Baja sandwich
Gracie M.

OBSESSED is an understatement. I had only been to the baked in Glen rose before (which is also amazing!). Everything looked amazingly delicious. The baked goods looked beautiful and truly stunning. I wanted to try one of each. I ended up picking the Baja sandwich which was a great choice. If this was in the town i lived I'd go there every single day. The service was top notch and friendly. The ambiance was cozy, homey, a cute hidden gem!

Peeps. Hit the area for some R& and asked the natives where to go and they didn't disappoint. This place is a vibe with delicious coffee and pastries. Only disappointment was they ran out of bagels and closes way too early. Definitely get away from the square and check them out. #DrKindness

This place was so good!! Amazing coffee, the coffee flight is so fun and the vanilla latte is really good. The pastries are fun and they have a variety. The grilled cheese was probably the best I've had. Highly recommend this place!

Great spot for breakfast and pastries, they do have some gluten sensitive options as well which is great. I got the pumpkin cream cheese muffin, my daughter had the chocolate chip danish, parents got the coffee cake gluten free, and the blueberry scone. All were amazing and well worth the wait in line to get, the bread loafs looked very tempting as well but we passed for today.

I'm in Granbury for work this month and decided to stop by to Baked Bread and Pastry to grab an iced chai and study for a bit. And it did not disappoint at all! This place is so cute. It gives me cozy barn house vibes and is surrounded by pretty greenery. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which is covered. I appreciate that there are pillows on the wooden booths for extra comfort. If you plan to get work done and need to focus, I'd recommend bringing head/ear phones. Also, the staff was so friendly and attentive. I ordered a small iced chai and was surprised by the affordability compared to other coffee shops (around $4.50). The pastries looked absolutely divine too. Hours are pretty limited since they close at 2 PM from Mon-Sat and are closed on Sundays. There's plenty of parking, but some of it is on gravel so beware if your car is sensitive. Overall, I'll be in the Granbury area for the next month for work, and I will most definitely be visiting again (especially to try out their pastries!).

So good!

We come here every couple months and it never disappoints!! We've tried several of their pastries and all have been delicious. I also frequently get the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and it's perfect. They have coloring books and crayons to keep your kiddos occupied. It's often busy, and I always plan to be here 45-60 minutes. Whenever we have friends or family visit from out of state, we always drive them down to Baked!

Southwest BLT with a side of fruit

Let me tell you! This place is so cute and the food is fantastic. We saw a clip on FB and had to make the trip out, not knowing they also served breakfast and lunch. Thankfully, we arrived at the perfect time and were able to order from both options as well as grab some pastries. My mom ordered the French toast, which is only available on certain days, it was covered with strawberries and blueberries and barely needed any syrup! My daughter ordered the spinach Florentine bagel but had to substitute it with a croissant because they were already out of bagels for the day, she really enjoyed it. I ordered the southwest BLT, and the jalapeño cheddar sourdough was so good. We also ordered the coffee flight, we probably wouldn't order that again but we enjoyed trying it. Now for the pastries-the reason we originally came. We got an almond croissant, chocolate croissant, jalapeño popper bagel. After we ate, we went back through the line to get more pasties, but they were out of most of them by that time, we were able to get a cranberry orange scone. All of this to say, we will definitely be coming back but will get extra pastries the first time in the line. This was a great way to start out our day in Granbury!

So I have been to baked twice now. It's a very cute little place. It is always super clean and the bathrooms are immaculate. and it always seems to be busy. Even though there may be a line they get through their orders quickly and efficiently so you never have to wait very long in the line. There seems to be a lot of seating for a place that appears to be quite small, but I have never had any trouble finding a place to sit. There is also additional seating outside on the patio. Both times I have gone, I have ordered the same thing which is a large iced coffee with half-and-half and a sausage roll. Here is my review might differ from the raving reviews that everyone else seems to have for baked. My first visit at baked the iced coffee hardly had any half-and-half in it. However, the sausage roll was absolutely delicious! The people that waited on me were nice and polite. However, on my second visit the iced coffee had a ton of half-and-half in it and my sausage roll was still good, but it was just so greasy. Plus the sausage was so tough that I really could barely eat it. I couldn't even cut it with plastic utensils. Also, on the second visit I noticed that the employees were not very friendly at all. But, everyone has bad days so not that big of a deal. Anyway, Baked is just not a poor decision for dining. It's just not my favorite. So it's worth a visit. You may like it! A lot of people do.

Oh my goodness! I recently moved here from Houston and this is by far some of the best that I've had. The coffee is good, pretty standard but enjoyable (we got the snickerdoodle latte) But the pastries are where it's at. The chocolate croissant was buttery and flaky, and the mango vanilla cruffin was light and fresh. The servers were kind and everything came out quickly. The place is open and while there were a lot of people it never felt overwhelming, and there's also outdoor seating. Highly recommend making a stop here!

