This is My Favorite HEB. I live in Tulsa,Ok and come to Texas to see my Grandsons. I really look forward to going to my HEB. I was raised in Texas & miss not having HEB to shop at. Well today I ran into the RUDEST PERSON in Cypress, Texas. I walked up to the Meat Market Counter to select 4 Filet Migon's for my Daughter's Birthday. I guess this lady in her ugly green tight dress with her Mammy Arms, in her wee little mind must have thought I was trying to cut inline, when I was merely trying to look at the Filets on display that she was so inconsiderately blocking. I have never heard such rude stuff come out of a person's mouth at a Grocery Store. I heard her mouthing some ugly stuff and totally ignored her. Because with what she was saying I knew she couldn't be talking to me. At this point I had never made eye contact with this crazy person. She got her 4 little lamb lollipops, which looking at the size of her... was probably just an appetizer. If that was going to be her dinner she would have had to double up. She went on and I headed to the Bakery to select a Birthday cake for my Daughter, out of the corner of my eye I saw that tight ugly green dress and that lady was mouthing ugly stuff directed at me so rudely that the Lady in the Bakery said what's wrong with her and apologized for her actions. Not bad, but you can't ever help the feeling nothing but rage when you walk into an H-E-B. The store is laid out completely wrong. Cold stuff is always first so you have to start in the middle and then work your way out and walk the entire damn store to get to the cold stuff. This is like getting in your car without the keys and trying to go somewhere. Just doesn't make sense. I will say all of the staff are completely friendly. Even though they are younger because they are mostly high school students, they're very very helpful. So props to them for that. Not bad for only being half a mile away. I would prefer Kroger. But that is a longer drive and I am lazy ha ha. Usually, they're out of stock on a lot of items, but with the new H-E-B open on Bridgeland Parkway. Hopefully this will alleviate the supply chain problems. So in conclusion, not all bad not all good. I will still give them four stars just for the staff. The kids are super nice. I love this HeB location. Although I was only there to pick up some smoothie making supplies, I had a very pleasant experience. It was crowded but since I had a few items I could use the self checkout. I like the fact that their self checkout is combined with a real person at the end to help if any issues arise. I used the app to find some items that I couldn't locate on my own and went right to them. Thumbs up to HeB cypress. read more

On December 21, 2023, at 11:32am after visiting three stores in search of fresh, beautiful oxtails, I was ready to give up and change my menu. Then I called H-E-B, and Ms. Claudia answered. When I explained my need, she said the magic words, "Yes, I can help you." When I arrived, Mr. Chris greeted me warmly and assured me it wouldn't take long to receive my package, which Mr. Rolando promptly provided. Fresh clean and faced all the time. Classic to the HEB standards with several good and fun employees. Down side, the employees take the best and closest parking spaces. I just noticed that my previous review for HEB was for the other location not this one. (24224 Northwest Fwy, Cypress, TX 77429) It's ok- both H-E-B stores are fantastic. If you live outside of TEXAS- you are missing out. I normally go to the other location more than this one; only because I know the lay out better. At this location I have to search for things sometimes. The selection at HEB is amazing. I don't have anything negative to say about H-E-B. They are " ROCKSTARS". I'm an H-E-B fan, maybe it's the local branding and products, the yellow coupons, or maybe just the biased Texan in me, but H‑E‑B is truly the best grocery store there is. This location is the closest to my house, so I frequent here a lot, especially Sunday mornings/afternoons. I like this H-E-B because they do a great job to keep much of their inventory stocked, so I've always found what I needed without problem. On Sundays, they have a live Saxophonist playing some easy listening yacht rock jams, to help instantly put you in a happy mood to go along with sample Sundays galore as you stroll around! Very poor service. A young Latino man on Thanksgiving morning between 11:00am and 11:30am at the Self Service check out nearest the Pharmacy. OMG he was so rude to several customers. He was reluctant to assist an Asian couple who was obviously having issues with the scanner. The HEB employee act as if he didn't want to be at work. IT'S NOT THE CUSTOMER's fault he's having a bad day. I asked him a question about the credit card machine and he rolled his eyes and something about "clear it and start over." The cashier was not professional. She scanned my things and passed to the bagging guy. He pu them in the bad and left. After I paid, I told the cashier about my things that were left. She sai that these were not mine And they wer left over by other customers. But , I told her these are mine because I chose them for my recipe and I don't see in my bags. She was confused making a sVenezuelan allowing other customers to interfere with bad comments about me. I asked her to call the manager. When he came she started crying and left running away. I asked them to check the camera and see that I came with these things He checked the receipt and found them . I was humiliated by unprofessional service in this place. All of the HEBs in Houston are all so, so, so freakin' different. My favorite inside the loop is HEB montrose - love their cold press juices and all the eye candy. At this HEB, it's newer, bigger, and offers a great selection of everything... everything! My biggest surprise late last year was discovering their cakes, particularly the strawberry butter cream cake. The family went nuts over that cake. And now, each time I see it sitting in the HEB display, my tastebuds do a little dance. read more

