Everyone was RIGHT. We had a wonderful experience at this Soda Shop and our taste buds just cannot forget the delicious shakes we had here. On one side of the restaurant is a small, old school diner-style seating area, and on the other is miscellaneous merchandise for sale. It was colorful, lively and the aroma of ice cream and waffle cones was overwhelmingly good. The staff behind the counter were so nice to us and shared their recommendations. I decided to order the "Raspberry Nutella Shake." It was exactly what it sounds like--ice cream, raspberry, and Nutella all in one. SO. DELICIOUS. I highly recommend it. It was creamy, sweet, and just perfect. It came topped with whipped cream and a cherry. We cannot wait to come back the next time we're in town and also can't wait to tell our friends and family who would go to Glen Rose to make sure they make a stop here! Thank you Shoo-Fly!!

She told us the top seller for ice cream was Texas Praline and for Gelato was salted caramel. Her favorites respectively were coffee almond fudge and cookie butter. Free samples! My wife and I were big fans of the cookie butter and ended up getting that. Our friends liked the espresso, peanut butter chocolate, strawberry sorbet. About $5 after tax for a single scoop. Biggest bang for your buck would be a waffle cone. Cannot overstate the decorations and the obvious passion of the owner. Even the bathroom was very spirited.
