Google searched, "vegan ice cream" in the area and I'm glad the number one result was Cheaters. At first, I thought this restaurant was a joke because with a name like that - that seems a bit off. Now this is what I'm talking about, we need more of these shops around that offer more than one selection of vegan ice cream and that's very flavorful too. I was surprised that they had pandan flavored since everything seems to revolve around matcha this and that nowadays. Pandan IMO tastes way better. This ice cream reminds me of the Pandan Soy milk that I get from Chinatown; absolute divine and the mango sticky rice flavor is good too. I visited this ice cream shop right after dinner nearby and realized they currently have 3 locations in Houston area. Once inside, I found they had not only 1 but 2 banana flavors...how awesome! They have tons of pints for sale in frozen case and even shirts and ball caps for sale too. There are 5 tables inside for dine in customers. Once of the coolest parts of the interior, which is really clean, is the spray painted wall. Their current offer is free ice cream with purchase of a hat or t shirt. Service was okay when trying their flavors. I tried the banana nutella, birthday cake batter and honey lavender but didn't like any of those. I just ended up choosing the banana pudding without trying and this turned out to be the best of the three actually. Have gone here 3 times since it recently opened. The ice cream flavors are so fun, and so so good - highly recommend coming here if you like shops that make their own ice cream. They only do the doughboys (ice cream inside a donut) Fri-Sun, so I was a lil bummed when they had sold out of the doughboys when we went for our third visit last Saturday evening. Went to the grand opening and despite being packed service was pretty quick. Due to having so many guests the employee didn't hear I wanted a waffle cone so it was just placed on top after it was served in the plastic container, no biggie. I have to say I had pretty high hopes for the matcha and Thai tea flavor soooo I left a little disappointed. The matcha flavor was lacking and it tasted like milk with a dusting of matcha. I wish the flavor was a bit more pronounced. The Thai tea was definitely a little more pronounced, but it didn't taste quite like thai tea. I've retired to this location solely for the Ube flavor.
