2 stars? Let me tell you why…read more I really wanted to love this place because on paper it checks a lot of boxes. The location is convenient, the store itself is impressively large, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. Prices are also reasonable, which makes it an easy stop if you are in the area and just want to grab something quickly. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart once you get past the surface. The customer service felt unwelcoming, particularly if you are not a regular or clearly part of the local crowd. The vibe was more cold than hospitable, which is disappointing for a place that clearly sees a lot of foot traffic. As for the food, the donuts are actually pretty decent and show some promise. However, the sausage in the kolaches was a letdown in both flavor and quality and detracted from what could have been a solid offering. The bread used for the biscuits and similar items is also very specific to this shop and while some may enjoy it, it was not to my taste and felt more odd than comforting. Overall, this is a spot with potential but inconsistent execution. Between the unfriendly atmosphere and uneven food quality, it is hard to justify more than two stars despite the good location, size, selection, and pricing.

So here's the thing... I'm not a huge fan of their donuts. The donut holes are dense and there's…read morenot much glaze on them. They do have fun donuts with Fruity Pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch - they re ok, but again lots of dough. The balance of icing or glaze to dough is off. Now onto the best part - their sausage rolls are really good! They have different options for these, including a boudin jalapeño sausage! What's interesting is their sausage rolls don't have as much dough as you'd usually see elsewhere, and they're great! The dough is like a cross between a bagel and donut. They also have these spinach & cheese flaky croissant things - perfection!

I've only been here twice. I'm not a big donut person, but I absolutely love their kolaches…read more They are delicious! I've had them at church and finally found which donut shop they were coming from. My husband loves raspberry and cream filled donuts and they have the best ones there he said. They fill your donuts on request so I thought that was pretty neat! You choose the type of doughnut you want glazed ,chocolate icing on top and they fill them for you with whatever filling you choose. There are lots of donut shops in Granbury and this one definitely caught my eye. It's right by the highhigh school I'm sure they stay very busy throughout the year.

We've visited The Donut Hole several times now, and I can officially name it one of my favorite…read moredonut shops--anywhere! From the warm welcome to the first bite of a fresh pastry, it's consistently a fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the donuts? Always fresh, always delicious. Best of all, you get great quality at very reasonable prices--perfect for families or anyone craving a sweet start to their day. Our Top Picks: * Cinnamon rolls - Giant, soft, sweet, and satisfying * Chocolate-covered Long Johns with cream filling - Perfect balance of rich chocolate and smooth cream * Glazed donuts - Classic, airy, and just right * Chocolate-sprinkled donut holes - Irresistibly snackable * Blueberry glazed cake donuts - Moist with a tangy berry kick * Apple fritters - Crisp edges, tender inside, packed with flavor * Ham & cheese croissants - Flaky, warm, and savory * Sausage kolaches - Comfort food done right Next on my list: the cream puff-looking creation--because yes please. They do have an easy drive-thru, but we always go inside. Part of the fun is eating with your eyes first--the display case is full of temptation! Final Verdict: Awesome donuts. Friendly faces. Clean and inviting shop. Reasonable prices. Hands down one of the best donuts in Texas. Highly recommend!
