I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Gucci at the Scottsdale location in Phoenix AZ on August 6, 2026, at approximately 1:45 p.m. I was told that my belt would be exchanged for a larger size, but the exchange was never completed as promised. When I contacted the store for assistance, the associate was rude, dismissive, and ultimately hung up on me. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from a luxury brand with Gucci's reputation and prices. It is incredible that a company of this caliber does not stand behind its customers or honor the commitments made by its employees. Frankly, I would expect better service. I got better service at a 99-cent store. Gucci should invest more of the money it charges customers into properly training its staff in professionalism, communication, and customer care. I expect Gucci to address this incident, explain why the promised exchange was not completed, and provide a prompt resolution. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in the brand. read more

I'm not sure why all the one star reviews, but my experience was great. I walked in and was greeted by an associate, Juan. I asked for the belts and was directed where to go. Juan helped find my proper size. He also advised if I later on need the size adjusted and made smaller, they offer that service. That is great to know. read more

Random just because gifts! :) We came in here last Saturday evening to look around and were greeted as soon as we walked in. I've been wanting a Gucci belt. He said pick one so I did. I picked out the Gucci GG Marmont in the matted gold tone. Anna helped us out. She was nice and knowledgeable. She said to size down if I was going to wear it with anything high waisted so it wouldn't be too long so I did and it was the perfect fit! This will match with one of my bags. Are you kidding me??? We came to exchange a $450 belt,....ya, $450 for a $50 belt!! So much wrong with that sentence! Ridiculous in itself, right?? Then, get this, we were told "we can't take an exchange right now, there are seven people ahead of you and we will put you on a waiting list to be helped".... yes, to EXCHANGE and upgrade to a belt we are holding in our hand! No, we don't need help trying things on or products brought from the back, just to give you a ridiculous amount of money for an average belt with a G on it. Yes, really, we have to wait 60 to 90 minutes before we can pay for a belt that is 10 times more expensive than it's worth. Are the people working here nice? Sure. They checked in with us, remembered our name, apologized for the wait and offered us water. Why wouldn't they be nice, this one belt pays a week's salary. Some of the people shopping in here are hysterical! Loved the dude wearing a bulletproof vest as a shirt! No, not kidding and not sorry I snapped a picture of him. Check out the photo, seriously!! Gotta watch your six on these mean streets of Scottsdale, ha ha! The mom sitting with her 12-year-old daughter who is also trying on $500 belts. Because every pre-teen girl needs a $500 belt, or three, right? People are people and that's not why the two star review. This store actually earned the positivity of two stars because one of the five (ya, 5) security guards in this pretentious little box was friendly and hilarious, commenting on the humor of the bullet proof vest's necessity on these "mean streets of Scottsdale!", haha! So, why 2 stars? Extraordinarily poor staffing that has people waiting an hour or more to have the "privilege" of buying this overpriced egomaniacal drivel. BAD BAD BAD SERVICE. We buy Gucci Louis Vuittan Prada etc for the service and experience, not the value. Gucci doesnt care about you. The "associates" cant afford a single item in that store but they sneer at you and could care less. We found the shoes my wife wanted for her birthday. Made an appointment online. Called the store 7 times, waited on hold 10 minutes each time I called, they never answered. Not once after 7 tries over 2 days. Went to the fashion square mall, spent 20 minutes looking for a parking spot, got to the store. An early middle aged man wearing a suit with the pants a foot too short (is that a style now?) walked out eventually and there was 10 people in line. I told him I had an appointment at 2:30. He asked for my code; I didnt have a code. He said well thats too bad then closed the door and walked inside. Do you not have a record of people making an appointment? Can you give the smallest effort to try and figure it out? My gosh, I'm trying to pay $900 for a pair of sneakers! Seriously, can you care less about your customers? Well, they have a bunch of douche bags working there and the management could give a rats red rump about its customers. I will spend my money at Louis Vuittan Prada Jimmy Choo and Hugo Boss. I agreed to meet with Gucci Tailor as set up by my salesperson at Scottsdale Fashion Square. When I arrived, I was told that the Tailor was a shared resource with Nordstrom. I had to wait for 1 hr to see Tailor, and then the assigned temporary sales (because my sale has day off), I was told me that I needed to reschedule. I felt this was not aligned with a high-end fashion boutique retailer. Have had some recent past bad experiences since the new store. It seems like customer service due to the culture of employees has changed. My most recent experience was last Thursday. I stopped in to get a gift card and no one greeted me. Matter of fact they looked into my face not even to say "hello" or "welcome" I ended up migrating over to the register to seek help. I came here for return/ possible exchange for a different item after placing an online order. An associate let me in and asked me why i was here for. When I said I needed to return something, he said someone else will help and told me to wait and walked away. Just his facial expression and his demeanor was unpleasant and rude when I said I was there for a return. I waited for awhile. But there was another SA who seemed available but I wasn't sure so I waited. Looked around. About 10 min later, a SA came up and asked if I needed help. Apparently another SA went up to her telling her I had been waiting. Store was pretty much empty. There were 2 other customers. She apologized and was unsure why I had been waiting when the person who let me in should have assisted me from the beginning. I tried on they different jewelry while I was in there but they didn't have my size. This store is definitely smaller than other stores I have visited and they have limited inventory as far as for jewelry and sizing. Not sure if this was related to SAs getting commissions on sales or not. I usually shop in Hawaii stores which their SAs have always been nothing but pleasant and wanting to help. I am gonna stick to shopping online and if I do need to return something in the future, I am gonna return this via mail as well unless I can get an appointment at the store in advance. Better yet I will just continue to shop at my regular store in a different state. Wish there was another gucci location in Arizona apart from this mall location. read more

