    Mangled papaya
    Sharon M.

Normally I'm pretty pleased with this location. Today however, I saw the bagger put my beautiful papaya in the cart pretty roughly. Sure enough, when I got home, I noticed how banged up it was. I was planning on leaving it out for a few days before peeling it, but it has to be done now. Anyways, I just called customer service to complain and let them know to please tell the baggers to be more careful with fruit. They told me to come back to the store, but I have no time. So, I guess watch out for your fruit so they don't mangle it.

Love this particular Krogers. I'm in this one a lot and Valley Ranch. Stores are clean and staff are super friendly. Today I had to hurry in to get a salad for my lunch plus use the rest room. Geez that restroom looked as though someone had been living in it or it was a crime scene. By far worst than a very bad rest stop.

DRUMROLL PLEAAASSSSEEEEE..... Ladies and gents, the Kingwood area is proud to present the brand new Kroger with GAS STATION~ If you're not from Kingwood, you are probably thinking, "So what? Big deal. I have one of those down the street from me!" Well, sassy britches, Kingwood has long awaited the coming of this very grocer. You've been able to redeem your Kroger points for fuel savings for a hot minute, but us Kingwoodites have to travel to Atascocita if we so feel to redeem ours. If anyone remembers the opening of the HEB in Atascocita, I would say that this is a similar experience. It is very exciting to have a store that has those quirky add ons, (sushi rolling station, salad bar, Starbucks, Fred Meyers jewelers and WHHAAAA an entire furniture department). My favorite parts: I can still get the clearance meat that I love Kroger for, they have an extended health foods section, a great toy selection at reasonable prices and the beer. THE BEER! They have an intense selection of local and craft beers that make this little lady oh so very happy because this place is less than 2 minutes from my home. Suck it Specs, I'm hittin' up the Kroger. They are obviously overstaffed now with it being the grand opening but they have heards of little blue vesties running about. Very sweet kids and speedy service, for now.

I love this Kroger Marketplace! I like the fact that I can get fresh meats, seafood, garlic bread, and cold cults. Usually I'll go during the day and sometimes they give out samples of sushi and cheeses. I don't eat sushi much but I had a sample that was being served called Shagy Dog and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it, so if you love sushi give it a try. The store has been open for more than a month and the service is still great. Staff are nice and very helpful. Can't get enough of this place :)..

    Awesome baby isle customer service!!!

I love me a good ol HEB! M this location was clean like them all. I am from up north so Kroger is…read moremy go to! But since I moved to the south I've been here for everything including banking, gas, etc. Great location! Not a lot of traffic to get into and out of here

With more than 420 stores in Texas and Mexico, the H-E-B grocery company is the fifth largest (by…read morerevenue) privately owned company in the U.S. It was founded in 1905 in Kerryville, Texas and became H-E-B when a successful 2nd store was launched in Del Rio, Texas, using the initials of the owner, Howard Edward Butt. I've experienced their take home Texas barbeque a couple of times, and was excited when my brother let me know that his local H-E-B had a Bayou Boil House (not all do), serving up Louisiana Crawfish boils during the weekend. The stand is located at the front entrance of the store where the carts are located (similarly where a hot dog stand would be if in a Midwestern store). It is manned by two H-E-B employees, with coolers stocked with the already cooked seafood and vegetables. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived an hour before closing (closing at 6pm), they were out of crawfish (would have been $6.97 per pound). Instead we got shrimp (headless and deveined, shell-on for $12.97 per pound), with corn and potatoes ($2.97 per pound), sausage ($7.97 per pound). Snow Crab would have been $16.97, though I never think it is worth it. It is all mixed together in a large durable plastic bag. We brought it back home, and I ended up eating it for dinner and the following breakfast. Everything was really good: nothing was overcooked (i.e. mealy or mushy), the sausage was a good andouille, and the old bay type seasoning was just right. They could definitely elevate it up a couple of notches if replicating a Viet-Cajun sauce, that is very popular in the Houston area. But as it is, definitely a winner...along with their Texas brisket, makes me wish an H-E-B was visitable from where we live.
