First visit to this location and the food was AMAZING. Everything was tasty and had been freshly cooked. We were a little confused when we walked in b/c there is not a "please wait to be seated sign" but the waitress was great and sat us down promptly. The place was packed and you could hear all the chatter but very homey vibe and smiling faces. We plan to return soon b/c I now want to try the lunch options. Very good pick!!! Thanks Yelp for providing us yelpers the opportunity to suggest such great places!!!

Food came very quickly-fresh and hot- exactly as ordered. Loaded omelet with added jalapeños inside and out. Substituted American fries - extra crispy. Service was old-world level! Every server gave a master class on how to serve diners.,BEST BREAKFAST IN GRANBURY!

You will not go wrong with this place. Underrated and over served. Best tuna sandwich I've had ever!

    Omg! This cinnamon roll!

Tried 3 different breakfast restaurants in Granbury & this is the winner!!! They are busy, but handle it well. The ginormous cinnamon roll was so good I ordered 1 to go. Chocolate chip pancakes were filled to the brim with chocolate, perfectly cooked & I added some peanut butter for pure perfection. My family loved their egg dishes too. Take my advice & try Firehouse first.

Delicious!! Im visiting from out of town, and i saw this place on yelp! I really wanted to try the weekly specials, money specifically so im so happy that im in town today and i was able to check them out a few hours before they closed! The place is super cute, and well AC'ed which you definitely need in this heat. The staff is super nice and attentive, overall a very nice place to have breakfast/lunch. We got: A complementary break basket with a delicious home made warm loaf with butter and delicious honey corn bread!! Monday specials: smothered pork chops and meat loaf. I got my pork chops with buttered corn and a twice baked potato. The gravy was like a mushroom soup, and the pork was so delicious and tender! Came with some rice as well! Super tasty!! The meat loaf was soooooo good, nicely spiced, with a good sauce, super yummy beef as well! We got the fried cabbage which was buttery and delicious! And the mashed potatoes which were soooo buttery and so yummy with the white gravy! Then we got the HUGE blueberry pancake with bacon (sooo good and came with a thick slab of butter as it should!!) and the bacon was crispy! The pancake was also topped with powered sugar! We also got the biscuits and gravy which were also huge, flakey yet thick, buttery and delicious. Perfect with the pepper gravy!

Waffle - simple, buttery, sweet, soft, and delicious.

The food is delicious here. The waiter was welcoming, quick, attentive, and knowledgeable (didn't catch his name). Upon arrival at 8:30am on a Sunday, it was quiet, but by 9am the place was loaded with customers. Get in early or be ready to wait a bit. The waffle batter was a nice sweet. The egg omelette had quality ingredients. The hash browns were perfectly grilled and had the perfect amount of crunchy shavings. Probably the best hash browns I've ever had and I don't tend to like them because other places don't crunch them enough or just mash them up like potato cakes. But these hash browns had something different about them that made them really good. The place has a couple TVs spread out which I thought was cool and good for when your team is playing. The upholstery in the booth I sat at could have used a little loving. The place had cool decorations for Halloween which added a little more charm. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and I think the plethora of customers would do the same. My only recommendation for this place is that they provide warm syrup for waffles/pancakes. I love when places do that - it helps the butter melt and keeps the cakes warm. That is the only reason they get 4 stars and not 5.

From the start, breakfast was solid all the way around. Seating was quick (we seated ourselves), and our waitress came over almost immediately to take drink orders. When she returned, we were ready to order--which is always a minor victory when dining with my youngest grandsons. One of them eats like a champ; the other... not so much. On this visit, hash browns were the sole winner for him. As for me, I went big. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet topped with hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast also came with two large pancakes. The only minor downside was that the pancakes arrived just slightly warm--not hot. I understand they're likely made ahead and held under a heat lamp while the rest of the table's orders are finished, so it wasn't a dealbreaker, and I still enjoyed them. Overall, Cari's is a great spot for breakfast, and hopefully I won't wait another eight years before my next visit!

Even with a party of 8 we didn't wait more than 10 min. 1 Star Service: As stated, we were sat quickly. We did ask for the ceiling fan above us to be turned off and one of the waiters quipped, "It's not there for y'all, it's for the servers who are sweating." That really put me off to begin the meal, BUT that being said, our waiter was nothing but nice and cordial the whole time. 1 Star Food: The food was fantastic. The portions are HUGE! With the 8 of us, we ordered a variety of dishes including pancake, waffles, an omelette, etc.... My wife and I ordered the 1866, which costs (you guessed it, $18.66) and came with enough food to feed 4 people very comfortably. A giant biscuit with gravy. Two large pancakes, a Belgian waffle, 2 eggs of your choice, 2 big slices of toast (your choice of bread, but I highly recommend the sourdough), hashbrowns, and your choice of sausage patties or bacon. Every single item was delicious. Would definitely go back if ever in Granbury again. 2 Stars Overall: Great breakfast spot in Granbury. It being Sunday of Labor Day weekend meant everyone was in town, and it definitely slowed things down. There wasn't a single open table inside or outside. I wasn't sitting down for service, just grabbing things for the road, but I ordered a muffin and an iced Cinnamon Twist. I think I regret ordering the size as big as I did (their grande was like 24 oz iced) because it was quite milky (my fault), but the cinnamon and vanilla were good. The muffin was the true star of the show. It was huge, dense, and fluffy. A much-needed carb and sugar rush after my humid Granbury run. The place is super cute, and I will totally try to go back for brunch next time I visit. The place can feel a little tight when you're trying to order to-go without getting in the way of the staff, other people ordering, and the people dining in, but the place was practically at capacity when I got there. I also saw the Yelp sticker on their door, and I was like, OMG I YELP. RIYL: A bistro pulled straight out of a Hallmark Original Movie.

About a month…read moreago, my parents went on a road trip through parts of Texas they'd not yet explored in their 60 or so years. One stop in Granbury for my dad to look at an old car for sale led my mom to The Pan Handle to shop while he fantasized about purchasing the vehicle. I think by the time my mom left The Pan Handle, she was fantasizing about moving to Granbury. She called me immediately after shopping there to tell me what a great experience she'd had and returned home with a gift for me - a cutting board by the same brand of one I got her last year that she'd broken. While shopping, she told the story of the cutting board's demise to Sara in the store and Sara kindly offered to contact her rep for the brand. He knew nothing about the specific design (a map of the U.K.) but said he'd try to find it in warehouses across the U.S. He did and almost exactly a month later, that cutting board arrived at my mom's door, packaged securely by the Pan Handle with a note signed by Sara. Even I, at 29 years old, know customer service like this is hard to come by and that's why I'm giving 5-stars. Sara knew my mom wasn't from the area and quite possibly might never return to the store, but she did everything she could to make sure my mom had a pleasant experience. Because of this, I think The Pan Handle might have to be a stop on any trips we take "up north" in the future.
