Curbside is completely unreliable, you will consistently receive rotten food. Walking the isles on multiple occasions and stacks of refrigeration only foods sitting out with no one stocking. I've come home with Mootopia milk with expiration a month away that was completely rotten. On other occasions, rotten produce was stocked for customers. Today, I used curbside and received two packages of rotten pepperoni that unfortunately my child started eating before I knew they were spoiled. This store is completely negligent and needs to be inspected immediately by the health department. read more

I'm a huge fan of HEB. The store is gigantic, but it has so many offerings. I like the fresh foods and meals. What I really like on the dried fruits that are offered in bulk. I could make my own trail mix. Every time I come to Houston, this is one of my stops. Incredible grocery store. read more

I can't say enough great things about the bakery department! I went with my mom to order a cake for my bridal shower. I had a couple ideas I had saved from Pinterest. The woman who assisted us was extremely helpful and also suggested some ideas of her own. We got so many compliments on the cake! The flavor was amazing and the design simple and elegant enough for the occasion. I was also surprised by the price of the cake. Horrible customer service. I go to the " self checkout line " today ( March 3rd) at 4:49 on the left side of the store that's closer to the end of the parking lot A. The older Caucasian gentlemen who was working didn't greet me and didn't bag my items when on the opposite side there was another older Caucasian lady and he gladly greeted her and bagged her items while he continued just to stare off at me??? Drove 30 minutes to shop at the HEB in Fairfield this morning to keep from sitting in the Renaissance traffic on fm 1488 and ended up getting spoiled meat that was suppose to be fresh cut. Contacted the store and spoke to the manager, his attitude and demeanor showed he was not concerned at all that his store was selling spoiled meat. Will not shop at this location again that is for sure. read more

This location has severely been lacking with any sort of cleaning guidelines which is very concerning especially when it comes to proper sanitization protocols, health department and COVID-19. The hand sanitizer and cart wipes are never restocked so sanitizing your hands or your cart is never an option for customers at this location. The dairy isle smells absolutely HORRID like a deceased animal and the amount of mold or other substances around the milk, trays and glass is also VERY concerning. When does someone take accountability for this? It's been like this for months and only gets worse. Do better HEB. read more

Poorly stocked the day before a holiday. So many employees shopping for drive up or delivery with their huge carts that customers shopping in person can barely get through the produce or meat departments. Tons of frozen turkeys but if you want a ham you only have a choice from maybe 4 total. Two packages of unripe strawberries unless you want the more expensive "organic" strawberries. What grocery store doesn't have ham hocks to season your black eyed peas with for New Year's Day?! H-E-B that's who! Stopped by this H-E-B on the way to Austin to fill up and to get some water and energy drinks. This H-E-B is pretty big. And the proximity to the outlet mall and another shopping center makes this location pretty busy. However, finding parking was not an issue; and despite how busy this H-E-B was, the majority of the cash registers was open. This means I didn't even have to wait in line to pay for my stuff. It was a quick in and out shopping experience for me. Can't complaint. read more

I'm trying to get aHEB of myself on Yelp by posting reviews as I visit places but it's not working. In general I like H-E-B but I'm not a big fan of this one. Some of the groceries and produce weren't really great. Service was just okay. They used to have a bubble tea shop in here which was really really bad. I'm pretty sure it's gone out of business now - still it's definitely worth a trip over here for some local produce from a texas-based chain that has pretty good products - especially the fruit juices. read more

