I never write reviews but, I felt this experience needed to be heard. We lost both my keys to my car. I spend a whole week looking for them turning the house upside down looked outside too because I figured it would cost me a lot to get my keys replaced. With no luck I called the dealer and WOW they wanted to replace the computer without hesitation and quoted me $3000, $500 for two new keys, and $500 to program plus taxes said the service guy at Lexus and I had to tow the car to them my car a 2000 he said you just missed the 10 year cut off. it it was a 2001 we would reprogram and cut the keys........Still over $1000. plus towing and no close dealer to me mind you. friends and family said call a locksmith, they may be able to help. after calling several with no luck, I called GT Locksmith. I let them know my problem of loosing both KEY and not able to drive/move the car at all. Oh my goodness!!!!! I was told with a friendly voice no problem we can do it for you. Same day appt. I was given a call prior to appt. and they REPROGRAMMED the computer mind you no need to replace it, put a new code, made three keys ( I wanted extra) and DONE. after he reprogramed, cut the keys, and inserted the keys to turn the ignition........ Life saver! I had to call them tonight at 8:45 pm after searching for over 3 hours for keys. He was here in about 15 min. and gave me such a reasonable price. $100 less than AAA quoted me. I have a newer Jeep Compass and was very worried that he wouldn't be able to do it. He did let me know that there was a chance, but in that case, I would only be charged $19 service fee. He also said it could take a a little over an hour or so to try. under 40 MIN.!!!! I had my key and my car started! So thankful for his professionalism and being that I was at home alone at the time, was thankful that he kept his car running with the lights on, kept me feeling safe and made sure to update me along the way. Highly recommend his service before anyone else. Who knew any company could make a key. I swore I would be out some serious $$$$ after being told my neighbors that the dealer would be the only option because of the newer model car. read more

Guy was a tremendous help to us. We were locked out of our garage. Originally it was supposed to be a lock-pick job so we could open the garage door manually. But after picking the lock and pulling on the cable we realized that the cable was not connected to the release latch. Guy then had to get a wire and fish for the red rope handle to release the latch. He persevered for over 45 minutes to finally get it. He refused to give up. He received several other business calls while helping us. He was able to handle the calls politely but he remained with us. He would not leave until he finished the job. We were very impressed with his tenacity. This leads me to believe that he would be a tremendous asset to anyone in need. We highly recommend Guy and GT Locksmith. read more

Great service. They came in 10 minutes to Murrietta, and charged only $25 to come out - Affordable Lock & Key was going to charge $50. I had a rolltop desk that was locked and a side door to the garage with a very old lock that I lost the key for. That old lock couldn't be opened and he was creative in problem solving, though the garage door couldn't unlock either (this is an old condo from the 80s so this didn't surprise me. He ended up drilling the lock and replacing the doorknob, and giving me the keys for free...sort of a volume discount since he did the desk as well. read more

Very professional and prompt response from Yelp questions. Scheduling was easy, and Guy was great! He was promptly on time. I had 3 doors/ replace deadbolt and add the door handle lock, 45 minutes. He even asked about our mailbox and changed that also. Grand total 1 hr. Guy is just a hard working dude. The day after Best Buy took the door off for my appliance delivery, and broke the knob lock. The panic bar on our entryway door at the church broke off when someone tried to force it shut. It was a Saturday night and it would have been impossible to secure the building with a broken door. Called to have a broken knob replaced before a party this weekend. He was able to make it to my house within a few hours. He replaced the broken door and worked with me price wise so I could afford to get a couple others key and lock issues taken care of. I locked my car key in the trunk of 2016 Hyundai Sonata. Which if you didn't know is really hard to get into. So I called AAA They were able to open the car but not open the trunk. Do to the security system lock out process. But I called around and the only way to get to the trunk was to call a locksmith. So I Guy that's his name.
