I'm thoroughly shocked to see that this grocery store has a 4 star rating. I came in to pick up some healthy snacks to find that an entire wall of produce wasn't even stocked! They pulled down some curtains over it. No H-E-B brand sugar peas to be found. I love the fresh H-E-B orange juice right when you walk in. But upon purchase, I took a sip on the way out the door only to discover they used oranges that had gone bad to make the juice. H-E-B is normally my grocery store of choice. But you can bet I'll never stop here again. read more

This a Stand Alone H-E-B with it's own HUGE parking lot! It is not sharing the property with anyone! It is an H-E-B with EVERYTHING H-E-B offers, some do not! It is very close to my residence with easy safe entry and exits! Been a huge fan of H-E-B since I first came to Texas, even the small local H-E-B stores ;-) Keep Up the Good Work! read more

Best meat department in NW Houston! Several awesome and creative products that most grocery meat departments don't offer such as chicken ticklers, cajun kisses, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, steak burgers... the list goes on!! Also a fan of the HEB ready-to-pop-in-the-oven meals and their salads. Because this location has so much to offer, it is always packed which isn't very fun when you need to get in and out quickly. However, the checkout lines move pretty fast and if you can't find a product it's pretty easy to find an employee fairly quick. read more

Love this HEB! Always have fresh produce and meat. I feel my produce lasts longer when purchased here vs Kroger. Staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. I don't want to knock an entire store for the behavior of one person. Most of the employees here seem professional except for checker "Maria D". I get they are probably stressed, anxious, and even overworked considering the virus but it is no reason to be rude and unprofessional. read more

I am so happy to have another HEB location in Cypress! Love the layout of the store and it is very easy to get to. Friendly staff and not crowded like some of the other HEB locations. A bigger meat counter would be nice, but they keep a very good selection of steaks and other meats stocked. read more

It's always been easy to Navigate, and if I can't find something an employee is happy to help. Prices are reasonable and meat and produce is always fresh. I never shop anywhere else. I also love their selection of organics. read more

I was here yesterday(8pm), lost a wic card and some of the staff went above my expectations in actually caring to help me. Amazing customer service!!! There was an older man in the produce section, who stood out to me in excellent customer service , I don't know his name but his accent sounded Colombian (we spoke in Spanish) and I have never encountered better treatment by staff of any store! All this to say this Heb is the best !! So glad I live near by. There is no other like heb for the things we need! read more

My family has been using this HEB pharmacy since the store opened. I moved my business to CVS today due to the pharmacist (Ann). I believe she's fairly new and she's extremely rude and has no clue what she's doing. Today was the second time she argued with me about a prescription without knowing the facts. She won't listen and talks over you. I finally had to make her print out my RX so I could explain things to her. She finally got it but said she wouldn't fill it because I told her how to do her job and I was banned from the pharmacy. No problem......twice was enough. I'll gladly go somewhere else. read more

If it is not one thing, it's another!!! With the young staff they have, they never pay attention to anything! The first time I had to come back was because they gave me expired salad and the manager was nice enough to apologize! This is now the second time, the first thing I grabbed and had them scan was diapers!, well getting home and to find out 2 hrs later that they forgot to place them in our basket! I had to drive once again back to pick them up! Your staff needs to pay more attention to things! Try to go find the customer if you notice they forgot something! I have made an attempt to stop someone that they forgot something... oooo and wait, they guy had us wait a few minutes and we already had all are items for them to scan, it wasn't for something important it was for him to text someone on his phone! I think they need to speak to William J about this! Customer service comes first, not your phone! read more

This is the first time I have left extremely disappointed from this store. My sister and I walked in to order a cake from their bakery, which we always do for all the family birthdays. My sister went the day before and spoke to a person in bakery and assured her she could bring a picture of the cake she wanted and they would accommodate her. So that's what she did! She spent hours looking for the perfect cake for my nephews 9th birthday party. So we get there tonight to order the cake and to our surprise they denied her the ability to order the cake. The excuse was they cannot take pictures from any outside source! I have never heard of this before! The employees that helped her was completely rude to my sister and would not even let my sister explain that she had spoken to someone the day before about the cake request. She just said... "We can't do it, I got written up before and will not do it" and she just walked away leaving us just standing there! It was completely rude and unprofessional! All she would repeat is for us to talk to the manager of bakery, who was not there at the time. In the years my sister has used their bakery, she has never encountered any problems until tonight. Let me clarify that HEB as a grocery store is excellent and I am only rating the service we received tonight from the bakery department and its employees. We will still remain customers of HEB for groceries, but will think twice before using them for any future cakes. It was a very disappointing experience! read more

10 Stars!! This HEB is at a great location with awesome service. I never have any problems finding what I need on my grocery list. The meat and produce section are very well-stocked and clean. I drive in from another town up to 30 minutes since we do not have a SuperStore or even an HEB there just to shop at the Cypress location :) read more

First and last time going to this HEB, had to download yelp just to leave a review. I got off work at 10:40 and needed to get groceries for my pregnant mother, bearing in mind they close at 11:00 I was being prompt and asking around a lot that way I could get out sooner and not be rude, at around 10:50 there was a large pallet in the way (during business hours) I slightly moved it and the whole freight crew gave attitude. Then around 11:05 I asked an employee where something was and he said they won't check me out because we're closed and I said I work retail and I know that's bullshit, my pregnant mom wants this, so where is it? Of course then he helped... Then at around 11:10 as I was wrapping up the lady at the front makes ANOTHER announcement saying they're closed all while looking at me, knowing damn well I'm the last one there. (She made 3 announcements from 11:00-11:10) instead of having 4 people at one line waiting doing fuck all, why not have someone give some customer service that way I can get out quicker? Ended up leaving with some wrong items because I felt rushed/pressured. Lastly, as I was leaving "Kent" said I was rude by moving their pallet and them leaving the pallets in the way DURING BUSINESS HOURS is "just how we run things around here" and gave a very sarcastic have a nice night. I work retail and it bothers me too when people stay past close, sometimes they stay 30-40 minutes longer, but instead of being an asshole I ask them if they need any help or assistance, not make 5 announcements back to back to get them out, and then treat them like shit as they leave. There was one helpful girl and she was at the end bagging my stuff, short white girl with brown hair, besides her everyone else there can get fucked. read more

I will be glad when they open Kroger. This HEB has a very hard time keeping there shelves stocked. They are always out of items I buy. Last night was also the second time I had to bag my own groceries! With three little kids running around that isn't an easy task but I did want to get out of the store so I started bagging while there was an employee standing at the next register doing absolutely nothing! I also ordered a cake from the bakery and I didn't find out until I went to pick the cake up that they were out of that particular decoration that goes on top. A phone call ahead of time would have been a wonderful thought. read more

Scheduled an appointment with HEB Blooms at this location to discuss options for wedding flowers. Met with one of the floral department associates and went over everything I was looking for. She took notes and created a folder for me. She told me she would write up a quote and email it to me in a couple of days at which point we could adjust the choices. I left pleased but it's been almost 3 weeks and I haven't heard a word. I called to check and was put on hold until someone finally told me there was no one in the department at the time and I would need to call back...no need, I'm taking my business somewhere that I'm not treated like just a number in line and easily forgotten about. read more

Will never shop here again. My truck was stolen from the middle of their parking lot in mid afternoon. Security cameras didn't offer any clues because they have none pointed in the center of the lot, and don't have one at the entrance exit on HWY 290. I was told by an employee that 5 other vehicles, including his own had already been stolen. No security, shop at your own peril. They could pay a rent a cop company to patrol like other business do, but I guess that is too much to expect. read more
