Jay's explanation was the metal roof flashing doesn't permit water to enter the rain gutters and should be replaced with a different type. I was surprised to hear this and thought a contractor claiming to have the experience that Jay says he has, would have been able to discern this before installation and would have advised his customer accordingly. Neither Jay nor his installer did, but they were quick to say that was the cause of leaks. At the end of the day, I'm disappointed in the final product and will have to make further modifications to make the product work as advertised.

We were already experiencing leaks, and our shingles were showing signs of aging. Aside from the cost, our biggest concern was our solar panels. We worried that removing and reinstalling them might cause damage or reduce their energy production. We had seen JB Roofing Solutions working on several homes in our neighborhood, so my husband approached one of their crews and met Johnny. He came to our house, inspected our roof, and provided us with a very reasonable quote. Johnny was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. We probably reviewed the contract two or three times, and he took the time to explain every detail, answer all of our questions, and make sure we were completely comfortable before signing.
