So called lobster roll smaller than
Jacqueline H.

So I ordered the lobster roll which consisted only of lobster claws and a hotdog bun and it was smaller than my hand no seasoning no flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich which was very good and large portion.. I'd be willing to come back and try their dishes, but the lobster roll was terrible and I wouldn't even call it a lobster roll maybe a lobster hotdog.

My husband and I found this restaurant on a whim on a family trip to Granbury! It was excellent! The wait was shorter than the hostess originally told us which we always appreciate. I tried the ginger mocktail and it was delicious. You have to try the crab cakes! I'm not being dramatic when I say that they were the best crab cakes I've ever eaten. I enjoyed the filet, potatoes and green beans. My husband liked the shrimp pasta. We would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely try again if we're in the area.

Outstanding!!! We were directed here by a local shopkeeper. We snagged an 11:30 reservation (highly recommended). Upscale, but not stuffy. Big brunch / lunch crowd. My wife had the Quiche Lorraine....said it was excellent. I'm a sucker for shrimp and grits and I've had them in S. Carolina, Alabama and New Orleans, but these were the best!! Generous portion of perfectly cooked shrimp atop creamy, savory grits (not too much cheese). Perfection!! Our server Luke ("like the Bible"), did a great job. If you like S&G, you must try these. The owners are very hands-on....which is a good thing. She was running the front end; he's the Exec. Chef. Keep up the great work!!!

We came here for brunch and didn't have a wait at all. We were seated by the window, our choice and we got the carafe of mimosa $20. It was good and i ordered the eggs Benedict but added lobster. Highly recommend the lobster gave it the extra flavor needed to send this meal over the top. We also did the breakfast shot and was a great way to start brunch off

Brunch was excellent. I loved my breakfast shot. Chicken and waffles could've used some more flavor but I ate everything on my plate our waitress checked on us often and overall we had a great experience.

Great Kate

Sunday Brunch, around 10am , not too crowded, and was seated quickly. Nick was our server and he was great. We had the Great Kate + Chicken and Waffles Wish I needed the Great Kate instead. Gravy was awesome Coffee was the fu fu kind, sorry, artisans kind which had a mix of chocolate, berry and raisins... Not to my liking.... Ambiance was nice, the place was on the ground floor of the Nutt House Hotel. Parking and location were fine, since it is in he heart of downtown Grandbury Yes, we will be back but this time I will get a coke zero instead of coffee.

Breakfast sandwich

This is a nice restaurant on the square in Granbury that serves a great brunch. My wife had the breakfast sandwich which was served on a jalapeno bagel. It had bacon, turkey, and havarti cheese on it and served with a side of crispy potatoes. I tried some and it was a top notch breakfast sandwich. For my entree I had the Great Kate and was very pleased with my choice. It was two fried chicken thighs served in top of a homemade biscuit, with sausage gravy and hollandaise sauce covering that. Wow! I was a little leery of the hollandaise sauce going into it, but my motto is to eat the meal how the chef serves it... I don't ever ask for alterations. And in this case it turned out to be a great choice. It was a wonderful flavor profile and a very filling meal. This is a great brunch stop!

Walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile from the hostess. The service was excellent- a few minutes after we sat down at our table the server was there to take our drink order....on a very busy Sunday!! Highly recommend you get a reservation. I placed reservation the day before and they text me back almost immediately with the available times since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The atmosphere was inviting, energetic, and upbeat. They offer formal dinning to sitting at the bar seating. Now to the food/drinks....what to say expect amazing ....I had the prime rib hash with a Hugo spritz and my husband had Prosciutto Eggs Benedict with Faceless Lady drink (like Gin Fizz)- small but mighty. I would say that Christina's American Table is one of the best kept secrets in Texas. I can't wait until we return for another experience.

Fantastic food and service! We stayed at the Nutt House and dined at Christina's for dinner and ordered room service for breakfast (highly recommend). The food is wonderful. Not a bad bite was had, and the service is top tier. The jalapeño cheddar soup is delicious! Cheat code-dip the breakfast potatoes in the soup!

Braised beef short rib with polenta and carrots.

Wow. I travel a lot for work and always try to enjoy local recommendations. I was NOT prepared for this. Steak tartare was great. Chips were crisp and not greasy. Tartare was a little to cornichon forward for my taste, but the jalapeño provided a good balance. Old Fashioned was mixed generously and still balanced. Beef short rib was legit one of the best thing I've eaten this year. Fall apart, still with some chew and perfectly seasoned. Polenta was a great compliment and cooked perfectly as well. Bummed I'm not in town for another night to enjoy this place! Good enough that I'm planning a trip back with my wife.

The young lady that attended me had been previously talking to someone else and she kindly excused herself and said she needed to tend to a customer. Just her attitude and politeness won me over! She was very patient when I said it was my first time and explained things thoroughly with the few questions I had while also offering a suggestion I decided to go with. Now to the food...OMG! These sandwiches AND soup are delicious! The portions were just right and the flavor was on point. The bread was toasted just the right amount, the meats tasted super fresh, and the soups felt like my mom had cooked it up in her kitchen. I know it's a basic and simple meal but some people can either overdue it or not get it right BUT Stone Soup Cafe definitely did it all right! I hope you give them a try! I'd love to try all their sandwiches now with the flavor burst I got from my very first bite to the last! I've already told my friends they need to go check them out...and they know how I love me a good sandwich. Stop by and see for yourself what I'm talking about. They're pretty quick too so if you're in a hurry you'll still be good to go! ...in my excitement for how good the food tasted I forgot to mention I ordered the tomato soup with pasta, a potato salad, 1/2 a California Sandwich, 1/2 egg salad sandwich on Hawaiian Sour Dough oh and I got a small little cookie with my order! It was all delicious!

I wasn't entirely sold when first reading the description, but I'm already a big fan of apples and caramel with a side of cheese.. why wouldn't I love a sandwich version? And I do. The Caramel Gang is a perfect mix of savory and sweet flavors with all the best textures going on: soft mozzarella, gooey caramel, and crunchy, crisp, tart green apples.. it's so fun and interesting and entirely delicious. I like to pair it with the tomato bisque, which is served on Tuesdays and Thursdays (potato soup on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, broccoli cheese on Wednesdays). Don't sleep on this sandwich shop. They have a simple but memorable menu of fantastic paninis, sandwiches, salads, soup of the day, and scratch-made desserts like coconut cream pie, banana pudding, and chocolate chip cookies. Mmm so good!

Tasty but a little strange in terms of complementary bread. More seemed like palette cleansers or again oversized croutons The staff were gracious hosts. The space feels intimate and welcoming, the kind of spot where the steam from the bowls fogs up the windows and time slows down just enough to enjoy your meal. The ramen is where Kintaro really shines. The broth is deeply flavored and comforting, rich without feeling heavy, and clearly simmered with care. Every sip feels intentional. The noodles have that perfect bite, springy and substantial, soaking up the broth without going soft. Toppings are generous and well balanced, especially the pork, which is tender and savory and melts into the broth in the best way. What really sells the experience is how everything works together. The warmth of the space, the aroma of the kitchen, and the layered flavors in the bowl create something that feels less like a quick meal and more like a small ritual. It's the kind of place you want to linger, finishing the last drops of broth even when you're already full. Kintaro isn't flashy or overhyped.
