I expected the avocado toast to be a smashed avocado on toast and topped with the other ingredients, but sadly it was just an egg on the toast, with 3 or four thin slices of avocado on the top. My oldest daughter ordered the huevos rancheros and asked for no tomatoes, there were so many tomatoes in her eggs that she couldn't even pick them out. It was very disappointing. My youngest daughter liked the smoothie but she said the waffle was kind of hard. One of the lattes we received was okay but the other tasted as if the espresso was burned. I think I regret ordering the size as big as I did (their grande was like 24 oz iced) because it was quite milky (my fault), but the cinnamon and vanilla were good. The muffin was the true star of the show. It was huge, dense, and fluffy. A much-needed carb and sugar rush after my humid Granbury run. The place is super cute, and I will totally try to go back for brunch next time I visit. The place can feel a little tight when you're trying to order to-go without getting in the way of the staff, other people ordering, and the people dining in, but the place was practically at capacity when I got there. Once you walk inside the cafe now has book shelves along the walls and register area. You are free to grab a book and read it while you are there. We ended up here because most of the restaurants were closed. We were there on a Wednesday.
