WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS! AHHH FIESTA!!!! Although I don't shop at Fiesta often, I know that I can always find fresh okra when all else fails! True story; every year during the Christmas Holiday I cook gumbo for my family. During this time of year, I can never find okra at any of the local grocery stores that I shop at regularly like Kroger, Sprout, or HEB. However, it never fails when I head to Fiesta for fresh okra, they always, always, always have fresh bright green okra in stock! For this, I am truly grateful! Furthermore, I absolutely love their International aisle because they provide so many of the Jamaican and Latin seasonings that I love to use in my foods such as, scotch bonnet pepper powder/hot sauces, Adobo, Sazon, Sofrito, Curry powder, Jollof seasonings, and more. Moreover, they also sell hot cooked items that are very delicious and fulfilling. The prices for their cooked items are pretty reasonable, not too expensive. You can also find a young gentleman preparing freshly squeezed orange juice daily near the produce section. The cost for a container of this juice is $10 which may seem pricey, but you have to keep in mind that it's freshly squeezed without any added preservatives or sugars. It's all natural and healthier which means more bucks versus a regular jug of Minute Maid or Dole orange juice which contains all of the unwanted preservatives and added sugars at a cheaper price. Overall, Fiesta is my go-to for fresh okra and International items because they are always fully stocked and available. I gave them four stars based solely on how well they maintain their produce section and their International aisle. read more

Great store for produce -- particularly for Mexican dishes. I'm on a salsa making kick and Fiesta just has better tomatillos and fresh peppers than regular supermarkets. They have huge bags of dried chilies for far less than than I've paid online or at Sprouts. Other prices were very good for sweet peppers and meat. Clean store with many options. About 7 pounds of produce, 2 pounds of dried chilies, 3 pounds of meat and more for about $42. Amazing. I wish I spoke Spanish, but the woman and I at the meat counter communicated just fine. It was very cool to visit this fiesta it was so nice and clean. I've visited one other fiesta and didn't quite like that one it wasn't as clean as this one. The employees were nice and friendly it's always good to see smiling faces when visiting an establishment. The meat here was fresh and they have a variety to choose from which I loved. I had been searching for the vanilla Swiss miss pudding and guess what I found it here at fiesta, I was so excited I stacked up on them feels good to know that there's a place I can go and get one of my favorite sweet treats when I want it. I thought they had discontinued this item it was that hard to find in stores. If anyone from Fiesta read this review please keep that item available for purchase. They have a nice variety of fresh produce. You can usually find one or more brands of soft drink or flavored water on-sale. Fiesta Marts sales prices are also typically more aggressive than their competitors. I always appreciate a good product at a fair price. I have no problem with recommending Fiesta Mart to anyone. read more

In this area of Katy, if you want a one-stop grocery shop you're choosing between Kroger and Fiesta. Both have a pretty good selection of just about all the things you need. This location is pretty clean, and decently organized despite being super crowded (it was Sunday). My experience with Fiesta is a little bit more limited, but a few of the things they have that I like (in comparison to Kroger): 1. All the chicharrones. 2. A lady scraping cactus for your benefit. 3. A larger, busier, cheaper seafood counter. Busy is good (means fresh). 4. 69 cent bottles of Valentina, one of my favorite hot sauces. 5. A more comprehensive selection of fresh meat (unfrozen, unpackaged, unseasoned, unmarinated) at the butcher counter. I like to marinate my own meat, thank you very much. But if you just want something ready to throw on the grill, they have these huge red chorizo sausages that are money. read more

Stopped in to this fiesta and was blown away by the food being cooked outside so much to choose from. They've got crawfish at $5.99 and shrimp at $7.99. The nice lady I met Carol was so sweet actually had me try it before I paid just to make sure it wasn't too spicy for me. Service you can appreciate and I was just going grocery shopping but was drawn in by the convenience and the delicious smells as I walked through the doors. My friendly neighborhood Fiesta! This is my go-to grocery store for the things I need. I like to cook a number of different cultural cuisines (from Mexican to Indian) and Fiesta hasn't let me down yet in terms of the items they carry! Clean store, great prices, fresh produce, and a great meat/fish selection! Every visit is a unique experience as well! From the mariachi band, to the live band playing inside of the store, to the tasting tents... As if you needed any other excuse to go shopping! ;) read more

I was really excited when I saw they were building a fiesta near me, it is within walking distance from home and looked huge so I figured I would be able to get everything I normally need with less hassle, but I have been very disappointed. Maybe the biggest problem for me are the prices. Everything is more expensive than HEB, Kroger and Walmart, not by much, but enough to make a long term commitment here cost significantly more. I thought I can justify these slightly higher prices by saving gas money through proximity, but I did some quick math and that was false too. I don't think many people want to pay more unless there's a legitimate reason, like target vs Walmart for example, is worth it for the better customer care, quality and freshness in general. If I don't care about any of those things and just need something fast, then Walmart for proximity, price and availability of products. However the only good thing here is proximity and customer service, not enough when they don't even have what I need. And no discount fuel like heb/Kroger. Also I do appreciate the store brand products which are mostly the same at a lower price than the name brand, but fiesta doesn't even do that. The second big thing is product availability, how is it they never seem to have what I need? The international section here isn't even as big as nearby HEBs or Krogers, which is a major drawback. I can't tell you how many times I've had a short dinner list and had to leave because they didn't have something (several times). Also the quality of the products. Take a simple thing like a churro. I've had better churros from gas stations, heck even at jack in the box. They tasted very old so this was the 3rd and final time I've tried them. Fiesta not only rarely has the products I need but they are always overpriced, like shopping at a CVS/Walgreens. I'll drive slightly further, thank you. read more

