I love this kroger location because of their great staff. Often I write about my great experiences at places we eat, but I realize that I fail to notice the places I frequently shop at like this Krogers location where I always get great service and treated well by their team members or staff. Yesterday I was shopping for some espresso ground coffee and a staff member to time to give great suggestions and I truly appreciated it. I left the store feeling great about my purchase. She was also very patient and took time to talk with us. Her name is Lashelle, Cashier #503. I also love their Deli and Produce section which always looks great and well stocked and so much choices and mostly they make sure counters and shelves are clean. This place has an infestation on Indian moth's in their dry pasta isle! Do not purchase any of it along with their seasoned meats. They try and disguise the foul smells with their pre-seasoning and mark the pricing really low to get people to buy. Be warned! read more

I order a birthday cake from the bakery at the Kroger in Humble, TX. It was stale and not fresh. The icing and the cake all tasted like coconut oil, terrible. Cake was spongey and dry as hell. It was not baked fresh. I am returning the uneaten portion for a refund. read more

This is for ALL Kroger stores. For starters... you have handicapped parking only!!!! I've probably witnessed only 2 people parking in those spaces who are really handicapped.... Others get out of their vehicles running almost. If I park at this Krogers... regular parking starts halfway between the store and the service station. I forget whether I'm trying to get groceries or get gas... and after last night at this location, I resolved to NEVER go back to Krogers... It's tooo expensive and the quality has dwindled..even saw some meats that were spoiled and turning dark red. You should be ashamed !!!! read more

Well went in today for a few things on the mega sale I went to self check out needed coupons scanned by a floor supervisor Dennis who was very rude and loud about a few items on my coupons. Made a scene about something I purchased that the coupon would cover. Very rude to my older mother looking at her up and down like she didn't understand walked off mad and told another employee. A little bummed that the old Kroger off the feeder was closed because driving down 1960 is full of traffic anytime of the day. However, the trade off is a beautiful store with lots of light, spacious aisles (when people aren't standing around with their whole family trying to decide on what box of cereal to buy), and the same great low prices that I enjoy at any given Kroger. My first visit to the new Kroger was by accident. I made some wrong turns and ended up in Humble (I know, How did I do that. . .a story for another blog)! Anyhow, I was supposed to pick up a Rx at the Atascocita Kroger, but after going so far out of my way and almost in Humble, I figured I'd take my chances and see if this new Kroger could transfer the Rx to them for me to pick up. The Pharmacist were very sincere and ensured me that it was no problem at all to get the transfer completed. While I waited for my Rx, I needed a few item, so I had the opportunity to peruse the new store and get acclimated as to where everything is located. Had to hunt for the canned fruit and veggies because their near the health foods, but other than that, the place has a great layout. . .with the exception of: The delicatessen, sushi bar, and the sliced meat and cheese counter. They're pretty much one area, so this section of the store gets pretty crowded. This is an observation I've made after several visits. Overall: Plenty of parking and a Church's chicken as well because we all know shopping makes you hungry! Add to the equation and Kroger gas station, which was not at the last location and this new store gets 5 stars. I guess the move was a great idea after all! read more

This Kroger location is awesome sauce. The employees are always professional and the atmosphere of the store is great. I go here to do all my grocery shopping. The parking lot has plenty of parking, it has it's own gas station, and a good selection of foods in the grocery store. Kroger also has a rewards program where you can enter your reward card or alt id pin to receive discounts on your groceries, the discounts are worth it!! I save a lot of money shopping here. I came in to renew my tag for my car and before I even stepped in line he lady at the customer service desk yells at me " whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!!! Read the sign!!" I look behind me to a sign that says. "Tags out of order!!!" Everyone in line in front of me turns around because she made such a big deal out of it. I've never had a problem when coming to this store. The biggest thing I like about them is their healthy living section is in one section. Most Kroger stores I go to have their healthy living items mixed in and you have to walk all over the store and looks for the green signs. Not a of of that. Also, this store's healthy living section is located right next to the produce which is always a plus in my book. The employees are friendly and helpful and I love the lady who works in the healthy living section, always telling me of the new vegan treats they have. Now the downside is that they don't have a bulk foods section like the new Kroger off the Beltway. The traffic getting to this store is ridiculous if you don't go early in the morning or later at night. read more

