I chose this coffee shop for two reasons location & very good reviews but my expectations were not met. Coffee is pretty good but not very hot & coffee grounds were in the last sip. Ordered 2 bacon/eggs/cheese sandwiches both served cold -I would have thought I would have at least been asked if we wanted them warmed up. read more

Great Staff and decent drinks but they are full of ice. I got a Pink Lotus energy drink and the cup was so full of ice that the lid barely stayed on. The drink was 5.68 after tax and I probably only got 6 ounces of liquid. Just disappointed but overall this is a very cute shop and a good stop if you're walking around cleburne. read more

If I could give this place 1000 stars I totally would. (That should tell you something) by far my favorite coffee shop. The employees are very friendly and know how to make delicious coffee. My all time favorite is the Texas Tornado, you came and won't find anything similar to it. It's sooo tasty it makes you want to keep coming back for more. This is the best place I have found for coffee. They do take a little time getting the coffee to you but it's worth the wait. Today I will be trying their lemon berry muffin. Looks great. This place is decorated very modern but keeps an inviting country sheek cozy feel. read more

Really big fan of this coffee house. Happened to stumble upon it while in the area and I'm so glad I did. Black coffee is really my only coffee of choice because it allows the character of the bean to come out and be experienced. That being said, I was a little thrown off when their only drip option was flavored. Anyhow, the staff was so accommodating by offering an americano alternative. I was pleasantly surprised how with how their Americano retained so much character from the espresso that's is so often lost in over roasting and improper pulled shots. While sitting in the cafe I took some time to research the building and found that it was constructed in 1900 which just adds even more amazing character to the experience here at Mug on the Square. Thank y'all for bringing such great energy into the space. Definitely will be back read more

This place is a very charming and cozy. The gentleman that waited on me was very friendly. The drink was good and they do offer caffeine free which was nice because Nolan River Coffee company does not. It's nice when companies consider the dietary restrictions of others. read more

I came here a few times while traveling and having to work in Cleburne, TX for some time. I will say the coffee shop is very cute. It is clean and spacious. I did wear a mask just because, I prefer to. No one else was but, in my experience when traveling to work in smaller cities not alot of people do. When I walked in more often than not I was greeted and the baristas appeared friendly on almost all visits. They have a good selection of different flavors for lattes. I tried the honey lavender latte which was recommended. I had it iced and hot. It was lovely. I also had drip coffee one day with vanilla flavor since the espresso machine was down. Overall 4 stars due to a couple of times he staff did not appears friendly or helpful. This does not go for all baristas though! I would definitely return. Coffee is reasonably priced and a good amount if options. read more

It was my first time there on 7/25/24. The baristas know what they are doing. I ordered the hot honey lavender latte and it had great foam, actually tasted like lavender unlike other places, with a splash of honey for sweetness. Not too sweet and not over done. And it came in a real mug, not a paper cup. Will be back for sure to try other flavors. read more

They have THE BEST almond milk latte I have ever tasted! No others even come close to how good it is. The white mocha is great. The shop is in a great location with available parking. This place is amazing! Great customer service as you are greeted with a smile and very helpful if you can not choose. The coffee taste is fantastic! They must use the best high quality ingredients. I tried almost all the different items on the menu, and each one was different and made very well. Yes, it is just coffee in some minds, but theirs is so smooth and favorable for each one. The Honey Lavender Latte is probably one of my Fav's! Great place to drink at everyday if you are around. Beats any coffee house I've tried. Also the place is super cute looking from the outside and the inside, it don't let you down with the old historic remodel they did. Great social spot! They also serve different hot tea's.