She is the sweetest HEB employee I've ever met and I just wanted to come to a platform where I could give her a shout out in hopes that the store manager views it. I was somewhat stranded without my cell phone in Cypress. (Long story) But she, without hesitation....assisted me in locating the person who had my cell phone. We love HEB overall, but the floral department needs a reset. We used HEB floral for our wedding in Spring 2024. I went with HEB floral because they were insanely cheaper than the other floral vendors. The price was great, but that was about it. April is the head of the floral department at this Cypress location and trains other florists in the greater Houston area. She is good at what she does, but she has terrible communication. You cannot get a hold of her by email, phone, or in person. I still have an unanswered email from a month ago. Prior to my wedding, I told her I would supply the vasesfor the centerpieces. When I followed up 3 days before our wedding to see where HEB floral would like the vases in order to complete the centerpieces, they told me that I only had a bulk order. Cue me pulling up my email from ONE YEAR AGO- stating that I would like the centerpieces assembled by them. Erin, who I met in person at HEB was clearly irritated, but I chalked this up to irritation at April, who clearly missed my request in writing, in the email from one year ago when I booked them for my wedding day. April had booked another wedding on our date and was working at that venue. Erin delivered our florals to the venue and I was so excited to see how they turned out. I asked for one white rose, one ruscus, and babysbreath fanned out around. I showed April an example pic (one my mom and I assembled so it was exactly what I wanted) and printed one off to go in the file. The pieces were cut extremely short- think of a snowcone... for a wedding centerpiece. After my mom and I voiced that the centerpieces were not how they should be, Erin caught an attitude and said "well we weren't even supposed to do them." When I attempted to call April for a solution, she did not answer. April ended up calling me 30 minutes later and told me that she would give me a 100% refund and send 2 people back with fresh florals to redo the centerpieces. My family that arrived to the wedding early ended up fixing the centerpieces and I was only refunded 25%. I would NOT recommend HEB florals by April. Save yourself the headache and stress. 0/10. read more

Was gifted a Vanilla gift card from another location where I am not local - gift card was not activated. Went to this location hoping they could help, but not even a budge was made to assist. Customer service girl was adamant that the card had been activated. I assured her when you called the number on the back, the automated message indicated it never had been. She wouldn't call the back to verify, nor would she call the Vanilla vendor to even try to help. Standing in the floral department, I called the store it was purchased - the mgr there was helpful but said I would have to come to the store. I called Vanilla myself, they indicated the card had a balance BUT was compromised and would need to send another card. Within 10 minutes, the issue was resolved and I have a new card on the way. 10 minutes this location could have called and resolved my issue, as a long-term and loyal customer. First and last time at this H‑E‑B. I went in to buy a can of formula and bottles for my 2 small babies. I tried to check out in the self check out lane and didn't realize that the baby bottles were on clearance (which was a wonderful surprise) so a manager had to come over to check me out. The manager said the clearance sticker was expired and the people who make clearance stickers only work overnight so he took the bottles back and told me to try again tomorrow. He didn't even offer to bring me another set of bottles. He literally took the bottles, said try again tomorrow and left like I didn't have hungry babies? I don't get mad at a lot of things because there is worse things happening in the world but that situation was not okay. read more

Every day is Tex-Fest! I came here for Tex-Fest, a festival of savings at every HEB across the state. They celebrate all things Texas. I was on the hunt for Texas shaped chicken nuggets. Score! The beer selection here is to be remembered. Remember the Alamo? They have that beer, along with all kinds of local beers and beers from across the state. It's cool how they put all the local microbrews together in the same spot in the cooler. It's the coolest! They have a tortilla maker right there in the store, where they serve up warm tortillas all day long. The produce section is larger than Texas! It's big. They had a special on Texas-made salsas for Tex Fest. If you use the app, and combo that with a coupon, you get the salsas for free! Wooot! The store is clean, and they have a huge diverse selection of stuff, rivaling any other store in the city. This place is awesome! The best part is the app- you can check out the savings before you even walk in the door! Parking is easy with a huge dedicated lot! read more