I love shopping at this location and I drive past one to get here! Its pretty new and always stocked with the items that I need. The store closest to me is always out of some of the items that i need. It seems larger and more modern than the other one and they always have what I need. Just like other groceries, they have samples from sushi to wine! They also have the drive up orders where you order online or from their app. I haven't tried that yet but I will in the near future. I will continue shopping there as there is no reason for me to switch. read more

This review is a review of the curbside pickup experience I have had at HEB. Yesterday, I ordered express curbside, even paid the $4.95 express pickup fee so I will be able to get my groceries a bit sooner. Well, that was a big waste of my money. I received notification that my groceries were ready for pickup, so i head to the store. The store parking lot was insanely crowded, and no curbside spaces were open so i call HEB from my car asking them what i should do, I was told to drive around and wait for a spot to open up. So i did. Then, when i park i follow the directions to text my spot to a number and they will be out. Well about 10 minutes later a staff member comes to me and says they accidentally gave my groceries to someone else. He apologized and recommended i come back in about 10-20 minutes. I said well, this took me a long time to get a curbside spot so I will just wait. 30 minutes later I get my groceries. I appreciate the apology but, never will i order HEB curbside again and certainly never paying the "express- get your groceries faster" $4.95 fee either. I wish they at least credited that back to me. Target, help HEB, you all know how to do curbside and HEB needs a lot of improvement (at least this location does). read more

Bagger Dan is the worst! Had cupcakes special ordered for my daughter's birthday. Took the utmost of caution in picking up and placing in cart isolated from any other purchases. Cashier was also careful when scanning and passing on for bagging. When afore mentioned bagger (Dan) was bagging my groceries, he just threw them in the cart, resulting in turned over ruined cupcakes. Managers didn't seem to care and had to get cold, old cupcakes from the ready made section of the bakery. Colors didn't match party theme but had to make something work. If anything you are purchasing is fragile or can't be easily replaced make sure you don't use a check out lane with a grouchy elderly man with white hair as the bag boy. I read more

I will give this location one star for Espindola g to my email within 24 hours. I cannot say anything else positive about this store. For weeks they had far less selection than the Kroger store just down the road. All that became trivial compared to my experience yesterday when no less than ten customers were walking through the store without masks and not observing physical distances. When I complained to a manager I was told it was not "enforceable". Crazy, the same store managed to enforce rules about quantities of products sold for weeks! Also, other locations do enforce the mask order so I guess those locations care more about customer safety. read more

My 86 year-old father wanted to get my mother a birthday cake for her 85th birthday. My father, who is easily confused and often gets lost when he drives, went to the closest grocery store (my HEB) and ordered a cake. He returned and picked up the cake on the morning of my mother's birthday; when the cake was handed to him, it had a crack in the icing so he asked if they could fix it. They fixed the crack, he checked out, and before he got to the front door, the cake looked like it does in the picture below. My father had paid for the cake and didn't fully understand why the cake looked like it did, so he took the cake home to his wife. They bakery knew what was going to happen to their poorly-made, dry, coconut icing, the cashier had to see the condition of the cake, but no one offered to make it right. No words can express how my mother and I felt when we saw and tasted how HEB had taken advantage of my father. I have shopped in HEB for over 30 years and am beyond disappointed in their lack of responsibility and customer care. read more

Totally love this HEB! It's so close to the housing development community where I live (Bridgeland) and other communities like cypress creek lakes and towne lakes. The store is massive for a grocery store and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only reason I took off one star is because they can be very wasteful when bagging groceries. I understand that the grocery baggers are trained to bag each type of item separately, but that ends up using tons of plastic bags that lost consumers don't even want. I'm sure that if the management told the baggers to use less bags, customers wouldn't care and they would save money. But it would also be helpful if they trained their employees to have a protocol for when they shopped has their own reusable bags and wants to bag their own groceries for simplicity; I know that's what I prefer to do, but the problem is they are paid to do that and end up awkwardly standing there watching over your shoulder. The Curb Side Ordering does not work. Over a week ago I ordered some toilet paper and I picked a date that was over a week away. I got several emails saying: My Scheduled Date Is .... Your personal shopper is carefully selecting and packing your order.... And then on the Scheduled date, I get a call saying they don't have it and they can give me cheaper toilet paper. This HEB looks a lot like the Fairfield location. I'll be coming here for my TIGI hair products (2/$20) and staples like organic milk (currently $3.98/gallon). There's plenty of parking and the checkout lanes are nearly all open. Some kid friendly perks: HEB bucks and miniature shopping carts. I love my new HEB! read more

