I'd like to personally thank you for treating me as a second class person. Nothing better than service that politely implies you should go to a cheap store, because you do not dress like X or the idea that you do not want to spend anything over 275 for a pair of jeans is beneath us. I went from that pp because they didn't have my waist of 35, which they told me was the most popular to another brand which the salesperson noted was "cheaper". They somewhat fit, but she said I had really skinny legs. And honestly it just didn't look good on me As I was departing she brought up a story which said I should look at Walmart for jeans because they are only 35. She mentioned Nordstrom Rack because they are cheaper and when I explained that I'd just go over to Nordstrom, the Rack was brought up again, and yep Walmart. Treating someone as At Ease did, doesn't empower any good vibes. In fact, they do the complete opposite. read more

We dipped into this men's store in the run up to a dinner reservation next door. What pleasant surprise. The store is big and beautiful and stocked with really excellent choices. My husband is hard to fit and on a life-long weight loss journey but we were able to find a great shirt that fit him and is flattering. Another 25 lbs to go and we will be back! read more

Wow, the selection is severely outdated and screams I'm a Scottsdale douche still stuck in the early 2000's! The service was just as bad! I walk in and there is no sales person in sight but I here voices of three people rambling on a about a botched special order. I look through the store making my way through the Robert Graham room (who the hell still wears that crap) and down the line to their suiting/trouser selection. I even walk by the counter where the sales people are chatting and not one greats me. I was over dressed compared to the standards of the United States and definitely compared to the shit they carry in this store. Overall, I'm giving them a horrible review on their customer service but their merchandise has to be updated if they want to last another 5 years in AZ. read more

Every time my wife and I woukd go to Phoenix, we would always go to the Fashion Square mall to find At Ease and stock up on high quality men's clothes (hard to find in Denver). Sadly, I discovered the store was gone the last time down in early December. However, we went to AZ twice the last month. (First week in December plus right after Christmas) On the second trip, we stumbled onto At Ease while staying at the Hyatt Resort at Gainey Ranch, literally just 3 blocks away. Finally met the owner, Don (great guy) and his right-hand-woman, Bobbi (She reminded me of a "Cheryl" so told her to change her name) Their clothes are better than anything I've found anywhere! And the best news, you would pay 3 times more at a high end men's fashion store anywhere else. My only complaint is they have too many great clothes to chose from! I told Don, he was killing me. However, I went back for more clothes 3 separate times, that way, it didn't feel I was spending so much. I've virtually replaced my entire wardrobe now! The good news is that I've lost 55 lb's. since last June. The bad news is that nothing really fits any more. Going from big fat guy to a big, somewhat less fat guy has its advantages...I'm down to 8 minute miles on my runs; I can beat up on my much younger squash opponents; I can get into poses in Power Yoga that I wouldn't have even dreamt about 6 months ago; The Beautiful Carin thinks I'm acting much younger again; I can make a better turn on the ball when I play golf; it appears that I will live a reasonably healthy active life into my sixties, at least (and given my good northern European ice-age survivor genetics...my grandmother died of meanness at 98 and my dad still works the ranch at 83) and maybe longer barring bad luck! So, I might as well buy some new clothes. At Ease is one of the better men's stores I have found in the valley. I had my "go to" shops in Portland and SFO, but not so much here, until I found At Ease. In Portland and during the first 5 years of my time in SFO, I was a broker and my closet reflected it...Armani and Hugo Boss suits, with the occasional handmade suit from HK, and all the crap that goes with it (you know you have misplaced your priorities when you count your neckties some morning and discover that you own more than $9,000 worth of "neckwear", at retail, which is essentially money for nothing at all). When I went into the software business, that all changed. The SFO uniform for tech was khaki trousers and a denim or chambray shirt with your logo on it. I must have 40 logo shirts! When I moved to Phoenix, and started my own companies, I could wear whatever I wanted and that quickly became shorts and flip-flops every day. But now, that doesn't even fit! So...new duds. At Ease has a nice selection...not every garment from every manufacturer, but a selection from each, including manufacturers that you don't hear about very much. They carry Nat Nast, Tommy Bahama (BTW, Tommy, I'll let you know when I'm ready to "Relax"), Boss, Lauren, Ellis, Raphael, Armani as well as some very nice smaller Italian clothiers (I actually fit the tapered waist stuff again!!!), like Zanella, etc. I even picked up a couple of pairs of new Banfi loafers...soft as a mothers kiss and they smell like strawberries...at least until I wear them for a while:). Finally, At Ease has a bar...that's right, you heard me. What a great idea!!! I had a MacCallan's while I got fitted and looked around...Carin had a marti, while she helped me find the new me in the racks. What a civilized way to shop! That alone is worth at least a star! So I think At Ease is going to be my new "go to" for clothes here in Scottsdale. BTW, they sell shorts and flip-flops there, too! read more

Beautiful Men's store that has the best brands with an on-site Tailor. My husband bought pants and they were hemmed in 10 minutes. Service was great, selection was well organized and it was easy to select shirt, pants and shoes all at one time without going through many departments like you do at Nordstroms.