I will NEVER shop here again. The staff is absolutely terrible. I live nearby and have shopped here several times because it was convenient, but never again. They are always understaffed, and the staff that they do have normally work extremely slow. The store can be messy at times and I've seen produce or refridgerated goods left on the floor (not on a shelf, but on the floor) while staff just walk by. Tonight was the worst. I had several of the same items in my cart that are usually on a certain promo. We went to self checkout and they didn't ring up at that price so we asked the clerk about it since my husband and I both remember seeing the sign was there. The clerk said he would help, but instead continued to help other customers while we just stood there. After about ten minutes of him not even going to go check the aisle, we decided to leave. I went up to him and said we were sorry but didn't feel like waiting any longer. He didn't even make eye contact with me but just nodded as we walked off. Not even an apology. It was really aggravating. Also, the people that shop here are pretty infuriating. Tonight I saw two regular sized non-disabled people just riding around in the store scooters with their children eating lunchables that had not been paid for yet. I've seen similar customers do this and no one ever says anything to them. Overall, this location has a good selection or produce, but the poor service has deterred me from ever coming back. Maybe the area is just getting worse, but I still don't think that's excusable for such a poorly run store. If you're able to, please just shop somewhere else. I know I will. read more

The was my first trip to Kroger and it was great until the checkout. There was one lane open and a line down the isle. They have a self checkout but there were 10 people waiting for it. There were no baggers and no one to help the cashier. She had to do her own price check. There is a good chance I would not go back because there are so many other places to shop. I waited 15 minutes in line and it sucked. The store is clean and well stocked but not once did anyone say hello! Horrible customer service! UGH! I just realized I bought a tub of Cascade Platinum that did not make it in my bags. This was one of the worst grocery store experiences ever! read more

I really enjoyed this location. This was my first time at this location and from my experience your visits are either good or bad. I went in, the store was kept clean and the shelves were stocked nicely. Some of the staff asked if I needed help. It was a nice place to do some grocery shopping. What I liked the best and what made me head over there was because I acquired a lot of coupons that I needed to spend so I decided to go there and I am glad I did. 3 times in the past year I have had fraudulent charges appear on my credit card within minutes to an hour after using it at this Kroger. This store must have some type of widespread use of skimmers or the equivalent at their point-of-sale machines, or they have a major data security issue that is ongoing with their payment processing system. It's not just me either: do a search for the major Kingwood online community forum and you will find dozens of people reporting the exact same type of credit card fraud after using their cards at Kroger. Unfortunately it's not just this Kroger either, the older Kroger in Kingwood has caused the same types of fraudulent charges to appear on shoppers credit cards immediately after purchases. read more

This store is pretty nice and I switched from Randall's as soon as it opened up. Was going great at first but lately I've been noticing how hateful and rude the employees are especially the cashiers. I never hear those good service bells ding anymore. I know working in a grocery store stinks I mean I did it when I was a teenager but I didn't project my anger and hatred of my job to the customers. Honestly shopping here is like shopping at a Fancy Walmart, in fact I wouldn't be shocked at all if Kroger poached some of the employees from the one next door. It would certainly explain a few things. In short I will no longer be going here unless I need to pick up 1-2 items, for my weekly grocery trips however I think it's worth the drive to go back to Randall's in kingwood, they tend to be a lot more friendly and helpful. read more