there is certainly no food desert out in west Houston/cypress. for every HEB that's gone up, a Kroger or Walmart is within a mile. but this location was an obvious starting point for up-and-coming Bridgeland, I expect another along 99 in the future near Bridgeland's new town Center, mark my words. this location is just about identical to the one on 290 by the outlet mall, expect for a few aisle locations like the chips/soda for example on the north (left) side. gas price wise, this location is typically 5% more than the 290 location, but not that that matters unless you have an SUV/truck...oh wait, everyone out here does and I used to! not that gas price factors into a rating, but just a side-note. one particularly noticeable difference is undoubtably the service. I mean this place kills it. excellent kids working here. for sure more knowledgeable, motivated and respectful by a bit than any HEB around other than fry/99 down in Katy. I realise it has to do with the neighbourhood, so let's just say Bridgeland does pretty well. but these people consistently go out of the way to help, typical of HEB, but it's really apparent here, at least in the short time it's been open. service is important in a grocery store, because I'm sure we've all had a time where we couldn't find something. for example, compare service here vs a Walmart. yea, thought so. even compared to Kroger, sorry disco/ghetto/posh Kroger, and for the record, central market, ie HEB, is better than the revamped disco Kroger. price wise here, in general, I find they have better prices than anywhere, even with better quality, service and cleanliness. I mean most HEBs, not just here. for example, for the last 10 years, the HEB brand pistachios have always been the lowest around by at least 10%, usually by 40%. they have many of their own generic brands which mostly are the same quality, but not all things are created equal, for example baby wipes from HEB shed/fall apart vs pampers. overall, quality, service and local products bring me back, especially when I need 'good things' like fresh produce, fancy cheeses or generic HEB brand products. read more

The customer service, the produce and the floral department here are all superb! I love it when it is pomegranate season because they always have the best POM brand pomegranates and other exotic fruits that are of great quality. HEB is definitely our proffered grocer! I also ordered some flower arrangements from them last week for my small wedding ceremony, and they were so flexible and made the arrangements for me in my own vases. I paid about $60 for two very nice arrangements. The floral department rep also added some curly willow in the vase for me at no extra charge. Hopefully once my morning sickness and pregnancy sickness goes away, I'll be able to shop more comfortably and write more notes on their bakery, fish dept, etc. But definitely zero complaints from me so far. Veggies and fruits are decent. Meat is awful...chicken, grass and conventional steaks, HEB brand ground beef...not worth it.

It pains me to write this because we love H-E-B, but this location is somewhat disappointing, considering it's location to prominent communities like Bridgeland, Cypress Creek Lakes, Towne Lake & Blackhorse Ranch. Don't get me wrong...it's a good, clean store with friendly employees, and good prices. Where it misses the mark is in product selection. Their vegetable produce section is pretty "basic." Parsnips? Nope. Celeriac? Nope. Purple or White Sweet Potatoes? Nope. Other aisles have maybe one option for any given item, and unfortunately seems to be the lesser quality. Would like a better selection of produce like the 290 & Barker Cypress location...and the Kroger right down the road that absolutely KILLS it in the produce department. I had high hopes for this location when it was announced, but I'm left feeling underwhelmed. read more

HEB is definitely my preferred grocer!!!!! The variety of fresh produce is abundant (though this location lacks the label printers that some of the other Market stores offer), they sell some of my favorite gourmet cheeses (Manchego, Iberico, Gouda, Raclette, etc), they have good deals on CM organic gallon milk, and they offer a greater variety of fresh juices than my usual HEB at Park Row 8 miles down the road. However, I was disappointed that they didn't carry Jumex's large juice boxes (which my regular HEB and even the posh Bunker Hill Market carries), and their generic Apple Crisp soda was sold out too (smh ). This location does NOT include a Café on the Run, which includes a salad bar and freshly-made healthy, yummy entrées (though they do have a HUGE prepared meals section, which are freshly made from scratch on-site). Overall, the store offers everything that I expect for my needs (and occasionally, whims too)!!!!! I was surprised to find sauerkraut Pierogi on their Kosher Frozen Foods section (I have a bit of Polish in me); their beer and wine is also sophisticated and abundant, and they even have a steward on-duty that offers free samples (ID required though ); they have 2/$1 deals on select bottled sodas (I'm Mexican, so I took a six-pack bundle of Sidral and Sangria to make up for the lack of Apple Crisp can soda); their Healthy Living is larger than the one on Park Row, and this one includes natural body products AND a nut grinding station to create spread from peanuts and almonds (I'll get a bit of almond butter next time). What I didn't expect to find at this location is a Texas Backyard section, which sells flowers, grills, and all sorts of outdoor deco paraphernalia. I love HEB because I can get my needs and whims (most of them, at least) for a reasonable price!!!!!!! read more
