Oxtails that were on the website that were $16

I ordered over $239 for food I ordered oxtials that on the website were $16.00 per pack ,well they delivered a completely different pack of oxtails they sent pieces of oxtails instead of sending an alert that the product I wanted was out of stock see photo below of what they decided to send me instead. As the cost of food is higher than ever before they have truly lost a customer I reached out to customer service for a refund and the agent email me that she saw this is what I ordered

We gotta do better HEB. I just picked the best head of lettuce to see it's brown inside. If its not good, then don't put it out.

Fresh out the sealed pack...wingless and legless.

WOW! Nothing like going to the grove store AFTER a long day of teaching and coaching. To purchase a Meal Simple rotisserie chicken and get all the way home to see IT HAS NO LEGS OR WINGS!! Then to add insult to injury call back to the store I can't even get a manager on the phone at 7:11pm!! Do Better if everything there is supposed to be better!!!

I would like to take a minute to brag about the floral department at this location. Our daughter recently got married at The Barn at Four Pines Ranch and we decided to use H-E-B for the flowers. Tina did an awesome job with all the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and flower halos. She chose just the right colors to blend well with the raspberry colored bridesmaids dresses. We also had a fishing theme so the boutonnieres had fishing lures incorporated with the flowers. They looked so beautiful! I can't say enough how beautiful they were! They you Tina and anyone else who worked on our flowers, y'all did an awesome job!

While pushing my disabled friend around in a buggy. I was approached by Russell the manager who assumes my friend was not disabled by his looks. Anyone that has family or a loved one disabled can testify looks can be deceiving. He then told us if we wanted to play to go to Kroger's which I believe was a racial slur. As a H-E-B customer since birth I've never been treated so horrible in my life. I will never return to this location.

I've heard of burgers at car washes but never burgers at a grocery store/laundromat. Yep, they own the laundromat next door too. I came mainly for the burger and jalapeno poppers, but sadly they no longer have the latter, not enough people ordered them. I simply ordered a burger basket with onion rings instead of fries, big mistake! The onion ring breading was so rock hard, it hurts my mouth when I tried to bite into them. The burger weighs in at about 1/3 pound and is pressed very thin. It resembles and tastes nearly identical to Whataburger, with exception of one important thing, they use fresh ground beef here. No surprise a lot of Yelpers mention Whataburger in their reviews. My patty was cooked medium, but they don't ask how you want it cooked. The burger normally comes with toasted bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard and mayo. I added sliced, pickled jalapenos for free at the suggestion of the lady taking my order. I also added a 500 mL Mexican Coke and the total came out to about $7. They also use American cheese, so I skipped that. As compared to Hippo burger, which I had to pass just to get here, I like the buns here more, since they hold up well. However, Hippo has a more flavorful beef patty, and it's thick which is my preference. Average service when placing my order, but the man at the cash register was very friendly and seemed like one of the owners. They don't have anywhere to sit down inside, so its definitely to-go only. Next time I come back, I'll try a double burger with fries.

There used to be this one manager, I believe his name was Lonnie who ran the store - he was a decent manager. I haven't seen him in a while but I think he has been replaced by this guy called Butler I think. I had the misfortune of having to deal with this Mr. Butler when I was having an issue with the attitude of the people working in deli. They called Mr. Butler over to help assist me, and he was nothing but unprofessional and rude. He completely disregarded everything I said, looked at me like I was stupid, and when he walked away from me, I overheard him calling me "white trash" to a fellow employee. I knew exactly what he said, and I informed him that I was gonna call corporate for his unprofessional management skills and his racist remark - he just looked at me again like I was stupid and simply walked away. I really do wonder if Kroger actually trains their store managers properly, because I've never been treated in such a way all my years shopping there.

I thought I was waiting patiently for my medication but the pharmacy tech apparently wasn't having a great night. I seen her sorting things and I thought maybe it was more urgent than me waiting in line, but when the pharmacist asked her if she helped me she claimed "I ignored her," which was her reason for making me wait so long, when I didn't even know she spoke to me to begin with so I stood there sickly because she "assumed" I ignored her. Overall i would give the 'pharmacist' 5 stars I would because I appreciate him for his help. But the tech was unprofessional so zero stars to her!!!

With more than 420 stores in Texas and Mexico, the H-E-B grocery company is the fifth largest (by…read morerevenue) privately owned company in the U.S. It was founded in 1905 in Kerryville, Texas and became H-E-B when a successful 2nd store was launched in Del Rio, Texas, using the initials of the owner, Howard Edward Butt. I've experienced their take home Texas barbeque a couple of times, and was excited when my brother let me know that his local H-E-B had a Bayou Boil House (not all do), serving up Louisiana Crawfish boils during the weekend. The stand is located at the front entrance of the store where the carts are located (similarly where a hot dog stand would be if in a Midwestern store). It is manned by two H-E-B employees, with coolers stocked with the already cooked seafood and vegetables. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived an hour before closing (closing at 6pm), they were out of crawfish (would have been $6.97 per pound). Instead we got shrimp (headless and deveined, shell-on for $12.97 per pound), with corn and potatoes ($2.97 per pound), sausage ($7.97 per pound). Snow Crab would have been $16.97, though I never think it is worth it. It is all mixed together in a large durable plastic bag. We brought it back home, and I ended up eating it for dinner and the following breakfast. Everything was really good: nothing was overcooked (i.e. mealy or mushy), the sausage was a good andouille, and the old bay type seasoning was just right. They could definitely elevate it up a couple of notches if replicating a Viet-Cajun sauce, that is very popular in the Houston area. But as it is, definitely a winner...along with their Texas brisket, makes me wish an H-E-B was visitable from where we live.