The line that went out the door and began to loop around the front porch was worth every minute. It was definitely a decent wait of standing in line but once you got to the front and ordered and ate all the things, you forgot about the wait. Baked is lovely inside, the servers are kind and friendly. It's a cute place with great outside tables on the rare perfect weather Texas days. Then there is the food!! Holy moly!! Get the in a blanket thing. BUY THEM ALL!!! Every single one. Eat one there. One on the way home. One when you get home. And, one every day after until you run out. Or you can do that with one of their cruffins, cinnamon role, apple fritter...just pick one and enjoy. If you don't like sweets, don't worry. The sandwiches, avocado toast, savory items are also fantastic!! You need to eat here (and bring me one of those sausage things)!! You're welcome!

What the Foccacia! (Chipotle chicken sandwich)

Cool little place. I had maybe the best sandwich I ever had! I ordered What the Focaccia! Highly recommend this place. Very good bread! 10/10

They offer a large variety of food and I have found that you better bring your appetite because the portions are huge. Their open face scramble is my go to its starts with a large homemade biscuit which to me is one of the best I have ever had. It is then covered with hash browns,:two eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. It is then all smothered with gravy. It is a lot of food I usually take half of it home. And all this food for under $10. I will warn you to think twice before ordering a stack of pancakes unless you are really hungry each one is the size of the plate so three of these is sure to fill you up. One last thing if you are visiting here on the weekend be prepared to have a small wait as this is a local favorite but will be definitely worth it

From the start, breakfast was solid all the way around. Seating was quick (we seated ourselves), and our waitress came over almost immediately to take drink orders. When she returned, we were ready to order--which is always a minor victory when dining with my youngest grandsons. One of them eats like a champ; the other... not so much. On this visit, hash browns were the sole winner for him. As for me, I went big. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet topped with hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast also came with two large pancakes. The only minor downside was that the pancakes arrived just slightly warm--not hot. I understand they're likely made ahead and held under a heat lamp while the rest of the table's orders are finished, so it wasn't a dealbreaker, and I still enjoyed them. Overall, Cari's is a great spot for breakfast, and hopefully I won't wait another eight years before my next visit!

It being Sunday of Labor Day weekend meant everyone was in town, and it definitely slowed things down. There wasn't a single open table inside or outside. I wasn't sitting down for service, just grabbing things for the road, but I ordered a muffin and an iced Cinnamon Twist. I think I regret ordering the size as big as I did (their grande was like 24 oz iced) because it was quite milky (my fault), but the cinnamon and vanilla were good. The muffin was the true star of the show. It was huge, dense, and fluffy. A much-needed carb and sugar rush after my humid Granbury run. The place is super cute, and I will totally try to go back for brunch next time I visit. The place can feel a little tight when you're trying to order to-go without getting in the way of the staff, other people ordering, and the people dining in, but the place was practically at capacity when I got there. Being a semi-regular visitor to Granbury, I have always wanted to be able to visit Brew Drinkery,…read moreespecially since I've sampled many, many beers from not just the US, but from everywhere else. My first visit to this location was yesterday, a Wednesday. Two of the people there were the bartender/owner Jacoby, and Mary who was in charge of the selections. Their beer offering was not a printed list, but a list displayed on three big screen TVs. There were 40 taps and only ONE "stable", the Guinness. A few non-Texas beers, but mostly they were Texas crafts. I actually liked that because that was their goal/model. I was able to sample 7 beers I have never tried before. Considering my purchased record at my home store is 707. That being said, if you're looking for a "stable", go next door to The Filling Station. BUT, if you're willing and want to expand your pallette, and you're in town for whatever reason, this is THE place for that. All of their pints are $7-8, a very reasonable price. Came tonight because it was "pint night" featuring Cowtown Beers, four of them. Fired off a flight, enjoyed them all. $10 for all four. Oh yeah, the best part, at least for now, they have the Chimay Cinq Cents on tap for $9.50.

Apparently their website is not up to date and was hacked so they can't update the website. The menu is very limited, but still has decent options. They mainly have pizza but when I searched online it said they had all these different kind of bowls (Greek chicken bowl, Cuban bowl, etc.) Well they only have one on the menu. And the rest is pub bar food. Also it was advertised it was a bar and restaurant, not a bar that happens to serve food. Our experience wasn't terrible, the staff was very nice, we were just expecting more of a restaurant experience, vs ordering at the bar and waiting for food. Overall the food was decent. Just came out kinda slow and out of order. Probably won't be back here in the near future with kids, but if you're looking for a bar with friendly staff, this is that. The bathrooms are really clean too, so that's a plus.
