the point of sale...it adds insult to injury. I definitely would've been overwhelmed if it was busy as it is a small area, but thankfully I was alone. the seating is very close to each other, and there was only one option for loner guests which was a table of 2 in the middle. The pastries were yummy and lasted a few days after purchased too. The wrap wasn't the best caesar wrap, but i'm picky. It tasted more like a chicken salad caesar wrap. The salt bread looked a little dark, which made it seem like it would be dry. First bite was a little crispy, buttery and fluffy. It had a small hole filled with the salt spread. The pastry frank is a plump sausage and cheese in a croissant dough. I got it heated, which made the layers crispy and buttery. The sausage in this one tastes better than the ones in the other pastries due to the saltiness and "snap" when I bit it. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese tastes pretty good, though I don't think the crispiness of the hash browns is retained during the baking process. The ganache cream cake slice was soft with a fluffy cream. The little chocolate crisp balls in the center were a fun surprise. I was tempted to sit outside in the patio area as it was cute and shaded but had too many things to carry. Not sure if it was because it was Mother's Day, but it was busy at 7:45am.
