I called GT Locksmith at 6:36am.. I was in urgent need to open a business door. He was the only one of 3 persons who picked up the phone and responded immediately.. he quoted me $35 trip fee + cost to open lock. He arrived at the business location about 5 miles away by 7:00am and within 15 minutes opened and reinstalled a new cylinder. Got locked out of our house because our garage door opener wasn't working and the swing bar latch to our front door was on. We called this place and he arrived after about 15 minutes. Only took him a couple minutes to unlock our side garage door. We were so happy that we asked if he could replace all of our locks since we just moved back into our home and wanted to be sure our previous tenants couldn't get back into our home. My wife accidentally closed the door, and stayed outside trying to talk to me, I was driving and the first phone I searched for, I called and said I needed to open a door, because my wife was outside, they asked to wait for someone call me back, a guy called me and I explained the situation; 'he said he would charge $ 29.00 plus labor, in resume he charged for less than 1 minute $ 164.00 and wanted + 40.00 to fix what was not broken, and still wanted a tip. Anyone else would not spend more than $ 60.00. For mine I consider it a robbery, I understand that is his profession, moreover, was very rude, I sincerely do not recommend it to anyone. read more

One of the technicians came over to repair our lock, was very rude and doesn't know how to talk to customers. Also for small job he asked for $150. I called the office and I had more worse experience. He introduced himself manager but his behavior was the most worst. They charged us $30 for only visit. When we asked for a receipt, they just gave us random paper with no business name on it. We have repaired the same lock with $0 money. read more

GT Locksmith showed up 40 min late to the call. When arrived he stated he needed to charge me more than what was quoted because of a special machine he needed to use. Of course he doesn't accept card, so had to go to the ATM to get the additional $80 he needed. He wouldn't begin working on the car until I returned. Then I sat and waited for him to do the work. FYI this was supposed to be my lunch break and I already waited 40 min for him to arrive, plus had to go to the ATM and back, then wait for him to make the key. He finishes and gave me the nearly $300 fob, He asked me if I would put a review on Yelp, I said I'm not sure, maybe later. He says, "No it will only take a second." He then takes my phone, writes the positive review, took the picture of the fob himself and posted it to Yelp. I stood there watching, thinking this is absolutely nuts! In the end, I also never got an actual key, only the fob. On this car you need an actual key to unlock the doors. When I realized it and tried to contact him later that day his number was no longer in service. I think GT Locksmith is a scam artist and would never recommend their service. And as others have said, they're rude. read more

Guy was at my house within 10 minutes of my call! He diagnosed the problem, and was quick to fix it! He was prompt, courteous, and knew his craft! I would recommend him anytime! The only thing was, he tried to tack on hidden charges, and he put a lot of pressure on me to give him an excellent rating on yelp! In fact, he actually asked to come into my house, to "help" me with the review, to make sure I got every thing right! I felt so much pressure over the review, and finally told him so. According to my realtor I was charged 350% of what I should have been charged to change six locks and given 8 keys.

Very Prompt response (less than 30 minutes for a problem with the lock on my front door. Technician very courteous professional. Unfortunately lock could not be fixed and replacement was of lesser value and does not match other side of the double door. The lock works fine, but will have to find replacement for other side.
