Hers & Mine
Fox E.

I was left feeling H & M after my previous trip to this store (Hurt & Miserable), (just kidding), but this made it better. This is definitely a sexy underwear store, by any stretch of the imagination. They have some good female clothing items as well, and in general we really like it. If I had to complain about something (which I don't like to do honestly) then it would be that the store is too expensive, especially considering that it has a great opportunity to be a cheaper version of VS, since it's not quite as sexy and elaborate and infamous. Having said all of that, it is a good store, and it's wonderful for people watching and seems pretty high-end compared to most of these stores that I have been in, so I appreciate that.

Location was ok with clothes availability. Def seasonal and a hit or miss for me. Love the art on the wall going up to the 2nd floor.

Oh WOW impressive internet guys.

From pillows to placemats to notepads to candles to sweaters and shirts and comforters and pet items. Oh my! This store has so many fun products that are great gift giving ideas at reasonable prices. I visited from California on a work trip and super bummed I didn't bring a bigger suitcase because I would've bought so many gifts to give. I believe this store is female owned, and have store locations throughout the south. Their staff is sweet and accommodating, and every gift comes with a beautiful gift wrapping that's complementary. They have plenty of parking as they are part of a mall and there is tons of parking stalls. Can't wait to come back and visit this store on my next work trip. It will definitely be on my list of things to do when I visit Austin, Texas and in the mood for shopping.

A few newer shops I hadn't seen since my last visit and a few others that have since closed, but the old loves remained including the amazing Restoration Hardware here that is FOUR stories and loaded with every pretty thing you could ever want. Also some higher end jewelry stores like Gucci and David Yurman here. This is a huge complex with several parking decks and areas and it was extremely crowded by around noon-1pm on a Sunday. Great place to have lunch and shop - that RH is the thing of dreams!

The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!

I stepped in with my girlfriend and as she was looking at all the socks with cute designs I was immediately distracted by their new Gripper Slipper socks (?). I always wear socks in my own apartment, but I can't get behind slippers just because I hate how loose they feel. These guys are like double socks? I bought a pair for a fair $50 and was sold on them that night when I wandered through my apartment. These past few days, I've been excited to go home just so I can wear them. But every so often we get some chilly weather and a taller sock is necessary. As I walked around to see all the styles, sport, and cashmere, and so on, I settled with half calf style. I did notice that 2 of the 3 I bought said men's, and the one I got said women's. But they look the same just a different color. Also I noticed they didn't have medium sizes in a lot of their styles. They were either small or large and X-large. The 3 I got were all mediums. Whether they're men's or women's, they were still the same size. Love my socks. I highly recommend Bombas socks. I little hug for your feet.

I have started to actually try to put together outfits and good ole fast fashion Zara has helped me get into it while not absolutely breaking the bank. This is the first time I've come to this Zara since the remodel and the space feels so much more open now. Almost too open where it feels like you have to wander so far to find anything. It's significantly cleaner and organized than in the past. I got a few things and when I checked out, they have that new autocheckout system where you drop it all in a box and it somehow knows what you got. I'm not the biggest fan of that system, but it's better than waiting in a disastrous line. Shoutout ZARAMAN for having some cool clothes for me. The first time you step through the doors of 85°C Bakery Cafe, your senses are immediately greeted…read moreby an overwhelming wave of warmth, sweet yeast, and the rich, roasty aroma of fresh sea salt coffee. It is not simply a bakery; it is a culinary sanctuary, a bustling haven of carbohydrate-induced joy, and a place that has captured my heart completely. My love for 85°C Bakery is rooted not just in the exceptional quality of its baked goods, but in the entire sensory and cultural experience it provides. What sets 85°C apart from any standard pastry shop is its theatrical, high-energy environment. There is a distinct thrill in grabbing a metal tray and a pair of tongs, stepping into the queue like an artist preparing to paint a canvas. The atmosphere is punctuated by the rhythmic, enthusiastic shouts of "Fresh bread!" from the kitchen staff as they wheel out piping-hot racks of new creations. This constant rotation ensures that you are never just buying stale pastries off a shelf; you are participating in a living, breathing cycle of baking excellence. The anticipation of waiting for a fresh batch of your favorite bun adds a layer of interactive excitement to the simple act of buying food. The true magic, however, lies in the perfect marriage of Eastern and Western baking traditions. 85°C masters the art of texture and subtle sweetness, offering an alternative to the often heavy, overly sugary pastries found in traditional Western bakeries. The breads are impossibly soft, pillowy, and delicate. Whether it is the savory, comforting pull of the Calamari Ink Bun with its surprising garlic cheese filling, or the signature Brioche, which melts in your mouth like sweet clouds, every item feels meticulously crafted. The balance of flavors is a testament to their culinary philosophy--allowing the natural taste of taro, matcha, red bean, and cheese to shine without drowning them in sugar. Of course, no praise of 85°C is complete without mentioning its namesake commitment to beverages, particularly the legendary Sea Salt Coffee. The brilliance of topping a richly brewed iced Americano with a thick, velvety layer of salted cream is a revelation. The contrast of the bitter, robust coffee cutting through the savory, sweet cream creates a perfect harmony that complements any pastry on your tray. It is this attention to detail--the belief that coffee brewed at exactly 85 degrees Celsius yields the perfect flavor profile--that elevates the cafe from a casual stop to an obsession. Ultimately, my love for 85°C Bakery Cafe is about how it makes me feel. It is the joy of sharing a box of assorted pastries with friends, the comfort of a warm taro bun on a stressful afternoon, and the reliable bliss of that first sip of salted cream. 85°C has turned baking into an accessible art form, making every visit feel like a small, delicious celebration of life's simple pleasures. Has lots of value for the money.
