A lot of their drinks are strong for me, and I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I like that they provide free ice water, and they have a nice selection of pastries and even a lunch menu (sandwiches, grilled cheese, tacos and more!) for those who are looking to stick around for a while. The atmosphere is beautiful; plenty of seating, comfortable chairs and different types of table, and there's even an area my friend and I like to seat in what looks like a private event table. It's open to the public as long as no one reserves the area, so we always enjoy bringing our writing equipment and books. Personally, I really enjoy their grilled cheese. I've tried their cheese danish and brownie as well. Very delicious but a bit too sweet. My personal preference would have been a little less cheese and a thin layer of mayo vs a couple glops but they didn't stop me - I easily scooped it out. I was so excited to indulge in broccoli cheese soup. Portion size was great however it had an unexpected spicy heat that hit you on the back end of the bite and was a little watery. I tolerated a few bites trying to like it but couldn't eat it unfortunately. It totally misses the mark on the creamy cheesy indulgence that broccoli cheese soup is.
