Vegan Cinnamon anything is really a go for me on any given day LOL first things first I am a HUGE savory girly so I hardly ever enjoy sweets I don't really care for sweet foods in general but these Cinnaholic Rolls were PRESSURE, BIG YUMS. I ate the whole creme brûlée roll and kicked my feet up in satisfaction immediately following. hahaha I only wish I had tried their banana bread because it looked really good too. The service was great here, they were all in great moods and very willing to answer any questions I had, of course it smelled amazing in this shop so that was a plus. The first time I gave them 2.5 hours and when I got there I was advised that they get a lot of orders in and it would be 30 more minutes. Today I entered an order ($100+) and was advised that it would be ready at 3:00 and when I got there (no a soul in the place) the employee advised me that she didn't see the order and advised me that it would be another 30 minutes. Where do I invest - either in the form of patronizing or into the actual business itself? Obviously someone from Shark Tank thought it was a worthwhile idea to go head to head against Cinnabon with some new ideas on an old business model. When you walk in, you see a case with about 9 different delicious concoctions, plus an overhead menu with even more items to choose from. I could have been happy ordering just about any of them, but opted to go with the Banana Cinnamon Roll. I see online that they have one called the Monkey Business that has banana on it, but I am not sure that's the same one I tried. Unfortunately, the sign for the one I ordered was knocked over, but I did add a photo. It had banana and a bunch of other delicious things. Apparently everything here is vegan, which is what separates it from Cinnabon. I didn't taste anything that made it seem like the "diet" version, so good for them. The sky is the limit on what you can create here. The owners are a beautiful Mom and her two precious daughters, all of who I was able to meet. They personally cared about my experience. Been meaning to stop by here since they opened up a few months ago. This place is a great place to take your family for a nice treat. The lady's that work here are super nice and everything they have is super tasty. We got the Oreo Cheese Cake and Crème Brûlée cinnamon rolls and the German chocolate cake cookie dough. Yes you can customize your cinnamon roll from the toppings down to the icing. My family loved their cinnamon roll and I loved my traditional cinnamon roll with a pecan topping. I make deserts and really do compare all my restaurant explorations to my own food. My icing is very famous to my family and friends and this icing was very good. Not better than mine lol but good. It wasn't too sweet. The dough was soft and fluffy. The flavor was well balanced and delicious. The staff seems to be very sweet people. They were very patient with us ordering and explained how things work. She even explained how she took her time making the icing. For those who love cookie dough, they have it available. Finally got a chance to swing by Cinnaholic and try their rolls. We had the Banana Pudding, Berries and original. All were amazing. This is not some janky Cinnabon but handmade and hand crafted rolls which are finished upon order so they aren't overly soggy and stale. Seems like a family owned franchise which makes it even more of a blessing to visit to support these great people. My son and I went yesterday after baseball and took the rolls home for the family to have Saturday morning. They didn't make it, we ate them that night because a simple taste turned into a full ordeal of finishing each roll to the last crumb. I was there the first week that Cinnaholic's flagship and first shop was open in Berkeley, CA - and after moving to Texas and missing Cinnaholic - I am ecstatic that this store has now opened in Conroe. It's all very fresh, tastes amazing and even with it being vegan it doesn't feel like it's "missing" anything. On the contrary, it's something I crave and go back often. The staff is always super friendly and the owner is always so nice. The only removal of one star is because they are a bit slow to get an order of 4 cinnamon rolls out. After all the hype about this place I was so disappointed. Service was sweet but it took over ten minutes to get one roll and I was the only customer in the store. I thought to myself oh yay maybe they're baking a fresh batch. Nope. The cinnamon bun I got was cold and the warm frosting was the only good part. Because it was October, I decided on the pumpkin roll and the icing was perfectly spiced and a great texture. That's where the positives ended though unfortunately as the toppings of pumpkin bread and chopped up oatmeal tasting cookies just didn't go together. It was also not small chunks of cookie but huge pieces same for the pumpkin bread. I ended up eating each thing separately and the cinnamon roll was dry and not very cinnamony. The cookie was too sweet and the pumpkin bread also dry and flavorless. I don't think I'll be back. 2 stars because they did send me a message offering a free roll after I filled out their survey. My son and I walked in at 10am on 1/12/24 and the gentleman that was working was helping another customer. Once he finished, we walked up to the cash register where he was standing. No greeting. Nothing. After an awkward 30 - 45 seconds, he says "Yes?". We placed our order. Two rolls with frosting. $15. I handed him a $50. He shakes his head and says "oh no, I don't have change for that". So, I pull out my credit card, he swings the screen around for a tip. Why in the world would I tip you with service like this? I do not add a tip and turn the screen back around. He makes our order and hands us the bag. No "thank you". Nothing. We left and ate the cinnamon rolls in our car. Can I ask how you are supposed to eat these rolls with the flimsiest of forks? This fork just bends when you try to use it. We had to wait until we got home so we could use a real fork. I hope the owners of this establishment reads these reviews. And I would love the owners to try and eat one of these rolls with the fork provided. Our experience was beyond terrible. The gentleman working SHOULD NOT be in customer service. And an establishment like this should have at least $35 in the till for change. We won't be back. read more