I read a few reviews before coming and was cautious. The seafood area smelled a little of rotten fish. The fish all looked fresh but the smell is off putting and I wouldn't buy seafood here/ the staff I encountered were all polite Ri friendly, no issues there. Now ... the wait for checkout... HORRENDOUS!!!!! The wait is unacceptable. I feel like, I'm typing this while standing in a line, but I feel like I'm back in the 70's when they didn't have digital registers. Fiesta ..z this ain't it. Fiesta should hire an efficiency expert to help them figure out this checkout situation. We ended up bagging our own groceries. I doing know if this is store policy because we just followed the example of the couple in line in front of us. I have developed a special appreciation for this Fiesta, due to them having turkey wings already chopped up and packaged. I found that to be a blessing. As a kid we would go into Fiesta here and there but it never was our "go to" grocery store. So the question I had to ask myself before starting this review is, why should one choose Fiesta? Then I had to ponder what would I call an enjoyable grocery store experience??? So, with having to go for my turkey wings, I've taken advantage of the opportunity to shop for a few other things while in the store. I've notice there a few international aisles that has food from various countries. Items are also easy to find in the store. Also, I haven't had to struggle with long lines due to only 2 lines being open. I've found Fiesta to be a great place to shop. read more

Horrible staff! I just want to say who ever was running the area where I'm suppose to renew my registration sticker on 5/30/22 @ 3:30pm was beyond rude and stupid. She refused to do my sticker because she claimed my vehicle was not registered in Harris county, my vehicle has been registered in Harris county for years. She said I needed to go to the tax office in the county I live in which is Harris county! When I asked to speak to a manager so maybe they could help she said they didn't have one, when I asked for her name she said she couldn't give it to me. The crazy thing is I already renewed one of my stickers for another vehicle in this same fiesta so what's the problem now? Train your staff for their poor customer service. read more

This store was clean, well organized and full of energy. It actually was exciting to go shopping here. The variety of products was very good. A nice selection of international products along with more familiar products. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to ask to find one holiday specialty item and they knew right where it was. They were happy to help me even though they were very busy keeping the shelves stocked with fresh products. I saw management interacting positively with workers. The produce and meat departments put KROGER, H-E-B and WAL-MART to shame. There was so much selection here! Fiesta got rebranded?! The new logo threw me off guard as I wasn't sure if this was the same Fiesta Mart as the one with the beloved bird logo. Since this one is brand new, the inside is shiny and new as the outside. The aisles are larger, and it is very clean and non-smelly like the other stores. Lots of bargain priced items like the other stores. I came here looking for crawfish, when 3-4 other stores I called were sold out last weekend. The lady who answered the phone was very nice. Will come back again to pick up more crawfish this season, hopefully! read more

This is a very clean and well organized store. Whenever I come here, I always find what I'm looking for. Meats are reasonably priced and so is produce. There's also an assortment of international food options if you are looking to serve up an ethnic dish. The pre-packaged items seem to slightly higher than average but that's the only downside. Also, (and this is extremely important) you're not going to find very long lines. Management does an excellent job to ensure that shoppers are not waiting a long time to get checked out. read more

Stopped in the weekend that they opened and have been going back ever since. The store is new with wide aisles and an excellent selection. Many more sale priced items than other Fiesta stores. The manager Raoul runs a tight ship and almost every aisle has someone working in it plus the store itself has a festive atmosphere. My two main focus areas are the produce section and the seafood department. Both are excellent. I use this store as my main grocery and Kroger as a backup now. read more

I got my phone repair here in the Tech section. Upon receiving my phone, It had a bigger damage than it had when I gave it to them. They tried to convince me that the damage was there before the received it. On top of that, I received the phone days later than I was promised and they tried to charge me more. read more

I went there with my 6 month old son on Monday because they had a good price on chicken breasts. As we are checking out, my baby is asleep in his carseat in the back of the grocery cart. The cashier bluntly asks "what is wrong with the baby's head?" I explain to her that he is wearing a helmet to correct a flat spot on his head. The woman then tells me that my baby "has been cursed by the Gods" and that in her country " babies heads are wrapped in a scarf for 40 days to prevent that". At this point my blood is boiling and there were a bunch of things I could like to say to this cashier. I ended up taking the high road and told her that I believe God gives us the children we are meant to have and we were meant to have this one. I understand that I am supposed to be sensitive to others cultures but doesn't that go both ways? Who the heck thinks it is OK to tell a customer that their infant has been cursed by the Gods? It seems that Fiesta needs to do some SERIOUS training with their staff. That was both by first and last experience at that store. My "cursed" baby and I will shop elsewhere from now on. read more