It really sucks that this is the only Gucci in AZ. Customer service is horrible here. I've been here numerous times and I always have bad customer service. I never get a hello welcome to Gucci or offered a drink like Louis Vuitton. Yes I am comparing because for places like this. They should act more classier and professional. Annie greeted us at the door and was able to help my wife find the bag she was looking for. I actually love the store I always get 100% customer service I did come in one time & a guy was helping me and he totally just walked off and helped another guest and I immediately was like is this a race & I don't look like I have money thing ? because that made no sense.. I told an employee how disrespectful it was an she got the manager, he came out & apologized an helped me with everything I needed & he even made my experience 100 times better! My husband & I end up leaving happy we both got what we wanted! We end up coming back the following weekend after & I got help by IRIS, she was completely amazing, helped me with everything & other people was asking her questions she even apologized for having to run around, I didn't even mind it! I'm not on no time limit especially when I'm shopping (I don't understand why people get mad when they have to wait, when they can just shop online) I came back again ‍ 3rd time , after buying some sandals online I didn't favor. & I ran into the gentleman (from the first time I visited) & my eyes got big like not this again & he came over & was just super friendly, very helpful, help me exchange my shoes for something else. Even grabbed multiple other shoes to help me find what I was looking for for my trip and I totally felt like it was just miscommunication the first time or something.. but he dang sure took care of us this time and was 100% respectful & had great customer service & but I'll definitely be back! One of the worst experiences ever! I recently bought myself a Gucci Belt from the Gucci store in the Crystals mall in Las Vegas. I was so happy with the purchase because I had always wanted one however I bought it at a larger size which was okay since I could get an extra hole inserted they told me. Since I live in Arizona I went to the Gucci store to ask if they were able to perform that service for me and the rude greater said they weren't which is fine and he said to go to a shoe repair store. I asked him which one to go to and if he knew of any good ones and he said "You have google maps, use it." I am absolutely disgusted and will never go in that store again. read more

No problem I should just be able to exchange them for a new size right? Nope! He had no idea it was a 30 day exchange policy online and he bought them in November! I am a Gucci fan. Coming into this store made me miss the outlet shop in Sicily-especially the prices. Despite the constant comparison, I came in to find some sunglasses. I've purchases a handbag from this store in the past and a few watches (which I don't recommend buying they just don't seem to keep on ticking) service has always been friendly. You can find shoes, luggage, fragrance, wallets, hats and of course gorgeous handbags and accessories. I didn't see anything in particular that I wanted on this day (despite the beautiful bags that are on my wish list) but it's always a stop when I'm in the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall. I'm not even sure where to begin. When visiting a luxury boutique you have a few expectations, excellent service, quality products, a beautiful atmosphere, and so on. When visiting Gucci you get none of that. The line is exasperated intentionally to build a sense of excitement before entering and shot down immediately upon walking in. Now I'm a young man, I'm not a rich person by any means so when I save up the money to buy something designer, I want to know about the product, I want the sales associate to tell me all the reasons why they love the brand I should too, I want a sense of pride and exclusivity that these brands strive for; so, when I get approached by someone with an AirPod in, refusing to look at me in the eye, and playing on his phone the entire time I get pissed. I wanted to learn and instead I felt like I knew more than him. I even asked "what does Gucci do best?" Opening him up for a home run of an answer and what do I get? "Shoes". Really? Shoes? He couldn't have given me less detail if he wanted. I walked in ready to purchase 890$ loafers and walked out angry and disappointed. I even went back to Prada and Burberry just for the refreshing conversations the salesman there provide. Unprofessional and l disappointing, spend your money on brands that care, I won't be going back and this just made me appreciate their competitors more. My experience was pathetic. Each time, I've been tended to personally with all of my questions answered and with each of the associates going beyond their responsibilities by assisting me in: fitting, keeping me informed on which garments and accessories compliment one another, are trendy or classical, and what might suit certain occasions.
