THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! this is my 3rd time coming to the location and i loved their ice cream and the customer service was amazing. but recently they have been slacking tremendously. First off all the teenage girls have an awful attitude and when it comes to taking orders as well they are very short and won't try and help out. The shop is always dirty, tables are never wiped down trash isn't taken out. LASTLY AND THE MAIN REASON WHY IM DOING THIS, is i came at 10:17pm Today and the doors were both locked and on the door and website says the shop is closed at 11pm and they were open for another 30+minutes. I decided to give this ice cream spot a try one night since I had never been. Upon entering, you will see that they are different than other ice cream stores and don't have a bunch of tubs of pre-made ice cream sitting there for you to visually see, sample and select. At Creamistry, they prepare each ice cream dish on the spot, so that's the best part, there is no other way to get your ice cream any fresher. Now comes all the bad parts. 1. You can't sample any flavor before ordering. 2. It takes a little longer to receive your order due to the preparation, blending, and nitrogen freezing process. 3. The price starts about $2 more than the competitors and the toppings are also pricy at around $1 each. 4. They tend to sway you into ordering their pre-made concoctions to save some money, but those are pricy as well. 5. The flavors I tried were not that good at all and tasted mostly milky if anything. 6. You cannot order 2 or more flavors mixed together like you can at traditional ice cream parlors. I tried the small banana and the small taro on two separate orders. The banana ice cream uses half of a real banana and a ton of milk and a few other ingredients and is then frozen. When mixed in the mixer, it leaves small chunks of banana in the mix. It's then frozen with the liquid nitrogen attachment to the mixer. This flavor is actually white and small yellow chunks, unlike most banana ice creams which are almost always yellow. This was passable, but still tasted mostly milky and melted very fast, even on a chilly evening. The taro was way worse and not seemingly made with fresh taro, but most likely artificial flavors. This also tasted pretty milky. I ended up throwing away both of them. Yuck! read more

I had no idea this was supposed to be some science experiment ice cream shop. I saw ice cream as I was peeping through the window and door and went inside. Of course, I was looking for the real butter pecan. But what I got instead was just as yummy! So, what I'm told is that they use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream. The only problem is that I like my ice cream really cold and hard. Now this concept isn't bad at all, I realized I apparently like my ice cream they way its made here. Not overly frozen and smooth. I ordered the Party Animal, which comes with pink and white animal cookies. Mine did not. When I asked the young lady to add them, she stated that they were crushed in with the ice cream. I told her that is not what the photo shows. She told me the instructions she has on how to make it tell her to crush them into the ice cream. If that is the case, change the photo. read more

Love this place. My wife and I just happened upon it yesterday. The girl working inside was very kind and friendly. She showed us about the nitrogen gas and who it looks like liquid but disappears instantly. I had a root beer float with chocolate ice cream. It was really good. The ice cream is awesome. I have come 4 times to this location. Their hours are so inaccurate, they say they close at 10pm and never do! They always close significantly earlier then specified, even on their hand written sign on the door. I called to ask if they had regular ice cream and not sorbet because last time they did not have any, minutes later I show up and they're closed before their specified hours. Could've at least said they weren't serving customers. I understand if they don't have sufficient food supplies but maybe update the door on the front that YOU UPDATED. read more

I don't think I've ever had ice cream this creamy, the creaminess is so apparent that I was at times trying to find something to compare it to. If I had a blind taste test I wouldn't have had known that I was eating ice cream. The ice cream dissipates as a hot knife through butter would( your tongue being the knife) but it feels as light as a heavy whip cream, with the creaminess of a New York cheesecake. It's a bit pricy for me but worth it never the less. Finishing off my small size left me wanting more. read more

If I can give this review 0 stars I would. Came on a wednesday night, with two employees behind the counter. One employee took our order while the other was prepping orders. It started when we were placing our order, one employee was distracted while taking our order and the other one was refusing to call out the order and asking the employee who was helping us to call it out because she was confused on how to pronounce the name of the customer. Waited at least 25/30 minutes and watched both employees prepare orders inefficiency from previous customers. Each group waiting before us had to wait for all the orders to come out individually instead of them being prepared for their group. Finally get our order and it was wrong and the didnt even start the second order of ice cream we asked for. A third employee ( I'm assuming they were one) came in with a pizza not wearing creamistry attire amd proceeded to walk behind the counter. We asked for a refund since we were tired of waiting and still had to wait for half of our order to be remade and the other to be started. They grabbed the pizza lady to help them while she was still refusing to put down her slice of pizza. One employee had to grab it from her so she can process our refund. To say this was the worst experience I've had is a understatement. I've visited other creamistries and have never had a experience like this. Definitely would not come here ever. read more

My family visited the Vintage Park location on 10/10/24 around 6:15pm. My daughter ordered a Regular banana ice cream. That was made perfect, as she wanted nothing additional with it. However I ordered a Chocolate combustion. No whip cream. When our order came out it was nothing but a chocolate shake.. or what looked like that. I immediately brought it to the register and told the gentlemen I was sorry if there was any confusion but that I had wanted the chocolate combustion. He apologized and said he would get it fixed. A minute later another gentlemen called our name - to come to the register. He was trying to re-charge us for the combustion.. when we hadn't drank anything from the shake and I left it at the counter with the gentlemen who I spoke to initially, before he called us back to the counter. I told him I didn't mind paying the $1 difference and he stated he would refund us then charge us for the combustion, I said okay. However after a minute he was unable to figure out how to do it. He said never-mind and that they would get it fixed. I apologized again and said thank you. After waiting for another 5 minutes or so, a gentlemen called us from the counter and had the same shake.. just with caramel drizzle added in it.. I'm really unsure where the miscommunication was with the store employees that night, and completely understand when things happen or are confused. However these employees seemed quite lazy when it came to fixing our order. I really wanted to return to the counter and just request a refund at that point, and probably should've. However we decided to just leave. I would like a refund for the product that we didn't get. And will not tip the employees again prior to getting our order, much less go back to that location. Otherwise I will dispute it with my bank. It's a measly $12 but to pay that for something that wasn't what was ordered nor given is something I won't do. I gave them plenty of opportunities to correct something that seemed pretty simple and was very polite and patient. They completely screwed up. Best ice cream we've had in a long time....its really creamy....let me just say this because I've seen tons of the negative reviews having to do with the wait time....if you want fast cheap ice cream go to basking Robbin's or marble slab or one of those other places that has the ice cream ready to go....when you go to this place the ice cream is made fresh from scratch to order....i also don't understand the negative reviews when it comes to the taste....its honestly some of the best ice cream I've had....my family and I have tried the Taro, Strawberry Bond, Mango, Quantum Coffee, Cookie Monster, Party Animal, and none of them have disappointed...the place is always clean and the staff is always friendly....Malaika attended us this past Sunday 3/16/2025 and she's probably one of the most nicest people we've met, many people starting popping through the door and even then she attended us all in a timely manner and was very professional about it all....will definitely be our go to place from this point on when we want ice cream! read more