I find myself in this location all the time. It's in a good location first off, easy on and off the highway. It has the best deals compared to other HEBs, which I'll get in to later. There is more international stuff here than any HEB around except HEB plus down in Katy and central market. And always the lowest gas price anywhere. Firstly a huge plus are their coupons posted everywhere, they are crazy diligent about this, and I feel like most of the stuff I would buy anyway also has a yellow coupon attached with a great deal. A specific example is diaper prices, they always have a coupon for the brand we like (pampers) that gives at least a 5$ lower price vs any store, including Walmart. You won't see this at other HEBs with such absurd consistency. It's different things all the time, but I always seem to get lucky here. Their international shelves stock more stuff than any store I know, a huge plus for me particularly. Middle eastern food, for example, is really stocked here, from rosewater to lentils to basmati rice, this location is the standard. Another silly reason is the coldness of their drinks. They keep them colder than any other HEB, just test this theory yourself. I mean the drinks in the refrigerators by check out. Yea those are not only .50 cents store brand, but super cold, nice. This rating is for the curbside pickup. I think they are still working out the kinks so I won't knock them down a star. One order we were given someone else's items. A whole bag full of stuff. We returned it the next time but then they left two items off of our order so we had to drive back up there to get them. It's not close about 20 minutes so that was a big downfall of the curbside pick up. Other than that they bring the order out within a few minutes of when you pull up and all the items have been picked out well. The inside of the store is always clean and easy to find things. Pretty sure they will work out the problems with curbside and that's not a regular occurrence. The first three pickups were free but normally they charge $4.95 per pickup. read more

This is the HEB in my old neighborhood. One of my kids worked here in High School and I walked through it's doors at least 3 times a week for years. My family is from South Texas so we have frequented HEB almost exclusively if one is within range. Store are bright and cheery, customer service is excellent, and selection is as good as other stores. My only complaint and it always been there is they deli area always has a funky smell that never seems to go away. Selection is good and I love the Gulf Shrimp and the fact they are vertically integrated with their produce. Canned good are canned goods and they are no better or worse at any grocery store. But meat and produce is why HEB is the best. read more

This is the closest HEB to my place, but I will avoid going there because this store is not enforcing the mask policy as other HEB locations do. I was in Austin area two weeks ago, right after Gov. lifted the mask mandate. 100% of customers were wearing masks in all three different HEB locations I went. When I came home last week and went this HEB (Fairfield) twice since then, and both time, approximately 10% of customers were not wearing masks. I understand that it may not be easy to enforce HEB's store rules to all the customers after the mask rule became no longer the state mandate, but please do your best to protect other customers and all the nice employees of this location. read more

Love our Fairfield H-E-B, and really am loving their new Curbside Groceries! I order everything online, make the purchase, arrive at my allotted timeframe, let them know I'm there, they come out to my vehicle right away, we discuss any possible substitutions, they pack the groceries into my vehicle...and Boom...just like that, I'm done with grocery shopping...and I never left my vehicle. There's a $4.95 fee for the service, but IMO, it's wellllll worth it. Additionally, the Curbside shopping attendants and personal shoppers have been stellar. Even working with me on my last order that I was in a hurry to complete. When I realized I needed to make some changes and forgot to make notes on a few of the items, I called, and they were frankly exactly "as you would hope they would be"...patient and willing to help. Since this location has opened here in my neighborhood of Fairfield, I have been here every weekend for my grocery needs and it has been great! They have a great selection of meat and veggies. The fruit is nice and doesn't have gnats flying around it like other nearby grocery "marts" I shopped at. They always have samples to taste, and they actually have more than one person working the deli meat counter. High five for that! I personally like the fact that First Community Credit Union opened a branch in the store, so this is SUPER convenient since I do a lot of banking with them. They have a gas station and car wash in the parking lot as well, so this is nice and handy, but i have to admit, I prefer Bucee's car wash. :) read more

Huge Easy Busy This place is extremely spacious... so if you are ready to spend a few minutes in this store, wear your walking shoes! Obviously, new HEBs are starting to pop up in Houston.. this one is the newest and biggest one as of 2012. Produce is on the right side of the store so if you are there strictly for that, park on the right side of the store. You will then go up and down the aisles until you check out. I'm thoroughly shocked to see that this grocery store has a 4 star rating. I came in to pick up some healthy snacks to find that an entire wall of produce wasn't even stocked! They pulled down some curtains over it. No H-E-B brand sugar peas to be found. I love the fresh H-E-B orange juice right when you walk in. But upon purchase, I took a sip on the way out the door only to discover they used oranges that had gone bad to make the juice. H-E-B is normally my grocery store of choice.
