To begin with, Carmen herself is just as nice as can be! She is warm, welcoming, and provides great service. The food here is quite good. Excellent breakfast burritos. Great chips and salsa (ask for the hot salsa!) Always a nice lunch special. I have not been there for dinner. The ambiance is quaint and homey. Friendly atmosphere and full of locals. Definitely worth a try if you looking for Mexican food in Godley! Jim

It was next to her job and so it wasn't far for us to enjoy some great food together. For lunch I just ordered myself the Philly cheeses steak. It was delicious and the fries were cooked just right. Then my sister and I came back for breakfast the next day for day two of my tattoo work. And it was another amazing fulfilling event for us both. The staff are very awesome, attentive, and work together to make sure they provide a great service to their customers. The ambiance is small town country feel. I enjoyed this restaurant a lot. I am looking forward to eating her again next time I am visiting with my sister.

We have came here once a year starting in 2023. This…read morerestaurant used to be fabulous. We would drive 20 miles out of our way home to eat here. They had fabulous chips and queso and great smoked meats. We stopped here (in July of 2026) on a Saturday night and were the only ones at the restaurant. The food was horrible. We got queso, which did not taste like anything. We both did not finish our tacos. There wasn't any seasoning on the meats and they were honestly gross. They were also out of smoked brisket and fajita meat. They service was good and the they were very kind but it made us so sad. We will not be coming back here again. I hate to leave a bad review, but I wanted others to be aware as I know many people used to drive out of their way to eat here.

It is huge as well. I usually order pick up but I have been inside once or twice. It's kinda small, but it was clean the last time I did eat inside. The service is friendly and relatively quick for as busy as they usually are . They're only open until 2:pm, so keep that in mind. No alcoholic beverages, but they have a good choice of Mexican sodas. The last time I ordered - 8/9/26 the green sauce (which is usually some of the best around) was very runny and watery. There wasn't much heat either. I hope that was just a fluke & not how they have started making it! All in all Don Taco is solid especially on their Breakfast burritos.

Tonight was the last chance I'll give them. i just paid $52 for food...hard-earned dollars. For food that is completely inedible. Throwing it in the trash as I speak. we already had to go back once because we got home the first time and they didn't give us half the food, which is a usual occurrence, but we forgot to check before we left this time. The fries, as usual, are cold, stale, floppy, and taste like they've been cooked in old oil. The chicken strips are at least hot, but also taste like they were cooked in old oil. That has always been the taste from this DQ, but it's extra bad tonight. I don't either bother getting drinks from here because they always taste weird or are flat. We are huge DQ fans and eat there probably once a month, but we will drive to another town for it from now on. I know this one has to need a good deep cleaning of all of their equipment and employees who don't goof off constantly.
