But this desert was just WAY TOO SWEET. The vanilla sauce was more like a sugary frosting that ruined the whole dessert for me.I don't know if it's because I'm old and my sweet tooth isn't as strong, but I couldn't eat much of it even after scraping off part of the frosting. Seriously? I don't know who's jacking up the rating here but this is one of those places that rewards you for your Google review if you show it to them. 50% of bill. So don't be fooled by all the positive ratings. The place just feels dingy inside. Should've stuck to the food truck. And the staff just give a bad vibe. All their products are similar. And that's fine. But The dark knight and Dubai chocolate were nothing special whatsoever. The ice cream just tasted like what I could get a Jason's Deli for free. The brownie bit was like a Little Debbie. Ok well probably higher quality but when covered with sauce I was none the wiser. Honestly For $9 each, it's definitely not a place I'd be in a hurry to go back to again. FYI water is only sold by the bottle. I do appreciate the hours as they keep true to the name. Midnight Cravingz absolutely lived up to the hype! I ordered the brookie to-go, but it smelled so good that I couldn't even wait until I got home to try it. One bite in and I knew I had made the right choice. The brookie was warm, rich, and perfectly gooey, and the ice cream on the side was the perfect addition. Together, they completely hit the spot. I'm still thinking about it days later! If you're a dessert lover, do yourself a favor and order the brookie. This spot seems like a split decision. Some love it, some hate it, and some are in between. I guess I'm an "in between". The name is right, this spot is perfect for midnight cravingz indeed! If your reading this, know that this food truck was be opening its brick and mortar location in Rayford if not already, very soon! The menu was pretty robust, boasting all of the favorites + a few unexpected additions. We tried the take on an apple pie (apple bliss), the Brookie, and a super chocolate creation boasting chocolate fudge, named "hot like lava"! Although the fudge was more like chocolate syrup (womp womp) I can see how this is some folks thing! Soft serve ice cream beside a loaded cookie, yum. TBH, the price tag of $8 per creation felt pretty steep. None of the creation wowed me (I prefer my chocolate darker, with a bit more salt and warmed (or perhaps more warmed) to really contrast the soft serve), but I'd certainly take others here to try it out. The service and the ambiance of the food truck leave a lot to be desired atm, but ofcourse I'm sure that will change when they're in their storefront. read more

Love their desserts! It's one of my favorite places to visit from top tier ambience to great ice cream!

I had high expectation for this location, but was not impressed. First the good: the staff is friendly and the food comes out relatively quickly. It is located in a nice area, such that even at night it is okay to eat outside. Now for the less good: the brownies are average. They do not arrive warm (my family's brownies were almost cold, lukewarm at best) and are stiff-almost stale. The ice cream is watery, not creamy and indulgent. Honestly the food was just not something worth returning to. Perhaps my family and I will come back to give this location another try, but, for now, this is where I stand. read more

Why 5 stars? Because this is sweets heaven. --- --- --- My wife found Midnight Cravingz on social media and vowed that we needed to visit. The issue is that they are only open pretty late in the evening and we generally aren't cool enough to be allowed outside after sundown. But on this day of returning back home from the south side of town, we timed it up perfectly to finally make it happen. When we pulled up, there was a really crazy line of people. As someone who knew nothing about this place, I could hardly believe it. I was totally unaware of their popularity. But the line moved pretty quickly - despite having no less than 15 people in front of me, I probably had my food in hand in about 15 minutes. My wife ordered the Classic, while I went with the Lost In Lotus (cookie butter). I don't know why mine was nice and hot, while hers was not, but I was not complaining! I loved every bite of mine. The best thing to compare it to is probably a pizookie from BJ's Pizza: a warm cookie with ice cream and other toppings. I could eat it every day if it weren't likely north of 1,000 calories. Now that I've visited, I understand the popularity. What I don't understand is why they are only really open late, but it's tough to question the business when it's obviously been wildly successful. read more

The gingerbread was good, was warm, not hot. The ice cream on the other hand, didn't have a flavor. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it didn't taste like any vanilla ice cream that I've had. The store was very clean, it has a very relaxed feel to it. They were playing popular music. My food came out quickly and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the Apple Bliss and the Dubai Chocolate. The Apple bliss was perfectly warm and sweet with the cold vanilla ice cream paired with it. The Dubai Chocolate is sweet without being overpowering. The vanilla ice cream pairs nicely with the rich chocolate cookie and the almost savory pistachio on top. This was a nice little treat. It's a creative dessert menu where each dish consists of a warmed large cookie and soft serve ice cream with creative toppings and nice presentation. The servings were very shareable and a really good value, so it will take a few visits to try the different creations and it's cheap enough to be a spontaneous thing. They've got a really nicely designed food truck (trailer really) with big round windows and bright lighting inside that catches your eye as you drive by. The first time we noticed it the lines were crazy, but when we went by to try it on another day, it was less crowded. Service was very fast for us so I imagine a long line would move pretty quickly and only be slowed down by people not being able to see the menu until they get closer to the window. read more
