From the start, breakfast was solid all the way around. Seating was quick (we seated ourselves), and our waitress came over almost immediately to take drink orders. When she returned, we were ready to order--which is always a minor victory when dining with my youngest grandsons. One of them eats like a champ; the other... not so much. On this visit, hash browns were the sole winner for him. As for me, I went big. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet topped with hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast also came with two large pancakes. The only minor downside was that the pancakes arrived just slightly warm--not hot. I understand they're likely made ahead and held under a heat lamp while the rest of the table's orders are finished, so it wasn't a dealbreaker, and I still enjoyed them. Overall, Cari's is a great spot for breakfast, and hopefully I won't wait another eight years before my next visit!

This is a busy spot (especially on weekends), so reservations are highly recommended. From start to finish, everything about Christina's feels special. Attentive service, beautiful plates, and food that tastes like it was made with care. If you're in Granbury, make the time to eat here -- you won't regret it.
