If you're looking for a rich and delicious homemade ice cream, this is the place to go! I've been coming here for a couple years now, their service and ice cream are consistently great. Staff is always so quick and friendly! There is a good amount of seating around if you want to sit and enjoy. I will note there is no bathroom available. We really enjoy this place and all their varieties, especially that their prices are very reasonable! read more

Handel's Ice Cream is absolutely amazing and easily one of the best dessert spots around. The ice cream is incredibly rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--you can tell it's made fresh and with high-quality ingredients. There are so many flavors to choose from, and everything we tried was outstanding. The portions are generous, and the value for the price is great considering the quality. The staff was friendly and efficient, even when it was busy, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. If you're looking for top-tier ice cream, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back again! read more

This is one of our favorite go to ice cream shops! They have an array of ice cream flavors and unique menu items. My usual go to item is butter pecan ice cream. They also have pup cups for purchase for our furry babies. Service is usually speedy and ice cream is delish. The establish has outdoor seating only. There is also space to walk around or sit by the water area near the theater. read more

Easily one of the best ice cream spots in Houston. It reminds me of Braums ice cream. Quality and service is 100%, even dealing with rude customers, the employees still smile and are positive. I've tried their ice cream for over 5 years and it's still solid. Recommended 100!!! read more

Handels was just ok. Nothing really blew me away here. Service was ok, food was ok, and prices were ok. I got the chocolate peanut butter brownie in a waffle cone. It was good, but I'd rather go somewhere else to get the same thing. I feel like cold stone does it better. It was good value though, especially for the amount of ice cream I got. Overall, handels was just kinda ok read more

Handel's has some very delicious ice cream, this was my first time here after watching a movie at regal cinemas with the kiddos. This ice cream is delicious! I had no idea how good this ice cream spot was going to be.The ingredients are good quality and the customer service is excellent. The menu is huge and so much good stuff to choose from. Handel's ice cream I must say some of the best around the homemade flavors and ingredients is was makes it part from others that I have tried. so we tried the chocolate dipped Banana with sprinkles which wasn't ice-cream but a frozen treat and although simple but the chocolate as very delicious and everything blended so well together, we also tried the Oreo cookie sandwich and I never seen a Oreo cookie that big of a size before which was cool, the Oreo wasn't hard was a soft cookie shell and the vanilla ice cream that was in between was delicious the my little girl loved it. we also ordered the vanilla brownie it was awesome with nice size soft pieces of brownies complemented will with the vanilla ice cream. very delicious this place satisfied our sweet tooth. amazing I would definitely take the kiddos back here for a sweet treat. read more

Says on their website and in Apple Maps that they close at 11 pm but they were closed at 10 pm.

An import from Ohio, this home made ice cream shop will remain on the scene for a long time. Creamy and unique flavors, they come in cups, cones and sundae form. The only low moment was the sale of dog Ice cream which turned out to be a commercial product available at a quarter of the price at the neighboring grocery. read more

Best ice cream in all of Houston hands down. The portions are great and all the flavors are delicious.

It's in a great location. Nice different ice cream/dessert/treat to get once in a while. Their flavors are delicious and service is quick even when busy. The employees are friendly and patient. read more

Melanie was so rude. She doesn't greet the customers, she doesn't smile, and she overall doesn't seem pleased to be there.

So many flavors! Their seasonal flavors are soooo good. I've had ice cream all over the state, and houston. Plus out of the country, for a generic shop this place is very good. Service is ok, on the slower side compared to cold stone, but worth the wait, staff is super nice and helpful. Portions are HUGE. worth the price point, ambiance, is fine it's off a busy road and movie theater. Wish it was indoors. It's only outdoor. This is my top favorite place for ice cream!!! If you want to travel south there's Flower and Cream that is by far the best hard ice cream I've had locally. read more

Called ahead to make sure we arrived before close which is 10pm, arrived before 9:30pm. It was our first time so we weren't really sure how to proceed with ordering, the girls inside made the occasional eye contact with us, but no verbal communication on if we should order, how to proceed, nothing. We just awkwardly stood outside waiting to be attended maybe, and if not then possibly a "hey we're closing, we're not taking any more orders" or a "give us a moment, we'll be right with you". Super disappointing & a waste of time. I also work in the service industry so I understand pre closing is essential and you want to go home on time. But the lack of communication is what's upsetting. Thanks for nothing y'all lol read more

Endless options. Great customer service. The wait is worth it. Affordable prices and decent seating area near 4dx movie theater.

We've been a few times and it never disappoints. All ice creams we've had have been really good. Young kids working here are very pleasant with great manners. We get the 4 sampler to try something different each time. read more

Good ice cream and milkshakes!! I had the milkshake for the first time. I ordered a strawberry milkshake regular (not thick) and it was good. The ice cream is big enough for two people. Sometimes I shared with my husband or order less scoops. Service is good! The only bad thing about the place is that there is not indoor seating and with this Texas weather we need indoor seating. read more

I WISH THIS PLACE WAS INSIDE. Before I even start this I want to mention that this restaurant is completely outside, SO IT GETS INCREDIBLY HOT. I almost melted! But on to the ice cream, I had the Vanilla with Oreos and left satisfied. Although the menu was confusing, I still ended up with tasty ice cream. The staff was also really kind and helped as I struggled with understanding the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who doesn't mind standing out in the heat. read more

This place was wonderful! The menu is huge and it was so good. You can definitely feel the homemade flavor and richness of this ice cream. Almost went back for another flav. They had some many choices and deserts even if you're not in the mood for typical cone or cup the have sandwiches to shakes to dipped Bananas and beyond. Plus all the toppings and options you like. Bought the large peach, and nope it was sour like frozen yogurt. Maybe other flavors are good if they are not like sour milk. Disappointed because we drove a long ways to try them out. First visit here probably won't drive to this place again. read more

horrible experience. i arrived at 9:43 pm. this meant that there was still 17 minutes until closing. my friends that I was with ordered first, after having to wait 5 minutes at the window for someone to open it and take our orders. there were four girls inside cleaning and on their phones, and only two were truly helping customers. once we got to order, the server that we were met with gave us the most attitude, and slammed the window on us both times we ordered. I ordered an oreo milkshake, which is not hard to make, and i received a vanilla milkshake with zero oreos in it. I am very disappointed in the service i was met with today. I will definitely not recommend this establishment to friends, and will not be returning. read more

good vegan options :) and they're open later than most shops in the area, will be back
