Unfortunately, the Fort Lee location didn't offer the same experience. Even after I asked, it felt like I was given weak excuses rather than a genuine effort to help. On top of that, the hojicha latte here was overly milky. I've had the same drink at other Maiko locations where it tasted much nuttier and more balanced, so this was disappointing. The ice cream is homemade, and in addition to the classic flavors, there are more interesting creations such as Aztec chocolate, banana Oreo, raspberry cheesecake, cannoli cream, coconut, maple walnut, and seasonal flavors such as apple pie, pumpkin, candy cane, etc. While the ice cream is creamy, the flavor is not as strong or distinctive as I like. It gets busy in the summer, and even in nice weather like an unusually warm last March weekend, the parking lot was filling up, to my surprise.