I loved the store during my first trip. I was greeted and chauffeured to the closest line. I was able to find things that you can't find at Walmart like Kola Champagne which my family loves; however, if you have 2 too many items for the quick check out you are rudely reprimanded by the cashier even IF there are plenty of other empty lines everywhere and NO ONE standing behind you! Completely unnecessary. You get paid to scan, so please suck it up and do just that! Scan my dear rather than chewing on your nails and giving your patrons dirty looks and rude commentary. You wouldn't have a job if we didn't shop here! I don't know what happened to the original, kinder staff but whoever is doing the hiring now needs to think twice before inviting people in to fill in their open cashier slots. read more

I have nothing positive to say about this location. The staff are not trained -- at all. Customer Service/Money services people didn't know how to operate their registers or the phones; they needed help but couldn't call for anyone. Understaffed and mid-managed. Employees were attentive but worn out and dragged every checkout line to a snail's pace. This place is too stingy to hire more help, or else this is just indicative of how rotten Humble is--can't FIND competent help to hire. AVOID. read more

Worst grocery store ever! Went to pick up items on sale. Loaded up my cart and proceeded to checkout. While checking out, asst mgr... Oatmeal & pimples faced girl, informed me there was a limit on my items, which was not posted. I asked to speak to a mgr, so the mgr w/ a ghetto attitude comes along w/ an out of shaped female security guard. This made me laugh, what were they thinking... that I was stealing something???. So I ask mgr to show me where it says there's a limit on my items. She pulls out the weekly ad and in fine print, legal disclaimer states, "each location can set a specified limit on items." So I pay for my items they ALLOWED me to purchase. So my next question is, why advertise a sale if it's up to the asst mgr and mgrs to determine which customers & what they can purchase. read more

Love this Kroger and I would recommend this store to anyone. They have everything organized and Variety.

Thought I'd swing by and check out the new store on their Grand Opening. It's pretty awesome when compared to the old place. Large aisles, excellent selections of groceries, bakery, deli, produce, meat, etc. They also have a basic selection of just about everything (except furniture), kids clothing, pets supplies, office supplies,etc. We shall see if they have good pricing and sales. They've done a great job on hiring staff who are helpful and knowledgeable about the products available -- especially in the health food section. :) It's nice to see some of the familiar faces from the old store. Makes you feel right at home. Ran into a little trouble at the check out with a pricing issue (I missed some small print on the sales sign), but one of the supervisors came in a got everything taken care of. The kids loved their little (1 penny per ride) horse in the front and the kids shopping carts. Having a gas station to cash in on my Kroger's gas points is a definite plus. Will be stopping by here often. Overall a huge upgrade on the old store. read more

I am doing the self check (I guess for convenience) I advise the so called CS agent that the frozen bread has come up the wrong price. She comes over and asks do you have a Kroger card ? I say no but can you scan the courtesy cards that are usually avail so I can get the best price? She asks do you want it and I say yes but need the card to apply it. She says I can't do that and takes the item off and says continue. I say I will just go to the walk up lines where they will apply a courtesy card to it. I step a few FEET OVER to another lane and have it done with a Lead of some sort who applies the courtesy card frequently kept. I had left phone in car. I waved to her and said hi shorty with thumbs up and said GREAT customer service. Why do some people take these jobs. I guess I did not impress her. read more

I love Kroger #190 this store always have fresh meat and seafood, fresh produce, dairy and bakery products, the organic and natural foods department always has great sales. I love this store this is where I enjoy spending my money, the digital coupons are convenient and tracked by your purchases, and don't forget about the free Friday items and customer service is excellent. May 25 my boyfriend & I went to pick up a cake for his brothers graduation. The cake had been pre ordered & it was supposed to be ready. We told the lady the name we had on the order, she spoke no english & took about 10 minutes to even realize the cake wasn't prepared. So not only was the cake not ready (making us miss almost the entire lunch) we had to wait another 20 minutes. They didn't compensate for the inconvenience one bit. I am very dissatisfied with this location. Maybe I wouldn't have been so upset if the staff seemed sorry or upset but they did not care. My whole family was finished with their meals when we arrived to lunch. Will not be returning! read more
