Next time no bacon though. The bun was probably one of the best I've had and the meat was very good too. Fries were a thicker cut which I usually stray away from, but they had plenty of seasoning which made em better than I thought. Onion rings...eh I wasn't a fan really. The batter was thick and they just were lacking IMO. Man this place has love and care. Everyone is trying their best and you are going to feel really great when you eat here. We stopped while on a short road trip. It was an off season time and out of regular rush hour dining times. We were able to get in quickly, order right away. And served promptly. It is a fun experience with entertaining decorations. There was a good choice of burgers and they accommodated our special cooking levels. You order at the counter an server your own drink. Tasty onion rings and sweet potato fries. If you don't stuff yourself or drink too many beers, you can go out back for a game of Pickleball. My husband and I ordered cheeseburgers and onion rings to go. We ate in our car because we're still social distancing. The burgers were perfection, the meat tasted fresh, and was well made. The lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles were fresh too. The onions rings were a generous portion of heaven. Golden crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside. It reminded us of the great burgers and rings you could get in the 1950's. We will be coming back again! read more

Fries and a drink I recommend 5 guys for the same price point, fries were forgetful and the lettuce is shredded, lettuce adds a nice crunch, a garden salad on my burger makes the buns slip, and makes it hard to even eat. And I wish the cheese wasn't the plastic single serve kind. Not terrible by any means but let down by the food, after seeing all the cool decor i figured it was a good stop for lunch, wasn't bad or good, just pricey . I also wish the owner would add some creativity and use love on the fries because they were just so bland it hurt. read more

My daughter and I stopped into grumps at 8 PM. I get it an hour before closing ....but that really shouldn't make a difference in the quality of the food. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, fried pickles, and french fries. The wait was about 10 minutes which was expected. they're cooking food. However, in that 10 minutes I would've expected the french fries and the pickles to come out hot like the hamburger ...Instead I think they were fried the day before we got there. The d dried fried pickles were super super overly salty and dead cold not frozen but fried maybe the day before we ordered them? the french fries were barely lukewarm. We did not finish either one we ate maybe 3/4 of the french fries and the pickles. We each ate about four and decided that they were cold rockhard and too salty so we didn't eat those However the saving grace was that our hamburgers were excellent so I gave this place two stars because if you're going to prepare a hamburger hot, I would think that you would throw down the french fries and the fried pickles at the same time so that it all comes to the pass hot. Lukewarm french fries, old cold fried the day before pickles, straight up old and cold so I would go to this place in order only the hamburger and pass on the sides. It's apparent to me that whoever cooked and also served this meal could've cared less about what they brought to our table. read more
