The joys of ice cream are here! They are real and we are experiencing them here in Vail, Colorado! Wow, as an observer in the game of life we were drawn to this little shop. And it's really off the beaten path. Row after row of shops, it's actually open. The staff are so friendly and welcoming! As we gaze at the menu, it looks great. We choose what! My mind wanders to the one with sprinkles! They have a different way of making their ice cream. It's a cleaner version with better ingredients that an individual can actually use as fuel, not chemicals. They make all their cones in house and actually have one that is coated in sprinkles! Wow, and the sundae has a real cherry for proper effect and sprinkles too! Life is better with ice cream and it needs sprinkles in confetti rainbows to make it melt like sunshine .

The sandwich lacked sauce and flavor and was average at best. I could only finish half of it, and it actually tasted better when I reheated the leftovers in the microwave the next day. My daughter did however enjoy their child meal deal which included a sandwich and homemade ice cream. Service wasn't overly friendly either but was efficient. Joe's is a good spot to duck into when it's snowing outside and you need to get out of the cold and grab a quick bite. I'd recommend asking the staff for their recommendation if you visit since the reviews are mixed or consider other local dining options.

She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.
