I wish I had some pictures to show you what Real Affogato looks like! After a long day skiing the best thing is coffee and ice-cream. we found this place through yelp. The line was long was going pretty quick! The taste of Espresso and the smell of coffee in their shop is still in my mind. I would defiantly go back there next time I'm in town :D read more

Who doesn't love Haagen Dazs? It's the best ice cream! This one is conveniently located in Lionshead. They have lots of great flavors, and I prefer their waffle cones to those of other local ice cream shops. Plus, the portions are quite generous--even for a single scoop. Service has been great when we have been there recently. Very nice employees. The other day they were closed early, so we had to settle for a less-good frozen treat elsewhere. It seems they are experiencing an employee shortage (and grammar deficiency). See attached photo. read more

Häagen-Dazs - a sign in the window - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Vail, Colorado

Just like all other Haagen restaurants. But getting in vail adds another charm to go here. Ice cream always goes well in freezing winter too. Server was nice guy and offered to sample as well. For some reason they are little higher priced. They offer free coffee when you buy few stuffs. Attached picture of details. 3 stars because $7.30 for small ice cream is not the value for money. read more

It's Haagen-Daz, so it's the best ice cream around. It's delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. But, this summer its hours have been unreliable. And it has this bizarre sigh in the door, saying it *may* close earlier because of a "shortage on employees." First, that's nonsense. Second, "shortage of employees" is very 2021-2022. Other Vail businesses have figured this out. And third, we count on you to be open after an evening hike. So, be open. read more

Häagen-Dazs - This guys was super rude - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Vail, Colorado

After work, went for a walk through Lionshead Village. I was pleasantly surprised that Haagen-Dazs was open (not much is open these days in the village). Had a craving for a chocolate milkshake, and it was delicious! The employee was very sweet and nice. She wore a mask the whole time and the facility was very clean. I would go back again for a post-work pick-me-up! You really can't beat their ice cream.... read more

Really tasty beef empanadas in the randomest of places! Super flakey and savory. Nice to warm your hands on a cold day. Each pastry order comes with a cup of regular coffee or bigelow tea. And yes... empanadas at a Haagen daas... I don't get it... but I do... read more

Workers were rude and made derogatory remarks to our group. Even though they were not suppose to close for 15 min they rushed us through and made the entire process uncomfortable. Ice cream was not made as we ordered. When asked why they were being blatantly disrespectful they laughed and continued to berate our entire group. I've never wrote a negative review but this experience was by far one of the worst I've encountered. read more

Nothing can surpass Haagen Dazs quality when it comes to Ice Cream. Yeah, it's the butterfat that makes it a SuperPremium Grade Ice Cream, and taste so superior to anything else in it's class, but we can forgive a little butterfat for this decadent flavor. My dad always told me to taste an Ice Cream Brand's Vanilla first. You see, Vanilla is the base for most of the flavors. If the Vanilla is not supremely exceptional, then the rest of their flavors will suffer. Haagen Dazs Vanilla is classic. Rich, smooth, velvety, sweet, creamy, complex. The rest of their flavors follow suit. Dad was right. (Again.) When you start with a quality product, it's hard to go wrong. What I like about the Vail location are their additional offerings. Their Cinnamon Rolls are to die for. They have coffee and hot chocolate drinks. AND: They have employees that seem to WANT to be there. It's nice to see smiling faces while enjoying such a treat. read more

What?! Who wrote the 5-star review? Have you been to any other ice cream shops in Vail? Joe's? Rimini? Probably not, because you'd see that the stingy servings and price make an outrageous combo. Seriously, every time I've had I've cream here, the scoops don't seem to peek out of the cone. So tiny! My two stars come from 1) the Panda cake I saw here (see my photo), and 2) from the two letters on the wall from children who wrote to the owner which are HILARIOUS. I'm pleased the owners have a sense of humor: now tell your team to be more generous in their scooping! read more

While visiting family in Vail I stopped in for some ice cream with my son. I was extremely pleased with the staff. specifically a woman named Sam. She was kind, patient, and gave us the best service! Horrible service! Place was empty (mud season) and even with us wearing masks and being polite to the young man behind the counter he was extremely impatient with my children and flat out rude when we were trying to tip! Will walk into Vail Village for our ice cream from now on! read more

I know Häagen-Dazs isn't the first place you turn to when you want coffee, however, today I was in a pinch and desperately needed some amount of caffeine. By far the worst mistake I have made while on vacation...their Café Latte gave me the most horrendous stomach cramps of my life; not to mention the need to literally blow up any bathroom in a 5 mile radius (sorry Vail). From first sip, I knew that it wasn't right-I have no idea how you screw up coffee but by god they did. Just stick to ice cream Häagen-Dazs. read more

Came in for a smoothie and met Dana. Super nice and great service! Definitely stopping in again!

This was my second time visiting vail & decided to stop by here. I read the reviews about terrible customer service but my experience was the opposite! Always love their smoothies but the customer service made my experience amazing. Dana was absolutely wonderful, she had a beautiful smile the whole time. I work in the service industry so I know amazing service When I see it! Dana made my day & can't wait til my next trip to vail to stop back in for some great customer service & a smoothie! read more

Went in today and the employee, who seemed to be the owner, was on the phone and continued his conversation for several minutes while we were waiting. Then serving us and our children he was rude and didn't seem to want to give us the time of day. Ice cream here is not cheap, is good, but the experience ruined it for us. It literally takes so little to put a smile on your face and treat the patrons with good customer service. This place and that employee missed the mark. Won't be back. read more

I wanted a blended drink of some sort but they had the door propped open with a massive drink cart and I literally couldn't get the baby stroller I was pushing in the door. I walked by three days in a row; same thing. I'm fairly certain this is a fire code violation as well considering the space to get in and out is only 1/3rd the size of the doorway. They are also preventing anyone larger in size or anyone in a wheelchair from entering their store as well. Please resolve this Haagen Dazs! read more

Don't get me wrong. Haagen Dazs has some seriously good ice cream. This location, however, isn't as delightful as their decadent dulce de leche ice cream. For a chain, their prices are outrageous, even for Vail standards. It is around $4.75 for a kiddie cup. The prices only go up from there. The prices were only half of the ridiculousness of this location. I was about to order a $7.50 smoothie (the smallest possible size). Immediately after, I asked if it was possible to get an extra cup to share. I was swiftly denied my request, with the excuse that "we take inventory of the cups we give out at the end of each month." Ludicrous! Do your wallet (and sanity) a favor, and buy ice cream somewhere else! read more

Haagen Dazs speaks for itself. The 5 stars come from the guy working there who gives suggestions on great places to eat or shop in the area. Angie rules! Best server with a great sense of humor :) Definitely on par with our night. We will be back!

This was a painfully awful customer service experience--a rude and obnoxious owner-operator who seemed to revel in confronting his customers. I was there with my 4-year-old niece and they gave her the wrong flavor. We saw him scooping the wrong one and tried to tell him many times which flavor she had asked for. When he gave it to us, he told us we shouldn't have asked for the other flavor if that's not what we wanted: "I don't care how many times you tell me another flavor, what counts is what you first asked for and that's what you're getting". I asked for a manager and was told that they were all managers and owners. His colleague was especially rude and obnoxious about it. I would advise anyone looking for ice cream in Vail not to spend their money here. read more
