Do you need a break from regular fast food? This place has best salad bar, ever! The service was wonderful. It's cute, clean, and I love that it is a Kingdom business! We will be back!

Well.. ask for EXTREMELY LIGHT ice (hopefully they wont up charge). And the tea I got was what I assumed the lady infront of me got, which was a blended pink and cream drink... I saw no sign that said they do smoothies, so i assumed the only option that mentioned strawberry was that tea on the menu... not at all. There not even cream‍ the stars are for it being affordable and coffee tasted good.

I was in Glen Rose making a day trip to several destinations. After making the full day running around to the state park, Big Rock Park, and a few other historical sites, I wanted a treat for the drive back to Fort Worth. After searching for coffee shops, this one popped up and I wanted to try it. I am so glad I did! This particular shop is faith-based and has been open for roughly six months. They offer a wide assortment of coffee, tea, and just about everything you might think of, including food. The staff was very friendly and on top of their game. Whenever I'm in the area again, I'll definitely make it a point to stop by again. Please patronize this establishment.

Grounded Coffee Shop in Glen Rose is delicious, clean, fresh, and super friendly! Bonus, it's an affordable coffee shop. Stopped in for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised and impressed!

Good coffee for Glen Rose if you don't mind waiting 30 minutes in drive thru. Call ahead might be best bet.

This location is 5 starts for aesthetics alone--in a renovated Victorian-style home--every nook and…read morecranny is filled with vintage/antique/vintage-style chic vibes. Parking on the left side of the house/cafe, walking up the handicap-accessible ramp...the porch itself is a wonder to behold with at least three swings and a few small tables. Current food and drink offerings are posted on an old door propped against a corner by the entry. I was overwhelmed with the flavor combinations, delighted by the branding of the shop, and knew I'd be making a big purchase--not being local and rarely traveling through Hico, TX we had to sample what is on offer from savory to sweet! Hico, TX has a real treasure right here ya'll! Honey lavender latte (seasonal), ham and gruyere muffin, and molasses cookies won the day for me! My partner agreed that of the three items I purchased for him, if only permitted to order one item again, it would be the molasses cookie! Similar to my aunt and grandma's chewy molasses cookie recipe, I was instantly transported to nostalgialand - grandma's kitchen or a ramshackle old cottage we used to reunion at--surrounded by relatives. Every bite filling me with goodness, warmth, and love! This is a spot I would frequent were I local to Hico--proudly sharing this beauty and its offerings with guests and purchasing goodies for office/special gatherings. If you're traveling down the road like we were, looking for a nice local coffee and something warm and delicious to eat, look no further. This is a MUST STOP.

It's right next door to where the address on the Yelp Page will take you, but it is formerly the "Bakeshop." The staff mentioned to us the former building/house was being renovated to become an AirBnB or something. We were looking forward to patio seating given we had our pup with us, but the restaurant didn't have any, so we opted for drive-thru. The restaurant itself has a small parking lot. The woman who took our order was very kind and informative, as mentioned previously. I ordered an "Iced Latte with White Chocolate" and ordered the "Breakfast Burrito," which contained sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese. The latte was good, creamy and sweet with the WC flavoring. The burrito was also good, not amazing, but good! I should have ordered 2 of them, it wasn't too big, so keep that in mind. The cheese was melted inside and the sausage was super flavorful. There was a section of my burrito in which the sausage was actually cold, which took me by surprise, but other than that it was good. Pricing was decent for what we ordered. We would come back if we were driving through again!!
