Pie die wouldn't have been complete without some pie. Fantastic key lime and chocolate pie.

Clockwise from top: Coconut Cream, Blueberry, BlackBerry, Rasberry Rhubarb, and Peach

These were some amazing pies. My family and I shared all of these so that everyone could try some and we were not disappointed. My favorite was the Blackberry while my moms was the peach, dads was the coconut and my brother said his was a tie between the peach and blackberry. The crust was perfectly cooked, not soggy, the sugar sprinkled on top was a great addition for some crunch as well. The girl at the counter was very nice and was excited when we told her came here on recommendation from Chet the Daytripper. We've all agreed that we would definitely come back to try other pies.

    Warm pecan pie

Cute place. Mile high meringue on the coconut pie. Pecan pie was heated up before serving. Definitely homemade. Yummy! They have all kinds of fruit pies. They have 15 varieties of pie. Not all available everyday. We came on a Monday and there were 7 or 8 pies. Hard to choose. All looked good.

Went to Dinosaur Valley State Park and stopped for some pie on the way home. They have such a large selection of homemade pies... choosing was way too hard. We decided on key lime, blubbery, banana creme, and strawberry rhubarb. In addition to the delicious pies, the atmosphere is amazing. The people are so friendly. When in Glen Rose design Kelly stop by.

    Chocolate pie. Consistency of pudding

Yikes. Stopped by here while visiting the area and was not at all happy with the pie. We took 2 bites of the chocolate pie and had to toss it. It tasted like pudding as another reviewer said. Complete waste of $5 for a slice. Do not recommend at all. I should've read the reviews. I'll give them 2 stars because the decor was cute and the staff were very friendly.

I came here on Memorial Day with my family and could not have been more disappointed. We walked in at 510 when they close at 6 and the "kids" working here treated us really bad. They had what looked like some of their buddies in the back and when we went up to spend MORE money and order additional things they acted super frustrated. I told the guy "sorry were bothering you" and he responded with "it's ok" not no you aren't bothering us etc. The food was awesome but for them to be advertising all over Glen Rose and the Fossil Rim where we heard about it their customer service is awful. What's sad is the pie was good but the way we were treated would make us never want to come back. Avoid this place unless it's not a holiday and it's well before they close if you want a good experience.

Pecan pie 15 minutes after I got it home.

Pie was good. Small slices. They ran out of ice cream which would have made my cherry pie a 5 star. Cute shop.

Best pecan pie just like grandma used to make. Fresh and warmed up. Certainly satisfying to my sweet tooth.

The staff wasn't wearing masks, which was very weird. But the pie was pretty good. Not the best, but it was ok.

Parking on the left side of the house/cafe, walking up the handicap-accessible ramp...the porch itself is a wonder to behold with at least three swings and a few small tables. Current food and drink offerings are posted on an old door propped against a corner by the entry. I was overwhelmed with the flavor combinations, delighted by the branding of the shop, and knew I'd be making a big purchase--not being local and rarely traveling through Hico, TX we had to sample what is on offer from savory to sweet! Hico, TX has a real treasure right here ya'll! Honey lavender latte (seasonal), ham and gruyere muffin, and molasses cookies won the day for me! My partner agreed that of the three items I purchased for him, if only permitted to order one item again, it would be the molasses cookie! Similar to my aunt and grandma's chewy molasses cookie recipe, I was instantly transported to nostalgialand - grandma's kitchen or a ramshackle old cottage we used to reunion at--surrounded by relatives. Every bite filling me with goodness, warmth, and love! This is a spot I would frequent were I local to Hico--proudly sharing this beauty and its offerings with guests and purchasing goodies for office/special gatherings. If you're traveling down the road like we were, looking for a nice local coffee and something warm and delicious to eat, look no further. This is a MUST STOP.

It's right next door to where the address on the Yelp Page will take you, but it is formerly the "Bakeshop." The staff mentioned to us the former building/house was being renovated to become an AirBnB or something. We were looking forward to patio seating given we had our pup with us, but the restaurant didn't have any, so we opted for drive-thru. The restaurant itself has a small parking lot. The woman who took our order was very kind and informative, as mentioned previously. I ordered an "Iced Latte with White Chocolate" and ordered the "Breakfast Burrito," which contained sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese. The latte was good, creamy and sweet with the WC flavoring. The burrito was also good, not amazing, but good! I should have ordered 2 of them, it wasn't too big, so keep that in mind. The cheese was melted inside and the sausage was super flavorful. There was a section of my burrito in which the sausage was actually cold, which took me by surprise, but other than that it was good. Pricing was decent for what we ordered. We would come back if we were driving through again!!
