I kept things basic with an "Iced Latte with Vanilla"--it was creamy and sweet as it should have been! The only thing I'd probably ask for next time is less ice. Would love to try their other options!

It's a place where people can gather, connect, and help support those who may need a little extra kindness and generosity. Great coffee, delicious bread, wonderful people, and an even better purpose. Definitely worth a stop when you're in Hico!

It's right next door to where the address on the Yelp Page will take you, but it is formerly the "Bakeshop." The staff mentioned to us the former building/house was being renovated to become an AirBnB or something. We were looking forward to patio seating given we had our pup with us, but the restaurant didn't have any, so we opted for drive-thru. The restaurant itself has a small parking lot. The woman who took our order was very kind and informative, as mentioned previously. I ordered an "Iced Latte with White Chocolate" and ordered the "Breakfast Burrito," which contained sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese. The latte was good, creamy and sweet with the WC flavoring. The burrito was also good, not amazing, but good! I should have ordered 2 of them, it wasn't too big, so keep that in mind. The cheese was melted inside and the sausage was super flavorful. There was a section of my burrito in which the sausage was actually cold, which took me by surprise, but other than that it was good. Pricing was decent for what we ordered. We would come back if we were driving through again!!

It's very cozy inside. There are lots of flavor options. I had flavor unfamiliar to me, honey cinnamon. Super delicious. Thuy had the classic milk tea with lychee jelly. Also very good. The people working were very friendly and helpful. There are some reasonably priced food options too (bagel sandwich, pizza slices, and others that I cannot remember). Check it out. Bottom line: Great stop on the way to the park!

So seeing that there was a small bakery nearby, I had to stop by. It felt so cozy and seemed like they really cared about their craft when it came to their pastries! I've been coming here for about a solid year now and I was never disappointed in the quality here. But recently, I've found myself reluctant to come over after visiting the state park. My favorite pastries have noticeably became smaller (as a foodie, I always take pictures and noticed the size difference), but I didn't really mind the size difference it so as long as the quality remained the same (despite it being a bit expensive as is, you really can't get good quality food anywhere nowadays). Well, it turns out that the quality seemed to change as well. The bear claws I'd get were no longer the fluffy, light, melts in your mouth bear claws. I felt like a dog trying to rip meat off a bone because of how hard the pastry was! Perhaps it was a bad batch, but it became more common recently. Don't let this dissuade you from going, there are other pastries and sandwiches I've had from them that are delicious, but it's becoming more hit or miss and with how pricey things are becoming, you're going to really try out your luck with what you get.
