I had a buddy who was looking into finding his first firearm due to current circumstances and I had one to sell him so I started looking around for shops that would A) Issue him a FSC and B) conduct a PPT. Called these guys up and they stated that they would have no problems doing either. Went in today and conducted the transfer; couldn't have gone smoother. Art was the associate who was helping us and did his job professionally and quickly. They just opened so their inventory is a little slim due to no fault of their own; finding stuff from manufacturers and distributors is crazy due to the influx in demand. A good gesture go a long way. I'm had some sauces torquing my barrel comp. brought it in with a new washer. He told me to hold a minute and took it to the back. Came back installed no charge. There's shade so you won't need to worry about boiling in the sun or staying in your car. Unfortunately, I did not purchase anything because they did not have the gun that I was specifically looking for, however the gentleman in the front greeted me and helped me out in what I was looking for. It's true, gun stores are very busy. I had to wait outside in the heat just to get inside. The line was about 10 people long and wrapped around the corner of the store where I contemplated how long I was willing to wait. A gentleman came outside after a few minutes and offered us little bottles of water and said we can spread out under the shade of the awning and tree instead of standing in the blazing sun alongside the building. That bit of courtesy extended is what made me commit to waiting. They work quickly to take care of their customers and it took about 45 minutes to get inside. There's two lines; the other is for pickups, so I may add an update about how long that takes, but I think it's a good bit shorter like 10-15 min. William helped me out, showed me one of the two guns I was interested in that they still had in stock that day (they had sold out of Glock 19s already but still had Glock 17s), and answered all of my questions. I was able to take my firearms safety test for $25, passed it easily and received the certificate that day. It's been 10 days, so I look forward to picking up my Glock 17 and doing more business with Guns LA. read more

I'll keep this review short and to the point. Guns LA has helped me custom build the perfect AR for my needs. I was also looking for a home defense pistol, and they gave me great recommendations, so I ended up purchasing a pistol for home defense as well. I have visited several of the other gun shops within the area, and I cannot speak negatively about any of the other shops, but what makes Guns LA stand out is how knowledgeable the staff is, and how nice they are to work with. My sales rep was Art. Art seem to know a GREAT deal about their entire inventory. He was not pushy at all about selling me a gun, and gave me good honest answers. It's a difficult time to purchase defense weapons now, as almost every other shop is very low on inventory. To my surprise, Guns LA had a great inventory (maybe it was just my lucky day), and I walked out a happy, comeback customer. I also compared their prices with current day prices, and they were very competitive, as almost everyone else has up to a 300% markup on guns because of the shortage. I give this shop 5 stars, and would definitely recommend them to anyone that's in need of home defense, or just weapons in general. I personally dealt with "Art" who I would obviously recommend to go see, but everyone behind the counter worked well with each other, and they were all nice to their customers. Before I even set foot inside I made a couple calls about doing business through gunbroker.com and the lady who helped me out was super nice and patient. I am still nervous when I walk into a gun store. Everyone knows more than me and I don't want to look stupid. The vibe in there is great. Everyone is friendly and they don't make you feel like you're beneath them or that you're bothering them. Customer service is A+++. I went in to do the ffl paperwork and renew my fsc. Everything was quick and smooth. Deion (I hope I spelled that right) was very helpful and even schooled me on some specifics about the law. All in all it was a good time.
