My uncle had the Rueben with chips, aunt had the club with chips and my mother had the BLT with chips. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. After we ate 3 of us ordered the peach cobbler with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and the other ordered the black berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The cobbler was fantastic. The service was good our waitress was very nice and even though they were busy our order came fairly quickly. The Cafe is an old mid to early 1900's repurposed gas station. Once you walk inside the cafe now has book shelves along the walls and register area. You are free to grab a book and read it while you are there. There is also a garden area outside you are free to sit at and eat/read. It being Texas and all you will probably avoid it in the hot months. My personal favorite is the club sandwich. Cant leave out that have to top off every meal with cobbler and ice cream, I like the blackberry, wife likes the peach. Have a lot of books and kids play area inside. Very comfortable setting and the employees are always friendly and attentive.
